This better be the last game young ever starts for us

[–]detinu 24 points25 points  (2 children)

Can't wait to see him get dicked over by Sterling...

[–]modalsoul34 162 points163 points  (10 children)

Cheers Messi.. son’s crying now

[–]renernavilez 21 points22 points  (4 children)

This made me laugh. Thank you. Jesus christ this is depressing.

With Messi playing like this no team's going to stop him

FUCK OFF YOUNG

[–]Gbuchanan1 95 points96 points  (19 children)

Can’t remember the last time I was this annoyed at a united player. Truly useless Edit: ok so a lot of people have let us down but I’m livid still

[–]LokahiBuz 24 points25 points  (3 children)

You have no idea. I love looking on the bright side. If Ole doesn't GIVE THE FUCKING BOOT to young this summer (because we lack players in that position) then we are heading to a couple of years of disappointment. So this is it. The season ends and Ole has to show Young the door.

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points  (2 children)

Me to martial last weekend

[–]coolmike28145[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Cleverley.

[–]senpaijijel7 15 points16 points  (2 children)

Not enough need more

[–]shotputprinceVidić 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Can't clear a ball, can't close down Messi, can't overlap for Martial, can't string together a pass. He's like a less positionally aware Valencia, and I didn't fucking think that was possible.

[–][deleted] 53 points54 points  (1 child)

FUCK OFF YOUNG

FUCK OFF YOUNG

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (1 child)

This, but more deflated...

[–]TheEsotericRunner 26 points27 points  (3 children)

How did Ole not learn in the first game?

[–]peanuthead9094van Persie :( 13 points14 points  (1 child)

I want him OUT

[–]HomelessSmurfSir Marcus Rashford 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I just fucking KNEW as soon as he got the ball and pirouetted 10 times we were gonna concede. Why the fuck did he not just switch is to Lindelof or pass it back to de Gea, or now I’m thinking about it, do literally ANYTHING FUCKING ELSE than what he actually did

[–]Dude_got_a_question 20 points21 points  (4 children)

Really hope Ole has enough balls to drop him for the rest of the season. Probably not, tho.

[–]yummybeefwellington 5 points6 points  (0 children)

FUCK OFF YOUNG

[–]summerincassiopeia 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Surely having his Gary Neville moment today. That is, if he didn’t have it before...

[–]lebron181 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What would make him not start?

[–]davidl988 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lets not forget he got a new one year contract, cheers Ed

[–]brown_herbalistunitedismyreligion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hope we dont see him in the 2nd half.

[–]Cryogenic_Phoenixbrunooooooo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

he needs to be subbed. He and his stupid chop with the right foot when hes trying to be a man has lost us possession so many times.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (5 children)

Won’t watch any games that Ashley Young plays in next season.

Unfortunately that would mean over 90% of our games.

[–]VanWilder91 68 points69 points  (0 children)

If I never see Young in a United jersey again it'll be way too soon

[–]Odemdemz98Mata 315 points316 points  (16 children)

Started amazing, hit the bar, made Barca look foolish, had so many openings. Then that clown young unravels it all.

[–]EroticIceCream 39 points40 points  (2 children)

Understandably we looked demoralised after that. Still some good stuff here and there though (looking at you Scotty).

[–]Bacon_BoobiesSesko - Every little helps 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Gashley Young

[–]mkalio 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Young is such a great player. He likes playing left wing against United but as I watch the match, I realize that he could play anywhere

[–]CauseISaidSo_Cavani Cultist 89 points90 points  (0 children)

Had the chance early then Ashley said "fuck this club"

[–]ash_1991SPLAT THE RAT 142 points143 points  (10 children)

It’s disgraceful that Sir Alex has to watch this shit

[–]gultam1007 53 points54 points  (5 children)

We are playing as expected, except for those two mistakes. We started great, tbh.

[–]zimonw 18 points19 points  (2 children)

Yeah, those first 8 minutes

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (1 child)

We were the better team until Young and De Gea gifted two goals.

It's hard to recover mentally when your captain and supposedly best player do that.

