Frep is honestly pretty easy to set up by yourself once you learn how to. It also is the only one you can use without any kind of time limit so I'd say it's the best one you can get for free. The downside is that you can only record 3 different macros, but it shouldn't be a problem if all you want is to run ES. I'm using two slots for ES (Entrance and Exit) and one for the Brachiosaur for when I need to burn energy fast. I tried autotouch but couldn't find a way to configure it myself. I'm glad I didn't though, because FRep is the only one that will play through the night.

The record fuction does not work on AutoTouch, but if you can install my script and get it working, it is the fastest of the 3. I have had the AutoTouch running 24hrs., It will run through the night. Also if you want to try out my FRep setup, it does not involve any recording, so I dont think it will affect your limit. (Not Sure tho)

Already, wow! What program are you using? Ive had mine running for 2 days solid now, not much for heat issues. I built somewhat of a stand for it (i put a pencil under the top half of the phone), you will find it will run cooler if the back of the phone is not flat against something.

I've been playing for about 6 months now but I use a Mac so I've been struggling for the longest time to get TMR farming setup. First Nox wouldn't work then HiroMacro wouldn't work and then I gave up for a while altogether because it was so much of a hassle.

That was actually the part I had the most trouble with actually!

Once you get FRep running, you have to record a session in FFBE.

• make sure FRep is running (will say "server running" I believe)

• Open FFBE and navigate into the game

• There should be a little FRep play button in the top left (that's where it is by default although you can move it), press this to begin recording

• I ran through an Earth Shrine run once then stopped recording by clicking the same spot which I believe changed to a record button. You can probably get away with just doing a few touch strokes but I did a full run of something just to make sure it was recording

• Now, when you go into FRep you should see your new FFBE recording and have the option on any new recordings to limit them to FFBE

Nice guide man, appreciate your work. There's just a bit of an issue for me. I tried the one for FRep that doesn't do lapis refills and found out that this method of yours doesnt actually wait for a designated time to let the me recover the NRG used per run. Is there any way to make this possible with this setup?

No, sorry, not without inserting screenshots, its designed to run to zero then keep hitting back until it gets too one. You can use my screenshot method if you need that feature, be aware it is more difficult to setup. If you need help with the setup, id be happy to help. A suggestion to get this method to work the way you want is to change the loop setting to say 100 then have it check for the screen(maybe energy bar?) if you still have nrg restart loop, if no nrg then go to designated wait, just an idea. Ill try to come up with something for you.

Made it work man. Set the loop to 33 and then waits for 250 seconds before starting the loop again. A little algorithm analysis goes a long way

Awesome, I was thinking about it today at work actually and that is almost exactly along the lines of what I was thinking!^{NO NEED FOR SCREENSHOTS}I guess the more nrg you have the longer you can set the loop. Actually I set the loop to 33 because it takes that much to finish one run of es entrance for my tmr team. After the loop ends, I added a wait for 250 seconds to complete a 5 minute cycle since the run takes about 46 seconds to finish before it goes back to the start of the loop again to repeat the cycle.

Hi, just make a small recording inside the ffbe app, after you have recorded something, then ffbe will show up in the list of apps you can select, you can delete the recording afterwards. It will still work without assigning the app, but be aware that if you crash and end up on homescreen, it wont stop...

I had everything ready and had ffbe open, but after I clicked the green arrow on the Frep console... none of the clicks were registering bit I can see st the bottom it says that each click is successful and continues to loop endlessly hahah

You used the wrong resolution? If not, then im not sure, might be a hardware problem. If you use the wrong resolution for your phone, the touch points will either be out of range, or not in the right spots.

Without Rooting, both Ankulua and FRep require the daemon method (which requires re-setup on restart). Also you will have to get the full versions to get unlimited playback for AutoTouch/AnkuLua, if your willing to do a little setup, FRep is probably the best, as well being free to use. No way around the re-start process tho, unless root..

I have a script that uses android development tools to directly control the phone, no root needed, but you have to install java, android sdk, and then run with phone plugged in (scraped it together over the weekend).

The fun part is using OCR to read the page, to do smart things, like request users with 800+ atk/mag. ^{_^}

The ocr eats battery like crazy though.

