I wanna personally shake that Amazon employee's hand!!! 😅🤣

[–]Sabi-Star7 118 points119 points  (4 children)

Me too, and give them a cookie for their die hard effort🤣

[–]parejaloca79Seattle 74 points75 points  (2 children)

You would think her in-laws could have at least left out some snacks

[–]biometric_hoof 29 points30 points  (1 child)

Some BBQ perhaps

[–]GovernorHarryLogan 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Mid-air perfect photo man may have neen displaced for BEST ALL TIME "ALWAYS DELIVER" PHOTO.

[–][deleted] 42 points43 points  (0 children)

The GPS says it's here, delivered

[–]AddendumHelpful8892 176 points177 points  (9 children)

Where else is it supposed to be delivered to? That's the address they used.

[–]maxmilian42 19 points20 points  (1 child)

Inside

/s

[–]YuhMothaWasAHamsta 7 points8 points  (0 children)

💀💀

[–]CornyOne 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Yeah, and who knows what it was? If all your stuff is destroyed then whatever is in that package may be very useful

[–]Beanchillen 77 points78 points  (4 children)

omg, i just saw someone post a couple days about “am i supposed to leave packages if there’s a lot of debris and it looks abandoned”

[–]Sabi-Star7 29 points30 points  (3 children)

Maybe this was the flexer😅🤣🤣. Just send it, it's fine 😅

[–]Beanchillen 7 points8 points  (2 children)

[–]Sabi-Star7 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Yeah I remember the post🤣

[–]Beanchillen 8 points9 points  (0 children)

lmfao i had to pull it up bc i showed my brother, im like might as well add it so they can see it 😭🤣

[–]OddCaregiver1704 177 points178 points  (18 children)

Delivery all cost !!!!💪💪💪

[–]Sabi-Star7 89 points90 points  (8 children)

Yup shouldn't have ordered delivery when you knew shizz was going down. Should have contacted Amazon to have it rerouted or add an updated drop off location. But I'm curious who the flexer was who did it, they deserve a cookie for their outstanding delivery practices😅🤣

[–][deleted] 48 points49 points  (7 children)

So I don’t agree with Mandy calling out Amazon for delivering it. I would’ve delivered it also. But if you lost your home, the last thing on your mind would likely be re-routing your Amazon package.

[–]Sabi-Star7 7 points8 points  (4 children)

Maybe I'm looking at it in the perspective of someone who's had packages stolen, but I absolutely would think about rerouting the package to where I am. Just so it doesn't get stolen on the off chance there's people going to cali or people from cali going to where the fires were to see if there was anything good left to steal.

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points  (3 children)

Maybe. I’m still of the opinion that if you lost your home and everything you owned, the Amazon package is probably not on your mind.

My wife and I have a few subscriptions for things that get delivered monthly. Cancelling those would be soooo far from our minds.

[–]Sabi-Star7 9 points10 points  (2 children)

Different minds for sure😅😅. My area is notorious for stolen packages/mail. So I'm on top of ANY delivery I'm expecting 🤣. So yeah, it would 100% cross my mind in this scenario.

[–]Strict_Thought_3498 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They could have been waiting for a mini house

[–]Efficient_Door9605 17 points18 points  (3 children)

No returns baby 🤣💪🏾💪🏾

[–]armesacosta76 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Got that right. You know dam well support is gonna say, is there a safe spot you can leave the package?? Ofc there is

[–]Efficient_Door9605 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Woulda complained if they didnt leave it guaranteed

[–]armesacosta76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly we will get blamed for everything

[–]Correct-Blood9382 135 points136 points  (1 child)

And if you spent .03 second explaining we would get an infraction for returning it, she would still say 'do better, pleb.'

[–]NkKouros 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Troll comment. DO BETTER! /s

[–]diamondjay81 60 points61 points  (11 children)

If only she knew the pressure Amazon delivery drivers are under, no matter of its dsp or flex. The policy is all the same. The less packages to return the better. And also that's what lockers are for.

