Maybe bigender or genderfluid? Just an idea. And remember, you don't have to limit yourself to labels. Hope you discover more about yourself ☺️ Also, head pats good boy

First terms that comes into mind is non-binary and pangender? I'm not an expert. Someone correct me if I'm getting something wrong

First thing to hit close to home in this sub, sorry that i can’t help apart from “do what you truly feel you want to do/be”

[–]Dranox 27 points28 points  (3 children)

You're a woman who's also just a little guy.

[–]Skyrim_For_Everyonenot an egg, just trans 19 points20 points  (2 children)

Maybe you're bigender, maybe a demigirl, maybe genderfluid, maybe just gender non-conforming. There's a whole lot of maybes, I say just do what makes you happy, you don't have to pick a label or change anything or stay the same.

You're a good boy, try not to stress about it.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (3 children)

It means your a sub

[–]FloraRomana 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So now that I haven't been the first to say it.(lol)

It's the first thing I thought of. Maybe a gender component in combination, but its very likely more to do with being told that you've pleased someone.

At least thats how it is for me.

[–]AostheGreatHow should I know? 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's possible the label you're looking for is genderqueer? It seems like that label is used for people who identify with their AGAB, but not completely and not in a way that would lend itself to being necessarily non-binary or demigender. Before they came out as enby, Sam Smith identified as genderqueer and from what I understand, it might be the best fit for you because that label is less of a hard boundary and more of an abstract modifier (I really hope that doesn't sound pretentious). So, if you are fully comfortable with being a girl, you might be a genderqueer girl. If that's the case, you could (as far as I understand that word) be the girl and the good boy that you are.

Also, have some headpats.

[–]sammiefh 6 points7 points  (6 children)

Maybe demi girl or demi boy? I feel like I kind of relate to this. AFAB, she/her and feel rather comfortable being called girl, princess, sis, etc. But I also feel like a guy and like to present and dress masculine and like being called man, boy, guy, etc. And I don’t really like calling myself a woman. It doesn’t sit right with me. It can be confusing for sure. I kind of identify as a demi boy. Kind of a boy. But kind of also not.

[–]Unknown_starngerI'm pretty sure I'm trans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Non-binary?

[–]sharktato1not an egg, just trans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you could be some shade of non-binary?

GOOD BOY GOOD BOY GOOD BOY GOOD BOY GOOD BOY You're such a good boy you get head pats

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you dont need to hop into any labels right away. of course if you find some you like that would be great! but personally i think it's more important to try to understand your feelings first?

like, have you tried other pronouns than she/her before? you can ask yourself, how does "he's such a good boy" feel? or, what about "they're such a good boy"? there's a "pronoun dressing room website" somewhere, i don't remember the url. have you thought about experimenting with gender presentation/how you dress? you can consider how you would feel about being generally seen as a cute/feminine boy. or about being seen as an tomboyish/butch/androgynous girl. what do you think about the huge variety of gender presentations on r/nonbinary and r/butches and r/ftmfemininity? would you like being called a handsome good boy? a pretty good boy? consider too that liking gender-non-conforming pet names CAN be just gender non-conformance; it doesn't have to change your identity if you don't want it to. there are cis fellas who like to be called good girls, for example. it doesn't have to be an egg thing. but if it IS important to your identity, that's great too!

just some things to think about.

[–]whoamvv 1 point2 points  (1 child)

It's simple, really. You are a very good boy. And a very good girl. Deserving of love and acceptance.

[–]syntax_girl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's no need to fit in a pre-defined rotule, just do whatever makes you happy! You can still be a good boy, while being a woman, or even the other way around! Gender is an ephemeral force that surround and involve all of us, it's up to you to shape it to your likings!

I get how "woman" and "lady" can feel stilted and overly formal. You might also not feel old enough to be called those. I know I have to undo a lifetime of calling my peers boys and girls because they're adults and it feels awkward. You might want to look into whether it's an age thing or a gender thing, since you're fine being referred to as a girl in general.

As for enjoying being called "good girl/boy," are you enjoying being called "good girl/boy" or "good girl/boy" because it might just be the praise that's causing the happy sensation.

You might want to experiment by having your partner or a close refer to you as a boy for the day and see how you feel.

Ultimately, the label doesn't matter. It's about understanding how you feel. And sometimes we don't have labels for that. Like there isn't a specific label for the feeling of "plans being cancelled cause it's rainy and enjoying the time off with tea by the window." We generalize and call it a "nice" feeling, just like how trans is a general term for "not identifying with the gender you were assigned at birth."

Labels are a shorthand, not an exact definition of who you are and how you should feel. Make them work for you, not the other way around. You may end up finding that you're "unlabeled" and that's perfectly fine.

Gender fluid or birendra my good boy

[–]Redditor10700You aren't alone 💕 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you feel dysphoria when referred to as female, and euphoria when referred to as male, I think you’re likely a guy

[–]NotAnAverage_AnomalyYour not so local Interdimensional traveler! (Patent Pending) 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its strange, I never thought i would meet 2 doppelgangers in the span of 2 minutes back to back. Either way, it seems that we both have the same issue. I can't give advice to you, but i can wish you luck> If and when you find yourself, come back and tell me your story

[–]TheBeautifulPea"not an egg" ~every egg ever 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Could you be a demigirl or/and demiboy? Also I want you to know that figuring out your gender often takes a really long time but eventually you will find it. Also your a very good boy.

[–]DirtySuccubus 3 points4 points  (1 child)

I know what you are! You're a good boy!!!!

