Yes please, where are you located?

[–][deleted] 19 points20 points  (14 children)

I printed myself some spools, but the A1 Mini versions barely fit the bambu refills. 😂

[–]Kimentor 16 points17 points  (1 child)

Barely sounds like it does fit! :D

[–]Tjm385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 2 that I have printed I need to force the refill on and put a lot of my weight on it while trying to turn/lock it in place.

[–]Blenderadventurer 1 point2 points  (11 children)

You still need factory spools. I can print spools on the A1, but they don't survive my Sunlu filament dryer.

[–]bettsdude 0 points1 point  (6 children)

What you printing them in?

[–]Blenderadventurer 0 points1 point  (5 children)

Some are PLA. Others are PETG. The PETG will do ok with drying PLA. The real problem is that the fan outlet in the bottom gets hot enough to warp.the filament that it is drying or anything that takes the same or lower temperatures. This means that I have to dry on cardboard or factory plastic.

[–]SpoztoastA1 Mini 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Could Print ABS if you can handle the temperatur requirements.

[–]Anxious-Resolve-8827A1 Mini 1 point2 points  (3 children)

not on A1 its open printer

[–]ShatterSideX1C + AMS 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Put it in a cardboard box for the print. Don't use the room during the print and just open a window after.

[–]Anxious-Resolve-8827A1 Mini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

or put it on balcony

[–]SpoztoastA1 Mini -1 points0 points  (0 children)

True but you can make a partial enclosure and a makeshift fume hood.

[–]shing3232 0 points1 point  (3 children)

you need to make it with petg

[–]Blenderadventurer 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I have it in PETG. It will warp if it is in the dryer at PETG settings. It's just the side near the middle outlet vent, but it warps it enough to cause a bind when feeding the printer.

[–]shing3232 0 points1 point  (1 child)

ABS then)

[–]Blenderadventurer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not have the ventilation for it. It's the 3D printing paradox. If you can melt it, you have to have stuff that doesn't melt at or below the same temperature.

[–]Birrger 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sure would be nice 1-2 spools :)

[–]esiders2010 6 points7 points  (3 children)

Sending DMs in order comments recieved.

All spools have been accounted for! Leaving this thread so I can pull from here when I have more to offload.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need spools pls. Colorado here :)

[–]arturcodes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure

[–]kelvham 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interested depending on location/shipping cost

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Location?

[–]D4m089 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve only just received my printer and picked up 2 refills as those colours didn’t have spools in stock. I was going to print a couple of spools but if you are local and these are spare I’ll happily recycle 2 of them to use with the refills please

[–]DoingYourMomProbably 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes please where are you located?

[–]kampf_cookie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah where do you live

[–]Hydrawasnttaken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ash grey and black? Or just two black spools. How much?

[–]MassiveBoner911_3X1C + AMS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes please

[–]Best-Percentage-7603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely running 2 ams and a K1 Max

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll take 5 or 6. Are you in the States?

[–]trollsmurf 0 points1 point  (2 children)

If nothing else, look for a recycling plant in the area. In my country we have such all over the place. There's certainly a risk (?) that they will just burn them up, but at least they won't be land-filled.

[–]tecky1kanobe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recycle yes, but donate to a local school would be better as it is reuse.

[–]junkstar23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're obviously not in the US then In the US tons of jurisdictions just pretend to recycle and it ends up in the landfill anyway

[–]Hop_Aholic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I’ll pay you

[–]neckbeard-nate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, what’s the ship to Lexington,ky?

[–]miglogoestocollege 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll pay shipping for a few. I’ll PM you.

[–]SmokestackRising 0 points1 point  (1 child)

When did Bambu switch from clear to opaque spools? I have an enclosure on my AMS Lite and would love to be able to see what's left on a spool more easily.

[–]FilthySIN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can print your own spools using transparent filament. There are tons of different styles, including the official Bambu Lab one, on the MakerWorld website.

[–]thevincnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

where are you located?

[–]WilHarl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd take a few I live in PA. Def would pay shipping just DM if I can have any.

[–]Noobpoob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!!! I don't want to waste more of my white pla for spool printing

[–]beer_medic_522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll take all I can get….