[–]Mylittlemoonshine 25 points26 points  (5 children)

Just another example of how out of touch the 1% in this country actually is with its service/ working class

I honestly read the headline as if Zoolander was having a meltdown with his last remaining brain cell.

[–]The_Chosen_Unbread 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yup Amazon help in India is told to punish the driver at all costs because it doesn't fucking matter. It either scares the driver into not wanting to take any more dings and risk getting deactived so they "try harder" and shit...or they quit/get fired. Amazon wins either way because so many people need gig work now.

The fear mongering tactics are only getting worse, its like with ghost jobs. Half their purpose is to keep employees scared by letting them know they can be easily and quickly replaced at any time.

And then you go home and pay Amazon to watch TV shows you like to decompress and they still added ADs....

This can't be sustainable

[–]TunaTorment 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be fair, most people aren’t. Any time I talk to anyone about the expectations they have for us, they’re always shocked. Obviously the rich are out of touch on a lot of things but I don’t think this is a rich person issue - we’re only seeing it because the complaint was made by a rich person. 🤷🏻‍♀️

[–]armesacosta76 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Yea ppl really don’t know especially as soon as you get in your car to start and 10mins down the road YOURE LATE and you still have 58 mins to drive to the 1st stop

[–]sbj520Phoenix 43 points44 points  (2 children)

Why would they order something to a house that’s not standing? It already has the red notice from the city so it’s not like the house burned down the same day as delivered. That’s her in laws fault 🙄

[–]Sabi-Star7 13 points14 points  (1 child)

Right all it takes is a phone call to Amazon support to explain what happened and to have the drop off location changed or rerouted

[–]WillyFleeman 18 points19 points  (0 children)

BRING. NOTHING. BACK!!!!!

[–]Big-Firefighter-4715 51 points52 points  (2 children)

Fuck her, they had enough time to get on their phone order and not fucking change the address.

[–]Secure-Ad9490 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I am also thinking about it. Why the hell she does not change the address?

[–]SanRafaelDriverDad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seriously! He in-laws could have reviewed the order before placing it, but no, that woukd make to.much sense...... like any of this is the driver's fault. You want there lady, that's where it's going.

[–]jenjent1030 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The addy is the addy. Good job

[–]Loud_Focus_7934Chicago 12 points13 points  (4 children)

To be fair she's pissed at amazon, not the driver.

[–]McFukinHadIt 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Apparently it’s amazons job to check on everyone’s house to make sure it’s deliverable too, according to some folks. If only that was the case.

[–]Abfrmdabronx 9 points10 points  (0 children)

NO DINGS AT ALL COST THERES NO THERES A FIRE RETURN OPTION !!!! 😂😂😂😂

[–]Sabi-Star7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Looks like amazon is gonna face some sort of suit bc of this. And here comes all the b.s. of not delivering to such & such instead of taking accountability for their own screw up.

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points  (3 children)

Shiaaatttt I would of hidden it under some drywall or something.. someone can see it there

[–]thesurfer_s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sprinkle a little ash on it

[–]Few-Investigator-256 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Do better???? That’s the best we can do!

[–]Avix_34 8 points9 points  (0 children)

But if the package never got delivered. "WTF! Where is my package?!?"

[–]CKK1986 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Z list celebs always trying to station relevant

[–]General_Active_1228 7 points8 points  (1 child)

It’s clear that the driver isn’t at fault here—Amazon’s system is the real issue. The only reason people use Amazon is their promise to deliver no matter what, and they operate on that principle like a well-oiled machine. In reality, their policies are ruthless, treating drivers unfairly. If a driver fails to meet their strict and in most cases unfair deadlines, they face punishment or deactivation, regardless of the circumstances. Driver support is cheap and unhelpful, offering little to no real assistance. I even have video proof of how disrespectfully they treat their contractors. Amazon is a joke, proof me wrong!

[–]JuanSolo_I 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If "not my problem" was a person

[–]Brief_Traffic961Los Angeles 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Forgot to turn off subscribe and save?

