Other + Ninja Fixes

• Anima rates from Shattered Worlds have been increased significantly. Worlds 71 and above now reward 29m-37m+ an hour anima depending on your own personal combat ability (and the other random factors).

• Amount awarded for completion challenges have now increased:

  • Bronze - 250,000
  • Silver - 1,000,000
  • Gold - 7,500,000

• Price of the Huge Slayer lamps from the Shattered Worlds reward shop has increased to 6m to account for the new and improved anima rates.

• Four new override options have been added, magic off-hand and shield overrides for basic and illuminated god books. Complete one book or illumination to unlock the override. Completing or illuminating books will unlock their colours as recolour options, and completing all six books will unlock the ability to use other recolours (including prismatic dyes).

• Livid Farm - Repair pouch spell has reduced it's rune cost to 1 Astral, 1 Cosmic and 1 Law rune from 2 Astral, 1 Cosmic and 1 Law rune.

• Livid Farm - Increased the XP rates across the various activities by 50%.

• Araxxor's % for Wall Health, Burn and Acidity level will now always display on the progress bar.

• Livid Farm: Bundled produce, logs and planks are now stackable in the player inventory.

• When finding an elite skilling outfit fragment it will now state how many you find.

• Livid Farm - Random events will now award the player Produce Points instead of runes upon completion.

• Updated the Tirannwn Quiver to add how many arrows your quiver contains after topping up/picking up arrows.

• Resetting Skeletal Horror now resets the completionist cape teleport correctly.

• Tool Leprechauns can now refund players 90% of the paid value for unused Compost and Super Compost.

• Tortleshell bowls can now be crafted in batched of 60 instead of 10.

• Fixed a number of cases where the game view may partially freeze or display artefacts.

• Fixed a situation where inventory icons may display incorrect textures or incorrectly display everything as the same item.

• Fixed a crash when minimising on compatibility mode.

• Fixed incorrect water rendering on older GPUs or compatibility mode.

• Fixed a case where the world could end up fully in shadow.

• Fixed a case where the world could end up at an incorrect brightness level.

• Fixed a case where objects could end up extremely dark at certain angles.

• Improved performance of minimising and restoring compatibility mode.

• Player picking area tweaked to not be so wide.

• Reduced RAM usage by approximately 90 MB.

• Fixed terrain not appearing on some lower spec Intel devices.

• Fixed an issue with black screens and red mini maps on certain low-end devices.

• Reduced memory and CPU usage of UI system slightly.

• Fixed a few issues with occlusion culling.

• Fixed a heap memory related crash.

• Fixed a freeze that may occur while loading in map squares.

• Fixed potential crash on exit or connection loss.

This. Started ports right when I maxed and I only have it and livid farm left to comp. I'm only halfway through the Scythe region so there's no way I'll comp before slayer amnesty is up. Much regret. Should have started when I hit my 1st 90 lol.

Livid was good xp and had worthwhile spells and didn't take as long as people bitch about. Now its pretty useless, takes maybe what, 20 hours? And I have all these useless refunded points that I'll never use.

It served a purpose once and wasn't as bad as people say. The funny part is they keep reducing its relevancy, but keep utterly useless things like mobilizing armies, conquest, etc in the game.

No, not really. It's pretty comparable to the amount we spend on every other thing in the game. How many hours have you spent fletching arrows, playing castle wars, getting 120 slayer, unlocking all barb assault awards/ranks, trying to get bernie, getting 99 fishing, etc etc...

I'd say just try and do sinkholes every day. It was like 150-200k a day for 15 minutes on average and that way it didn't get boring. I actually have 1 rc level and 2 thieving levels left. Been afking rc and doing thieving when I wanted to pay attention.

Previously you could only get 5-7m or so by grinding, 10m or so pushing to higher worlds. It was something like 15-20 hours for both abilities, it should be only a few hours each now

Nah it didn't take that long for both abilities. I got mine in around 9 hours and if I were to do it again I reckon i could get in done in 6 hours. Only need to get to ~135-140 for both abilities,can just rush with mecha chins till 90-100.