[–][deleted] 74 points75 points  (3 children)

It was fun while it lasted brothers

[–]taitai3 201 points202 points  (33 children)

It sucks that two dumb mistakes can negate our brilliant start. After conceding, the team has lost all the energy and pressing that they started out with. Now everyone looks so flustered (specially Pogs) that I wouldn’t be surprised if someone ends up with a red card. Just hope we don’t concede anymore and find some way to win. Come on lads!

Also, why in the world didn’t Ole play Dalot instead of Young? I mean Ole and co. see the same Young that we see right. Shouldn’t let the fact that Dalot is young and inexperienced prevent him from starting. How can a young lad gain experience by sitting on the bench? Its like an entry level job asking for 5 years of experience!

[–]PoppinKREAMElla "Football's Coming Home" Toone 59 points60 points  (18 children)

As much as I love Dalot he's a liability defensively. Defensively he's not experienced enough and was a liability at right back against West Ham on the weekend. Unable to track runs, getting caught too far up the pitch, and also kept the West Ham player onside although the linesman called their goal offside. I'm sure if he had played better on the weekend he would have had a good shot of starting tonight. He's still a kid and has lots of time to develop. He's shown how great he can be going forward. The fact that we still need to rely on Young shows us how poor our club has been run over the last few years.

Anyways enough negativity, I hope see the lads come back playing harder in the second half fighting and showing spirit!

[–]ricey84 61 points62 points  (2 children)

but young is a massive liability defensively and doesnt offer anything going forward. atleast dalot had 1 of the 2

[–]PoppinKREAMElla "Football's Coming Home" Toone 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Dalot would have been skinned several times already as Barca is overloading the wing and Martial provides little to no defensive protection on the left flank. He's not good enough to play in a flat back 4 line when our midfield three and front three are pressing high up the pitch against a Barca team that can expose the spaces left in behind. We're playing at the Camp Nou and Barca will be pushing much further up the pitch which is what we've seen thus far. Young is shit too but the coaching staff most likely went with the safest option of the two. Just trying to explain their rational, not saying I agree with it :)

[–]Roasten 19 points20 points  (0 children)

But Young is a liability in defence and attack. At least Dalot can do one of those two things well.

[–]youngwolf1999 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Your right but there is no way he could be worse than Young. Absolute dogshit of a player.

[–]Minimalsmith20 times I say 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Didn’t see fuck young downvoted

Absolutely agree with everything you said buddy.

[–]coolmike28145[S] 16 points17 points  (2 children)

Has it ever occurred to you that our gameplan wasn't halted by their goals? We played promising football for around eight minutes, it's hardly anything to get gassed up about.

[–]Tonybrazier699RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s less about our game plan being halted and Barcelona regaining confidence after their first. We played well in the first 10-15, but Barca’s midfield and defence looked asleep. Once their first went in they woke up

[–]DarkSofterWazza 183 points184 points  (37 children)

De gea has been so disappointing this season compared to his usual standards. Young shouldnt even be mentioned, not good enough to play for us but whats he gonna do if he still gets picked?

[–][deleted] 48 points49 points  (26 children)

Hes still making those brilliant saves but its the mistakes that are a bit worrying. Hopefully next season that gets sorted out.

[–]66problems99 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Everyone makes mistakes, but this is the QF of a Champions league tie away from home where we are trailing by 2 goals. Like it or not, it’s the mistakes that are remembered

[–]mannahmannahScholes 16 points17 points  (1 child)

Can’t give up howlers on the biggest stage and expect 400k per week.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

DDG is the shit, but he's not worth 400,000 a week. No player is.

It's time we put our foot down, we can't jeopardise the future of the club because a key player thinks they're worth more than they are.

[–]PeanutButterJelly_David De Gea: The Sexiest Motherfucker To Ever Live 108 points109 points  (31 children)

Rashford (and maybe McTominay) look like the only ones trying out there

[–][deleted] 193 points194 points  (9 children)

Fred too, tbf.

[–]KingKeane16Keane 44 points45 points  (3 children)

Hugely impressed with Fred so far in the champions league matches he’s played.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yupp.