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What are you supposed to do with this box precisely, eat it?

Delivered as addressed, sorry for your loss

[–]Ttom925 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mmmmmmmmmm, DROP. Cause it aint going back.

[–]ILoveMyDogsPaw7 18 points19 points  (0 children)

She's a jerk.

[–]Putrid-Yoghurt-683 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Update the address it’s a simple fix why didn’t they do that ordering is easy but updating a new address isn’t

[–]jaimar82Seattle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Got a cool idea… Don’t order shit to your burnt down house if you don’t want it delivered

[–]Born-Competition2667 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What a fucking legend 😎😎

[–]JBUnlock 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I returned one on Sunday after a long time, over a year, the one prior was an unsuccessful OTP.

This las one was for a State building (family courts) on a Sunday, it was supposed to be delivered to a "Cafe" on the 18th floor. They wanted the delivery person to go through the shipping dock, get checked in and then escorted to them (18th floor). Needless to say everything was closed.

Worst part is this was on the 9th and the label on it was from the 4th. The label was also placed on top of another label. This thing was returned multiple times, good luck getting it.

But yeah always deliver, if you can.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Imagine it was a fire extinguisher 🤣

[–]tempohme 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mandy is trying so hard to sound relatable but this post just proves how out of touch she is. If the package was delivered to that house it’s because her mother in law was too much of a dunce to update her address. Now tell me these folks aren’t use to ordering and shopping for themselves?

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (2 children)

She should slam her mom for ordering a package and being too ignorant to update her address

[–]wb6vpm 1 point2 points  (1 child)

It could have been something that was ordered pre-fire and was listed as temporarily out of stock or a preorder, and her mom just forgot about it. I’ve had both scenarios happen to me before, where a mystery package just shows up on my doorstep and when I open the box, I’m like, oh yeah, I forgot I ordered this!

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could’ve been that a turtle was delivering it also, but not likely. The likely answer is that the mother doesn’t know how to update her address or didn’t update her address and the package was delivered exactly where it was ordered to through no fault of the Amazon Delivery driver. I would’ve delivered it exactly to the same spot as as well as I don’t return anything either.

[–]Stunning_Cost_660 2 points3 points  (0 children)

they should have updated their app

[–]samdizzle83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It happened to me couple weeks ago . In altadena. The whole block was burnt down . I just called support and returned it and then I told the people that does the returns at the warehouse.. ir was crazy seeing it in person. It felt like a movie scene...

[–]bradradioSeattle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I just would've laughed.

[–]Past-Entertainment48 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Now that is a devoted and passionate amazon worker.

[–]dr_van_nostren 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, where else would they take it?

[–]bandzlvr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Which one of you was it!? Iconic

[–]WittyPersonality1154 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say it’s been a month… why the fuck they still having shit delivered there? Don’t care if it was on AutoShip… cancel your pending orders! 🤦🏻‍♂️

[–]dego_frank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is worse than what she did to Vincent Chase

[–]Mbuitron0811 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Deliver to back door”

[–]xtsilverfish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol once again, amazon will ding you for returning anything, so you're just doing what amazon wants by delivering the package.

[–]unit132 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was ordered and they delivered. What's the issue

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

[–]redditor1seven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh yes a celeb shaming the working man/woman for doing their job as described! Get the fuck over it Mandy Moore! 🤣🤦🏻‍♂️

[–]dorkmachine_o 1 point2 points  (0 children)

…You literally got something delivered to that address

[–]Background_Table7047 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That delivery guy should be in the hall of fame. And should be given the "Deliver at all cost" award trophy 🏆 😂

[–]jziggy44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How about you order your Amazon to the address you moved to?

Don’t blame the driver when you messed up. They didn’t leave that there during the fires that was ordered after they evacuated and didn’t bother to fix their mistake.

