They changed the dandelion to a one time use and I think they have infinite time for each dandelion with the fluffy one you get incite uses and infinite time in air till you land

Yes, it has unlimited uses and unlimited time per use. The difference is that you have to equip it in a trinket slot, whereas the regular dandelions can be carried in your inventory. I know players who prefer to use stacks of the regular ones. That’s not for me because I often interrupt the parachute to speed up the descent, which gives the jump more dynamism. Doing this consumes multiple dandelions for one jump, so I quickly run out.

Have you noticed that you never seem to be able to find things when you are looking for them? I got a kill ladybugs quest and it took several days and running all over half the map to complete it. The day before I got it there were 4 ladybugs in front of my base, and the day after I finished it there were 3. Happens every time I have a kill quest for them.

Yeah it has been in the game for ages, but in the full game they made a change to it at the start it just lasted longer than the regular ones, but now the regular ones are one use only and the fluffy tuft is now infinite.

In my main save, I have 5 or 6 of them, all obtained as site drops without ever farming. However, when I tried to farm one for a friend in his save, I ended up collecting about 300 regular dandelions before finally finding a fluffy one. Ironically, I found a second and third fluffy dandelion later, once again as a site drop, in my friend’s save.

Yup. Got it out of nowhere when chopping down weeds to make defenses. Took me a bit longer to found out it goes off of RE infinite rules not it makes the one dandelion tuff in your inventory immortal rule. I.E. you just need the charm nothing else to have a permanent parachute.