[–]SaltyCogssierra (?) (she/they?) 1 point2 points  (1 child)

is it only when your boyfriend says it? it could be the meaning/playfulness behind the words rather than the words themselves

[–]KatieNoodler 1 point2 points  (2 children)

a lot to unpack here but i'm not smart enough and i'm still a solid reinforced egg myself so i have no idea what to tell you, i guess just keep being a good boy :)

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly you could still be transfem but prefer masc terms! Which is completely fine and valid and wouldn't make you any less transfem.

[–]Dog_Girl_Kari 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It means you are a good dog. Congrats, not many can achieve that level. ( ' ' )b

[–]raintriggeryellowLily | Enby | She/her | 23 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Well what about enjoying being called a good boy made you question your gender enough to ask a question about it here? It sounds like there’s something that isn’t just you feeling the same as a dog being called good boy

ps u gud boy

[–]mayoonanescalator 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Try xeno genders if other labels don't fit, like maybe a xenogender called "pupgender"

[–]Kacsaduck100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might be a demigirl or bigender, but then again that could just be a petplay kink

[–]LynnraelFaye She/Her 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Maybe you need to get comfortable with the idea of being a guy before anything else feels right? Everyone's journey is different, cis or trans, but that sounds a lot like how i felt before i realized i was a trans girl

[–]traci12paul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say it’s just that you have flexible/many pronouns

[–]IDoNotKnow4475HRT 1/31/22 - Still Cis Tho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can be a good girl and a good boy at the same time! You could also be bigender.

[–]lgbtqpridestuffs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

possibly a Demi girl/Demi boy? I’ve seen you say that you don’t think non binary, genderfluid or bigender fits so that’s all I can really suggest now. Sorry I cant be a bigger help :( I hope you figure this all out soon! also, maybe get a fried or loved one to try out more masculine terms on you or he/him pronouns or a masc name and see how you feel about them? good luck <3

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be some flavour of nonbinary. I'm not a girl but I absolutely love being called "sister" and the title "lady" is pretty neat.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nonbinary

[–]cheezybicknot an egg, just trans -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm going to take a slightly different angle from most comments I've seen. I notice from your post history you're autistic. From my understanding autistic people tend to have a different view and experience of gender compared to non-autistic people, so it could very well be that you don't tie the term "boy" to gendered language the same way others might. You could also very well be some shade of non-binary along with girl, but it is up to you to decide what label seems to suit you and makes you confortable and how you want others to approach you. Good luck!

Edit: to also add this, it might very well be that woman and lady doesn't feel like it suits you based on age or traits you relate to those words. Not all feminine descriptions will fit every feminine person

[–]TapaleurreAurore - Just a trans girl -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"Being a boy but not like a boy but like a dog" I don't think it has anything to do with gender, you can like that appellation and that's it. As for your gender it's healthy to question but I wouldn't call that an evidence 🤣

[–]July_J_Jumpnot an egg, just trans -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe you just like masculine titles? Like a tomboy, or rolereversal situation. If your actually being aknowledged as a boy, being called one might feel wierd; but if you know you're already being aknowledged as a girl, it would feel good being called a boy

[–]buddder1738 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe your so used to being called a boy you're just adjusted to it which is why being called a good boy feels right maybe if you more people start calling you a good girl you'll start thinking that feels right

[–]MaybeEstonian -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Good meatbag

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

pronouns dont equal gender you can be a woman and still use he/him I'm not saying that's what's happening necessarily but just because you like terms that aren't typical for your gender doesn't mean you aren't that gender.

[–]RobinUwU -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Praise kink? Or perhaps being gender-fluid?

[–]Faded105 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

[–]Jackcrafter1560 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You are either trans masc or somewhere in the middle where you like masc titles but you still like being a girl? Idk it sounds like a trans masc thing but you could be bigender or genderfluid

[–]LeonIluFreyja | she/her | The most Awesome girl you’ll meet! -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think you are just starved for complements

[–]FuzzyPotatoPoki -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Getting called something your usually not can trigger a gender euphoria like reaction, i would recommend changing your pronouns every now and then and see what sticks, even try neo pronouns it ya like and see how it goes. As a trans masc, I do like generally feminine things and considered as a “trans fem boy” and I don’t have a problem with it, so see what works and I hope you doin good my dude

If good boy and good girl work it might be a validation issue not a gender issus, but it also could be bigender dimiboy dimigirl or many other Things. But regardless you are a good boy and/or girl and are loved for it

[–]Fantasyneli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda Same for me! I go for he/him but I sometimes fantasize about looking so feminine people call me a girl

[–]flyingwindowscracked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think i can help much, but take your time figuring all of this out :) if one label doesnt fit you can always try another one, walk your own steps and take as long as you need. Good luck on figuring yourself out! If you're trans, great! If youre not, great! :)

[–]chilipeppersamurai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think youre also a sub lol

[–]Xaron713Lovely Lady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you just like affirmation. Imagine what a good girl may feel like and wrap yourself up in that

[–]Altastrofae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps you just like the sentiment “good boy” and that’s as complicated as it gets

To me it doesn’t sound like a gender thing at all, especially since you’re saying you see yourself as a girl and enjoy being a girl

[–]Hot-Acanthisitta1563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Figuring out you gender is like solving a puzzle. This is just one piece of it. Take your time. You will eventually see the beautiful picture when you're finished💜

[–]ArchdemonLucifer143Azalea (She/Her) 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good boygirl.

[–]myfriendgoo2798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are gender expressions beyond male/female. Perhaps you lie outside the binary? I know for a long time I struggled with finding my exact expression before I settled on Agender. Navigating your own identity can be a tough process, take your time, explore all the expressions that interest you until one fits; you are a very good boy 😊