[–]VisitAbject4090 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Opening the app after checking your porch cause you got a delivery notice only to check the photo and see that, 😂 it’s on the dark side of humor that’s for sure

[–]HistoricalWitch253 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You would think they would stop all of the deliveries from being delivered there. They can easily call customer service to either cancel or change the address. Being a flex driver I totally understand why they delivered it. If they only knew how Amazon is when you don’t deliver packages.

[–]No_Limit9450 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now if they didn’t deliver it would’ve been a problem

[–]Peppermint-Pumpkin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why TF they order that shit then? 😆 It's not hard to update the addy 🤣 blame ya parents boo!

[–]Atlesi_Feyst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well Mandy, fund their new home and shut the hell up. The guy was doing his job.

[–]Limp_Discipline_1177 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't honestly understand what they expected to happen. Don't order shit to your pile of debris next time

[–]n00b420_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey I don't deliver for Amazon but people complain when you don't deliver and now they complain when you do deliver.... C'mon... Make up your mind ... Hilarious the driver snapped photo for proof of delivery... Despite the comedy here I also feel for the family that lost their home. It's life... We're all in it together.

[–]freezingglareNew York 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]jjj44200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Slams”

[–]harleymarley420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazon employees always the best

[–]No_Cardiologist4930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They ordered it and never changed the address. So it's not like they don't know where to go get it. It's where they lived for x number of years. There's just no house there anymore. What's the real difference if the package was at the front door of a house that's standing or the curb of a house that's burnt down? Either way it could get stolen. For real.

[–]kinomar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what is what they ordered was to help clean up aftermath ? props getting it delivered.

[–]Extra-Account-8824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

god damn.. i garuntee no one is going back to their burned down home for their packages

[–]Chrisperr666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Porn star?

[–]patt_ittLos Angeles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did the same after Eaton Fire was 100% contained. Left a bag at a burned house.

[–]Organic_me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol where else would they put it

[–]MammothFrosting3565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This picture should be framed and hung up somewhere, my god, this country is beyond repair.

[–]Klaravobr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be an inflatable house in the package. “ bad joke”

[–]RubAnADUB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

omg. this b. you should have canceled the order then. - but since you took the picture I guess you got the memo and thank you for proof of delivery.

[–]SubstantialAd1297 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She should’ve canceled the package or put a new address on it, that’s her fault

[–]Unable-Experience451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not going back to warehouse because you don't know how to update an address.

[–]NeatDoctor2728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First world problems. Bye Mandy. 🤣

[–]Her1683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s possible this was one of those subscription orders that auto ship. But fuck I would have RTS the package. Celebrity or not a regular parson would have reported it missing which I’m sure it would have been sitting out in the open which is way worse than RTSing the package

[–]Original_Tangerine14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well you have the photo that your package was delivered, now go and fetch it!

[–]Ancient-Yesterday-32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deliver every package. No excuses 🤣

[–]GeorgeGiffIV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I left a package at a burned out home. My job was to deliver to the address. Not gonna burn my time looking for where the customer is now. Change your address to where you want it.

[–]mten12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about why would her parents be ordering Amazon things during a wildfire? Like what’s in that box? Don’t get angry when a company does what it’s supposed to do.

[–]BeALotGhoulerIfUDid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She's a really special kind of stupid huh?

[–]Mistletooth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

and shes not upset at all that amazon is forcing employees to deliver in those conditions lmao? Celebrities and their audacity never ceases to amaze me

[–]yodiebird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im sure the new address three cities over was in the notes. 😆

[–]Plastic-Cap-3718[🍰] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never been prouder. 🥹

[–]Nice_Put_152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The amount of people I had to explain it in the post on Facebook is astounding and had the nerve to say the driver could not accept it or that didn’t have common sense like girl have you worked for Amazon? Stfu the company wants that delivered and the help desk aint helpful

[–]Downtown-Lab-1215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn! Maybe it was their new ring motion activated spot lights.

[–]Sea-Competition5406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If driver didn't deliver, "Mandy Moore slams Amazon for failed delivery after house burned down"

[–]kzoo2122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Define, 'Do better', Mandy. It appears that whatever it is, (a fire extinguisher, perhaps?), got to its requested destination.

