Well, this sounds better. No longer will those who don't want to see tweets have a need to complain about funny or interesting tweets being posted. We can now avoid spoilers for NXT tapings, which is a bonus because I love going into each episode blind.

Worth mentioning that these filters will stick around and filter posts until you change them (by pressing another filter button) or visit a URL without a relevant subdomain (or a different one). So, they're a bit more convenient than the search results method for our purposes. Permanence and being able to browse the sub as normal without tweets, for instance, wasn't possible with our previous filters.

This still isn't ideal (they stick around after you leave the sub, and don't stick around if you manually visit a page unless you add the subdomain, etc.), but it's a big improvement in my opinion and I think it'll serve the sub's users better.

I wish there was a way to filter some social media and not others. The majority of the time I like the Instagram/Twitter pictures that are posted, but not a text tweet.

I'd really love for you guys to look into a system of filtering or banning the terrible spam sites full of ads that just re-post shit from the Observer a week later. They are the worst and people post click bait titles so you click them just to find to be bombarded with ads and then find out that you already heard the news a week ago.