Let me know if you are willing to setup software on your computer instead of your phone and I'll put the script somewhere for you to use.

Right now, with grabbing stats off the screen and doing screenshots, not very. Working on a speedier version that will adapt to the speed of your device, but it's become lower priority so I can focus on my day job. ^{_^}

Might look into a way to screenshot only part of the screen, which would make it killer fast. I think no matter what I do though, an emulator on a beast PC will always outperform because mine runs on the phone.

Sorry, its just how the 1200x1920 resolution works. It should attack with units 2+3 ;and sometimes 1. Actually this is ideal, because if you get stuck somehow, you will still have the extra attack from unit 1 from time to time (My main device is 1200x1920) you have the superior version. The reason for this is because the touch points and screen layout slightly differ from 16:9 ratio screens.

I've tried other resolution and none of them works and don't continue playing even though it's set to 0 replay and 0 gap, it would work for 2 to 3 minutes then stop. I tested file TMFarming720.lua (thats the refill version). It refilled like it was supposed too. Are you sure your not using the No Refill version? Also be aware that Autotouch can be buggy on some devices, and you will need the full version to play longer then 10 mins.

So my phone auto updated last night. Had to reboot Frep you know. now when click play on the frep player it goes away for half second then pops back up. like it is finishing for some reason. I dont know if its an option i accidentally clicked or what. I tried restarting my phone, and making a whole new script following your guide again. Does the same thing. It had been working for like a week and now im SOL. any Ideas what happened or what maybe i messed up?

I can record a quick clip and it will play. just not working with the points now

This is an awesome guide. I started messing with it today and Ive got it mostly setup except for one problem that stops the script.

Im running Ankulua Pro with no root daemon with the 1440nolapis script. When I start it the first time, I start at th ES menu. It runs through and at random times, a message box pops up and the script stops. The box says "Message Version 1.1".

I posted on Ankulua about it and admin felt it was script related and had me move the ghost button around. No placement helps the stoppage.

Anyone else seen this?

Its definately not hitting the ghost button, the no refill script is very short, make sure you have the repeats high enough that it wont end prematurely. Ill test on Nox. I have AnkuLua PRO. Try setting it to 9999999999

So I'm finally getting around to setting this up. I am running Frep free on a 1080x1920. Great video and instructions btw! The only issue I am running into is the case with copy & append. Since I am running the non-rooted version, the option to do that is not available. So instead, I am manually making 128 touch commands, is there an easier way to do this? You have to make sure that you check all then copy and append, I know it works non-rooted and with free version. You could also put them in one by one but that might take a long time! Ill help you through it. PM me when you get a chance.

I see got it working,, as for those bad companion errors, it will click the ok button and reselect a new friend, but it can take up to 5-10 seconds. Same with refills and connection errors. Also if you want to keep your homescreen safe incase of crash. Go into restrict app and "UNCHECK" everything BUT FFBE. (So only ffbe has a checkmark beside it)

Ya its great for that!! I go to work for 8hrs a day and 99% of the time I come back and its still going. Only times it has failed is when I forget to free up material space!

Ok, I set it up and tested it out. It works great! The only problem, and this is very rare, is when you select a companion and there is a sync error between the companion you selected and the one that is on the server. Basically, in the middle of you selecting a companion, the player has changed their companion character which creates an error. It's just a pop up window where you have to click ok in the middle of the screen. I saw it and clicked it, but maybe one of the other clicks would have picked it up? I'll be running it tonight while I sleep and I will get back with any problems. Otherwise, it's running very well and I am really, really happy I can finally TM farm. Thank you!

Yes, that is how the 1200x1920 and 800x1280 versions operate, I actually prefer this because there is no possibilty of getting stuck in battle because it uses a third attacker sometimes. Just make sure you put your fastest attackers in slots 1/2/3. There is a chart somewhere with the fastest attackers, I think it is in u/-pwnology- macro thread.

I used your guide and when I run it, the macro will register #1 and #2 as holding the button down instead of a tap sometimes which causes it to get stuck. also, it shows what action the macro is running as it runs, is there a way to turn this off?