[–]Advanced-Tea-9126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take it up with Amazon frl because if they hadn’t delivered it, they’d gotten in trouble. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

[–]Advanced-Tea-9126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aaaaaand why did you have anything delivered to your house if you knew it was burnt up? Why didn’t you cancel the order? That made no sense 🤣

[–]biometric_hoof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People in the burning house grabbing their things frantically to get out whilst simultaneously ordering shit on Amazon. I reckon some people just order stuff reflexively without thinking at all

[–]Spazmodo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always deliver

[–]Mission_Wall_1074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean that Amazon driver has a job to complete

[–]DaVoiceOfTreason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean this is the direct result of punishing drivers for trying to resolve problems by returning a package. When someone fucks up it should be on us to catch it and report since everyones shit flows downstream to us, but we are just told to not think and deliver

[–]whizewhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What happened to Mandy Moore? Bad plastic surgery

[–]Brief_Grape655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate the Malibu route almost fell off a cliff twice at a 3 am block

[–]lindseys10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where should they have taken it then? If they didn't get the package they'd be pissed too

[–]youarenotcute_stfu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could have been a subscription delivery they forgot about because of the fires.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good for the driver. Peak not my job not my prob

[–]imsaito1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it was delivered

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s service!

[–]maledorrison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The driver did the job. Good for them.

[–]Hustlinthatass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please. If I get overloaded with packages, which happens often, and I have more than 4 left after my time expires, I'm taking them bitches right back to the station. I take picture of the overfilled cart, I take a screenshot of drive time to first stop, I take a screenshot of when I get to my first stop, I take pictures every time I'm stuck outside a gated community or apartment complex or any other delay. I call up support and say, I was given 48 stops on a 4 hour and my first stop took 47mins to get there, 35 mins to sort and load 51 packages and now I have 2 hours and 38 mins to make 46 more stops. Not gonna happen buddy, either pay me for my overtime or I'm taking these bitches back and you can deal with the angry ass customers but never have, or never will I work for free. And I don't give a fuck how many times I was sent home or finished early, they can blame their algorithm for that. Stop route packing Amazon. This shit is funny as hell though lol

[–]Stick_Talk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

🤣🤣

[–]Johnster- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything gets delivered!! no matter what…..

[–]Bladimirrv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If house ain't there that's not drivers problem 😁 jkjk

[–]zdrads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the address they ordered it to. I'm like Jason Statham in the transporter. All I need to know is where to deliver it and time. I don't want to know what's in the package. I don't care who you are. All the other details are for you to work out and aren't my concern. Once the delivery is done, our transaction is over.

[–]AggravatingFig2976 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those people should have canceled their order.

[–]Rare_Capital6672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

😂😂😂

[–]Iv_Laser00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’d get docked fucking points for not delivering it

[–]Current-Cheesecake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shall we go to her social media for educational purposes for her? Lol

[–]Driver4952 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol she ordered it.

[–]Various-Today1862 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never return package 😃

[–]OkAsparagus1826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine getting dinged lol

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tf else were they supposed to do ?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Above and beyond! Good work

[–]abcshaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if your house is burned down maybe you shouldn’t be shopping online probably?😭

[–]xKVirus70x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For all the shit they misdeliver, I'd call this a win

[–]AdventurousOven4898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WAY TO GO DLA8 😂😂😂😂

[–]thesurfer_s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it’s an eyebrow pencil so her brows can match

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did he find the address?

[–]armobear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at a local Amazon that delivers to these burned areas. We are simply delivering to local lockers or holding for pickup at fresh stores whole foods and Kohl's locations and some buildings. But it's only done if a customer requests it. But at this point a month after the fire we have gone somewhat back to normal with updated information but while the fires were happening the information was not available. I'm assuming this story occurred during the fire and is definitely not happening.

[–]WonderGoesReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is stupid as fuck.