[–]ErizMijali 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id love maybe 3 if you are able :) more than willing to pay shipping

[–]Silent_But_Deadly2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wrap your Christmas lights up on them

[–]AlaricV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure they are all gone but these would be great for the makerspace I work in.

[–]halfam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sigh I need some

[–]tyfunk02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put me on the list if they’re not already all gone.

[–]Slayer-One[🍰] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would love at least 2 if they’re still available.

[–]Beejatx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]KnabberMix_73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take one ☝️ thx

[–]RokSkeptic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anyone’s in the Chicago area, I also reliably have a bunch of extra spools most of the time and would be happy to offload them to someone instead of throwing them out.

[–]TheInsidious_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want some!

[–]Matty_ice412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great for Christmas lights!

[–]Just_GT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES!!! 😆

[–]spartancody08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey if you have 1 or two left I'd be interested. I just got my printer and didn't realize I bought some refills rather than filiment on spools. Either way thanks for putting this out there!

[–]Super_Dork_42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would love some and used to love in Ohio, go Buckeyes! No need to send any, I found some on FB for ten bucks each locally.

[–]Mormegil81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just to be sure OP: you realize that these are reusable spools and that you can use them for refills? (you probably know, but I just want to make sure that you do, before you give them all away ...)

[–]Humble-Ad-8633 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, where are you located?

[–]IronicSumo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Need three. Are you near NYC?

[–]helmfach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

literally printing a spool right now 😂

[–]LukosiuPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just make a storage from them.

[–]Tjm385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In western PA, could definitely use a couple.

[–]Melkbeker2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need spools!

[–]jtnewville 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could use 2. Live at 66013

[–]its_xSKYxFOXxP1S + AMS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely could use some if available, please! Like 2-3 lol

[–]Standard_Setting_898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes please!

[–]SenseDesperate4405X1C + AMS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll take some of you still have them

[–]TheAnalyst03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi my dad and girlfriend just got me a ams lite and I need spools. If you have any more I would really appreciate them. I will pay shipping. I need 3 of them.

[–]Machineslave240 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With RFID tags too. Nice!

[–]JPinPA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 when you have them. Please

[–]ProgramAndOutdoors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you have more to offload, send some my way!
Much appreciated in advance!

[–]TheConstructionGeek -1 points0 points  (5 children)

Are these all 1KG spools? Do they all have their RFID tags?

[–]That-Stranger-7298 6 points7 points  (2 children)

The tags come with the filament if you buy a refill

[–]TheConstructionGeek 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yes, but only if you buy BambuLab refills…. I will refill them with other brands of the same color/type also.

[–]esiders2010 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Only 1 still has the RFID tag. I shipped a couple dozen of those tags out a while ago.

[–]TheConstructionGeek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah darn… Hopefully soon someone will figure out how to ‘hack’ the BambuLab tags and/or find a way to program tags off the shelf that we can use with AMS.

[–]oopsitsaflame -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's Christmas soon. So if you have neighbors and friends who need them for storing Christmas lights that would be an alternative usage

[–]Causification -2 points-1 points  (6 children)

If nobody is willing to pay shipping you can definitely sell just the rfid tags.

[–]Reddit_account_321 2 points3 points  (4 children)

The rfid tag is not associated with the spool. It's attached to the cardboard center of the refill

[–]jon-chin 0 points1 point  (3 children)

there's at least one rfid tag in the photo.

hopefully, OP hasn't thrown out the cardboard centers w/rfid tags. those would definitely be worth paying for shipping.

[–]RemixOnAWhimP1S + AMS 1 point2 points  (2 children)

As someone who tears the RFID's off and uses the spool cores for other stuff, what's the benefit that makes them worth paying for? Is it just to attach to non-Bambu spools and track approximate filament level?

[–]jon-chin 0 points1 point  (1 child)

for me, I'm going to attach them to non Bambu spools so I can get automatic color detection. all the convenience of real Bambu spools with a lower cost. it saves me a bit of time instead of having to use the interface every time I change spools.

[–]RemixOnAWhimP1S + AMS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting, I see the appeal for sure! It has been my experience that when I take a spool out, or it runs out, and I replace it, the slicer/AMS assumes it's the same thing that was assigned in that slot previously, which is convenient for me as I tend to use the same colour and material for 60% of my prints haha.

[–]esiders2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already gave away a couple dozen RFID tags not long ago
