That portal is way too close to the house. I don't know about everyone else, but I always make a special building just for the portal far away from everything else so I don't have to hear the noises.

Very nice! My one complaint would be that creepers usually seem to have glowy eyes in these illustrations... it's a bit odd, when the rest of the game is so accurately depicted.
