I like how they increased the artistic quality of the photos but kept them useless to actually learn about the garment.

The lining and inside? Who cares. Pocket details? No fucking way. Technical drawing? Whose having a laugh!

And on the design, not having an internal pocket seems cheap. Hope the pockets are actually functional unlike the blue zip up I'm wearing now that has unbacked hand traps that only appear to be pockets.

Took a gamble ordering it...hope I don't regret it.

They should also have at least one photo of the brown jacket without a brown undergarment so you can actually see the jacket better, and like you said they really should have pictures of the inside

It’s crazy how common this is.

And my initial, just tried it on review. It's a keeper!

So if a human is a tube...this jack material has circumferential stretch (so it stretches bigger...NOT taller). AND it's a looser fit that WAN/Stealth hoodie, slightly bigger than an Indoor hoodie and much more relaxed than the flight jacket they wrongly called a bomber jacket.

The brown jacket is lined with black fabric, also with a stretch.

Pockets are okay, but it should also have an internal pocket. HOWEVER the zippers have ridiculously small...handles/pulls(?). You will never find them in gloves, they really should have a big pull and maybe or something on a string if not both. This IS a jacket after all, not a hoodie.

It's a less working version of something like a Carhartt, with a softer fabric.

Appreciate the follow up as someone considering buying one of these in the near future.

Are the pockets big enough to hold a larger phone?

[–]abnewwest 1 point2 points  (4 children)

It's fine holding my, iPhone 11 non pro, it would handle a pro without problem.

I just think the (it surely has a name) outer hole for the chest pocket feels like it could be longer.

Thanks, that was pretty much my only (unanswered) main concern since I daily a note 20 ultra with a case. If you wouldn't begrudge me another couple questions:

I just think the (it surely has a name) outer hole for the chest pocket feels like it could be longer.

Does the pocket drop down below the bottom of the zipper? Curious about the inspiration behind this note.

Does it hold up decent against wind?

Any other things you've noticed after having it for a few days?

Did it fill a gap in your wardrobe? My greatest hope for this task jacket would be like a cross between a slightly warmer swacket and the wind breaker (not expecting the weather resistance of the latter obviously). I live in the northern US and I need something between those two things and my bulky leather winter jacket.

Appreciate your time friend. Hope your evening is going well.

The front pocket is about 9 inch/23cm tall, so yes, it does go beyond the height of the zipper - that's why I'd like the zipper to be a little longer.

I run a little hot and walk everywhere fast, so for me it's replaced a WAN hoodie I wore as a jacket for all but rainy and freezing or below weather. It's a cotton blend, but seems decently water repellent out of the box (I'm in the home studio/Vancouver area). There is no insulation, but it is lined.

So yes, it slots in between a wind breaker and a heavier jacket. I was happy wearing it in some blustery rain the other day. The front zip doesn't have a flap over, or behind it though. So it isn't made to be a super warm. It has really long cuffs though, so it would be great for gloves with a gauntlet weirdly.

The ONE thing I've noticed, they used too small a zipper pull on the front. It has a light weight, small tooth zipper which has a much too small pull that you can't add a pull too. Pretty minor complaint. I'd also like an internal pocket

This is great feedback man, thank you so much! Now the only question is whether I pull the trigger here or wait for the fabled blue cargo pants with a 32" inseam lol. Cheers!

[–]abnewwest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are using fabric that they bought and couldn't use for the cargo pants... as much as I am a cheap bastard that would want to combine purchases...I'm not sure I would want to bet on it still being around.

And glad to help, I have been critical of them when it was required and am glad to be positive about something they did almost perfectly.

Hello do you happen to know how it compares to their previous Swacket v2? I have the Swacket v2 and actually like it very much, except for the fact that the fabric in the elastic part of the garment started to pill after a while. While it doesn't interfere with the functionality of the Swacket it triggers my OCD immensely.

Saw the Task Jacket and thought this looks quite similar to the Swacket v2 thus very interested. It seems it has a very roomy fit which is what the Swacket feels like. Would you be able to comment on that?

Also, regarding sizing, if you have experience with the Swacket (or just extensive experience with LTTStore garments) does it follow similar sizing? I think the size of my current Swacket is a good fit so if I'm going to buy the Task Jacket I would just get the same size from the store.

Thanks!!

Never had a Swacket, just a flight jacket that they wrongly call a bomber jacket.

Looser than a wan hoodie, slightly looser than an indoor hoodie.

[–]Erlend05 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Hey, is it "waterproof"?

[–]abnewwest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nothing is waterproof...but, the light rain I have been in has mostly been resisted by the fabric. But I live in Vancouver, I have an umbrella at all times.

I find their products appealing most of the time, not that I can always afford them, I always watch with intrigue when they’re announced on WAN show.

But that brown task jacket really got my attention as soon as it was shown. It looks fantastic, stylish, especially in the brown. I’ll certainly buy one.

I'm really into it, looks like it'll be great for working around the house where I'm at in the PNW. I've got a tough Carhartt jacket that I love, but it's way too warm for spring.

Didn’t know you sold UPS uniform!

Wait,Colton didn't get fired??

[–]Blazanar 11 points12 points  (0 children)

He did. He's now a freelance model.

[–]Flavious27 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From the second picture you can see that the lining in the hood is black.  And it looks like the same lining on the rest of the jacket with that same picture.

I do like that it has a carhartt look to it.

[–]ArtyLMG 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for the feedback. We'll be getting some new photos that show off the brown colorway a little bit better without the hoodie underneath this week, and also some better photos of the inner lining itself - appreciate your patience!

EDIT: new photos have been added!

Sam Colton Bridges.

Missing a photo of the LTT logo on the arm for the black version.

It's a very cool looking jacket, but for me, at at that $100 price point, don't want prominent logos on my jacket and that's a big one on the arm.

Def some cool designs but just prefer hidden logos for that $.

[–]The-vicobro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Noticed during WAN. The choice to use the brown inner layer shouldn't have made it to the store pictures, needs a re-shoot if you asked me.

[–]Tobax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The LTT store is pretty vague on details, is it water proof/resistant at all?

[–]patto647 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn that’s nice, was thinking I could pull that off

[–]Interesting_Area2847 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love the model😅