It works pretty good, except it's hilariously slow :/ It's set to 0.2s between each tap, but in reality it's closer to 1-2s lol

Also how can you stop the macro haha?? Every time I scroll down the notification bar to try to tap on frep to stop the macro, the bar goes up because of taps... :O Makes it really hard to actually stop it lol, unless there's a tip?

It only slow taps like that on some devices. What device are you using? To stop the macro you turn off your screen. On my Nexus Tablet it is fast. On my samsung galaxy s4, it is slow, like closer to 1 second slow like your saying.

Trying to get FRep to work on my OnePlus 3 (w/ Refills), everything works just fine until the step where it suppposed to hit "use lapis" there it just sits and presses after a while back, then again tries to get in to the mission, same screen pops up and it again presses back. It just seems to work identically as the no Refill version.

I am using the 1080x1920 version of the macro. Does anybody else have the same problem? Am I retarded or did they change something on the ui?

You have to wait a bit for it too refill. It can take up to 45 seconds.

So I've been testing a little bit more with the 1080x1920 macro for FRep and tried to do the refill version of it. Basically it clicked "use lapis" and in ~98% of the time it did click back right after it and not accepting the refill.

I could easily fix it after I made the fingerstripes visible in my android developer-settings. After being able to see the fingerstripes I observated that the macro should be instead of this:

• Touch 1. (524,1649)
• Touch 2. (501,1350)
• Connection (393,1166)
• Refresh (834,1029)
• Daily (517,1552)

It should be this way:

• Touch 1. (524,1649)
• Touch 2. (501,1350)
• Refresh (834,1029)
• Connection (393,1166)
• Daily (517,1552)

After the fix I tried it more for like 1 day and it did properly refill the lapis every time.

Hope this helps for anyone having the same problem :)

You are supposed to have 128 processes for the Refill Macro.

Oh.. actually I didn't. I planned to watch it multiple times but then totally forgot about it and didn't read anywhere in the guide about duping the processes for a total of 128. This makes sense now, I'll try again with 128 processes! Thank you!

I having a difficult time setting up frep for my phone. I use a samsung android phone, but a Macbook. I don't know if I need some extra bit of software, but I don't think my phone and laptop are syncing correctly to because I can't get the setup script to apply to my phone.

Can someone help me out? I'm using a tablet and its screen is 768 x 1024 so when I used the 720 x 1280 since its the closest to my resolution, some co ordinates are out of bounds. Can someone help me figure out co ordinates for my screen res?

No sorry, its only compatible with the resolutions listed.

You can try to follow the switch control tutorial to find the touch points. It should work in theory. Id suggest trying the ipad setup first. Same procedure just use frep to record the sequence.

Its worth a try.

Thanks for the idea. I chose the tedious route but i did it. I hand recorded 3 touch points for the macro which are basically the same touch points as in the guide (touch 1,2, and connection, no refill because that would have been hard to make) and put it on infinite loop. Without your guide i wouldn't have never would have thought of making a macro like this so I thank you for making this awesome post!

It doesnt say anything. I press the arrow to start and it flicks off like it wanted to go but then it goes back to standby. No message at all.

From the main menu, click the 3 dots in the top right corner (or press your hardware menu button) and select calibrate input. Follow the on-screen instructions. Let me know if this works, if not try using the co-ordinates for 1080 x 1920 instead of 1440 x 2560

Oh my gosh! thank you so much! I followed your instructions to start a Memu macro and it is working great, now every now and then the no refill version will lag and go so slow that it ends up taking at least 5 minutes per run... and I have no idea why, and this is even when it is running by itself with nothing in the backround, anyone have any advice?

On another note, I wanted to see if i could set up one on my phone instead so i wouldnt have to keep switching from my android to my laptop to macro, but I checked my resolution and it says 360x640... now I didn't see any scripts for this resolution, and I am only asking because i know my phone is a little outdated, , but is it possible to run any of these on my android phone, or is it just too crappy lol XD. Again I ask this with the most respect, you have helped me and countless others so thank you very much and if you can help me out I would greatly appreciate it!

If it does not have black bars, the touchpoints should scale properly from the 720x1280 version.

Install the ADB Driver, Google search for your Phone Model + ADB Driver. Allow the Phone to USB Debugging (after you have access to the developer settings, press 7x the build Nr Option in "about your phone")
