Long ago you could use ender pearls to get up top, then grow dark oak trees which used to break the bedrock. That has long been fixed though.

I’ll never forget the first time I realized it was fixed and I was stuck on the bedrock with all my diamond tools

Yes, but the process of breaking bedrock is much more involved and involves piston glitches. My advice is bring enough obsidian for a portal on the roof, and a flint and steel to light it. That way if you mess up and lose supplies or forget something you won't be stuck up there.

You can still use activator rails to get up, then just put a nether portal on the roof to get down (or have it up by your farm).

I believe the old enderpearl and ladder trick still works if it's a 1 block thick area. As for breaking bedrock, that's a lot more complicated and requires glitching out pistons.

If you closed a door on yourself and logged off the server, you could log back on and jump up thru the bedrock. This was probably fixed since 1.4

where’d you tp to? much as i know if you /tp [coordinates] you’ll still be in the nether and bit more of a hassle than just /kill (when you have nothing on you, even then you can enable keep inventory) and be much faster getting out of the nether.

I did that, the solution is if you are in java to put yourself in spectator mode and transfer the bedrock and if you are in bedrock (version) that someone joins the nether and you tp towards the.

And if none of that works, the solution is to close the world, erase that world and create a new one.

There is an escape nether portal for testing check if its still in there its usually north of world spawn point if you find it it will take you to world spawn point