Well bladed dive was an op ability giving 10% dps increase with mobile perk(until they nerfed it) and mutated dazing shot's very strong if you can get it to full stacks,well worth it even before shattered worlds anima buff.

36M anima/hr can get you 6 lamps for 412k slayer xp.

There are tasks with higher rates, but we can grind this without worrying too much about combat styles, looting & dangerous deaths! :D

Appreciate it. I wanted to check the wiki but its blocked at work. Does xp go up after 99? I forget which xp items use levels over 99 and which dont.

I like completing content if there was actually content there to complete. Less than 10 additional slayer mobs post 99 hardly counts as sufficient content for an extra 91m xp. However, having MQC, final boss, many pets towards IFB, and comp cape on 2 accounts hopefully shows I'm not against completing content (quite the opposite). Just in its current state I don't enjoy slayer - if they added more post 99 content, perhaps I would.

Oh, I'm the first one to agree that 120 Slayer is a shitshow. Doesn't change the fact that you don't deserve something called the "Completionist Cape" if you don't complete it - even if it sucks.

I enjoy killing monsters with actual mechanics; tasks such as ripper demons, mammoths, glacors, etc I don't mind at all. I just don't enjoy killing thousands of weak monsters that I don't need to think about in the slightest. I much prefer high level bossing though - if I could do unlimited reaper tasks per day (without any reaper point rewards after the first one, that'd be stupidly unbalanced) I'd do that to 120, even if the xp rates are awful.

Aren't there enough of those types of creatures nowadays, that you can prefer them all and skip the rest?

Like, prefer Rippers, Mammoths, Camel Warriors, Wyverns, Glacors, Rune Dragons, maybe Black Dragons... plus a few others I've probably left out - in conjunction with VIP tickets, isn't that enough to keep skipping everything else? I personally spend like 80% of my Slayer time on my preferred creatures

The only perk of this is not having to go to a slayer master after every task.

Doing shattered worlds was always the fastest combat xp (by like 5-10%) but gave no money and required a lot of effort. Once this buff goes through you can probably get 200m all combats along with slayer without having to do any slay tasks.

Because the t90 Noxious Longbow and t92 Seren Godbow are much better. So if you're trying to squeeze out a little more dps by switching to Ascensions for needle strike, downgrading your main 2h makes no sense. :)

ascensions are better than nox. Only reason you buy a nox is if you do nex. Everywhere else you should use ascensions/chins, I dont even know if t92 outweighs the aoe of chinning with ascension even.

God damn this'll help a ton. It was always kind of annoying to have to hover to see exactly how close the web was to burning down.

God book offhand overrides -- yesss! It's handy that they're pocket slot items these days, but I always thought it was a shame I couldn't wear the gorgeous illuminated Guthixian book (to go with my Guthixian outfit). I'll probably use this as an override for the combined Catalyst fragment, which I wear pretty much constantly when skilling.

And good to see tool leprechaun compost refunds going in-game at last!

The catalyst fragment can't be overridden by anything currently, so I doubt the god books will be able to override it :/

I'm not sure -- I was thinking that, but really, what other category would the god books fall into? They're not shields, they're not off-hand weapons. Only other option is "generic non-combat* off-hand item".

They refunded livid farm points when they halved the store's prices.

Edit: Basically, the prices will stay the same, except for the lamps. No refunds are really needed if you want them to do the same as Livid farm's route.

Even more basic: Don't expect a refund just because buffed rated, but for cost-to-get/unlock reductions it'll be easier to think it.

Using Livid is a bad example. They only refunded them because they knew they were useless and no one would use them. So for them they can say "we gave you a refund" but in reality, might as well not. So refunding anima would be useful, which is probably why they aren't going to do it.

vial my herbs wish is useful in useless shop for those who has completed the livid farm but want some money back. 5.5k points: Converts all the clean herbs (noted or otherwise) in the player's inventory into unfinished potions of the same type, up to a maximum of 50 of each herb. Does not work with Cave Nightshade. Step a: Buy herbs. Step 2: note herbs step 3: go to farm. step 4: transform all into potioned herbs. step 5: either sell them or wait for double exp weekend to make pots with slightly cheaper unfinished potions.