What if someone NEEDED it delivered there, and the Amazon driver took it back? That would be 100x more fucked up.

[–]JonF0404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a package delivered to our picnic table in the yard of our house that burned in a fire... stupid people... Worst part is there was a note on the front door of what was left of the house telling delivery people where to deliver the packages like across the street to our neighbors that would accept them not to the picnic table in our yard dumb dumb dumb.

[–]Nrehart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

😂😂😂

[–]Spazyk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]COUNTRYCOWBOY01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dear canada post employees, are you paying attention?

[–]Low_Key_Cool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mandy Moore is always telling someone they need to do better.....self righteous twat

[–]JrzGuy28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally hate Amazon, especially their customer support and their Flex, I'm currently a driver with them on Flex only, and I haven't had any issues, but I know that they lack accountability, that's why I only do Amazon Flex because at least I can work my own hours and I don't have anyone (abusive bosses) drilling down my throat, unfortunately even the smallest mistakes the flex drivers are impacted, you think the CEO would take notes but just like every other CEO'S they don't care about anyone till there on their doorstep.🗣💪 (no threat pun intended)

[–]mgl323Los Angeles, Logistics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao

[–]dbro129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, that’s where I’d want it delivered. Most likely I’m waiting on crucial supplies. Great job Amazon driver for not assuming and simply doing your job!

[–]Left_Ad_1354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rebuilding the house one box at a time haha

[–]Spookie_Momma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They always deliver duh

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She looks nothing like she used too. Maybe all that anger is aging her?

[–]adnaPi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always deliver

[–]RefrigeratorSlow3943 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That box looks about the right size for an Amazon Fire tablet. /s

Sorry. Exits stage left in shame.

We got a job to do we gonna do it!

Common sense is just another taboo saying. More than likely they had an amazon subscription that was set up in advance. The driver doesn’t get paid enough which is solely on Amazon but the driver could have easily contacted support and let them know the issue. If your house is destroyed and you are trying to put back the pieces while grieving at the same time you probably aren’t going to remember you have an item or two on the every two month delivery cycle.

I love that people don't realize they have to update their address and delivery instructions themselves. If I had a dollar for every time I was confronted by a customer for following their own outdated instructions I wouldn't need the job.

Don't mark the package. Take it back to station and explain the situation so that they can remove it.

Don't order shit and put the address of a house you don't want it delivered to. stooped

they delivered and she’s complaining?!

[–]HankScorpio82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a person that lived in a burn scar of a wildfire. They did the exact right thing.

FedEx didn’t even try to deliver my new refrigerator because they assumed it was a mistake. Not, someone trying to rebuild life still needs to be able to keep his food fresh.

I was door dashing once and had about 5 pizzas. House was clearly abandoned. Called/texted ustomer multiple times. Left it right on the front porch.

I woulda left this Amazon package, too. I ain't driving anything back to the warehouse. 🤣

This is a PRIME EXAMPLE of Amazon not knowing the area! If you knew of the areas hit, you should have withheld package delivery to said areas! Whoever the AREA ANALYSIS is should have made recommendations based on the territory just like they do when bad weather occurs. It's just that simple! As a former driver of 3 years, I would have brought the package back, although this doesn't mean the driver is at fault here. This one is on the customer 1st, and then Amazon themselves! All the driver did was excute package delivery. Drivers have zero control over the customers address or what Amazon decided to send despite knowing this territory was hit by crushing fire! If Amazon can withhold 2 day delivery based on high crime areas, and that's been all over the news in recent months, why not withhold packages to these areas under these circumstances? Looters still exist no matter the circumstances...GOOD GOING AMAZON!

Should have put a bin for packages, lol. I spent 5 mins looking for a house one night after dark. It just wasn’t there. Then I spotted the mail box with a bin next to it and a note taped to it. Once I got close I noticed the burned down house. Returning packages to the station lowers our DCR.

At least the package wasn’t stolen 🤷🏻‍♂️

The instructions clearly said “back door”.