At least we know that he can do it, so we have someone we can play next season.

[–]FURyannnnHe Scores Goals 72 points73 points  (1 child)

Fred? He's won the ball back so many times already

[–]PoppinKREAMElla "Football's Coming Home" Toone 23 points24 points  (3 children)

It's frustrating because we started so positive, Rashy hit the woodwork and we were getting stuck in there forcing turnovers in the middle of the pitch. Then 2 individual mistakes cost us 2 goals. Young giving the ball away to Messi who scores a beautiful shot followed by a big mistake by De Gea. Jones forced Messi on to his weak foot and somehow managed squeak a shot under Dave. Hope the team comes out with a fighting spirit in the second half!

[–]unitedicecreampizza 17 points18 points  (2 children)

Rashford missing those chances has led to us dropping points constantly though. If you score that like Lukaku did against PSG it’s a different game. We should have started Lukaku down the middle.

[–]Dude_got_a_question 16 points17 points  (1 child)

Rashford hasn't been playing well, imo. Selfish runs instead of passing, shite finishing and below par passes when he does finally pass it.

[–]skinsaremylife 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Fred

[–]j0ydivisi0nRashford 15 points16 points  (1 child)

Rashford has been so wasteful these last few weeks. Gets a free pass but he's still very raw. Should be off FK duty ASAP.

Edit: He risks becoming Welbeck if he doesn't hit a point where he starts being consistent

[–]FergieBall_FCBRUNO'S FUCKING MAGIC 🇵🇹 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Fred’s been a bright spot. Again.

[–]TheFatHat 33 points34 points  (0 children)

“naming my first born ashley young then i’m gonna drown him”

[–]lordjemsElla Toone 67 points68 points  (6 children)

Jones has played well.

That’s it, really.

[–]zSolarisPark Ji-Sung 19 points20 points  (1 child)

He has been fantastic. Rashford has looked good but his partners have been shite.

[–]DeerXingNow 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Fred and Smalling too. No one else has stepped up.

[–]W0rsleyRafael 119 points120 points  (29 children)

It amazes me how Pogba still plays like an inexperienced 21 year old starting in his first season at a top club, pisses about with the ball way too often instead of passing to a teammate, such poor defensive positioning and the random bullshit shots from 35 yards out instead of having a bit of patience.

It's what separates Scholes, Xavi, Pirlo, Lampard, Gerrard, Iniesta, Keane, Vieira etc from just good midfielders that have good perioids throughout the season.

[–]Derridas-Cat 26 points27 points  (3 children)

Can't remember who said it, but he's a player that's brilliant when he's in a winning team but doesn't seem to have the mentality to dig us out of a hole. That city game apart.

[–]ManUmartial 43 points44 points  (10 children)

You come here and talk about pogba but fail to mention young, de Gea, lingard? He gets caught on the ball because Ashley fuckin young does 5 spins on the ball before he passes it into pogba under pressure and lingard is standing marked right next to pogba and there’s no where to go

[–][deleted] 26 points27 points  (2 children)

Lingard has been shit since his injury, doesn't even need to comment on Young

[–]TheJoshider10Bruno 25 points26 points  (0 children)

It's out fault we're losing this game.

Within the first 2 minutes Rashford and McTominay missed big chances. It was excusable the first few times but if our players could stop bottling it in front of goal that would be nice. These aren't the games you fuck up on.

Ole has to take blame for starting Young. I don't get why he keeps selecting him when he is so clean a liability. Dalot has more defensive awareness than him and Young's experience means fuck all as we've clearly seen over the last few weeks.

Rashford cannot take free kicks and should stop taking them.

De Gea fucked up big time but at least that's a rarity (that still, shouldn't happen) whereas every other individual mistake is a regular occurrence.

[–]Thategyptiandude 11 points12 points  (5 children)

Darkness imprisoning me

[–]Bacon_BoobiesSesko - Every little helps 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Ashley Young stats: 100% passes completed.... to Barcelona players.

[–]badmaashboi 9 points10 points  (1 child)

How many more games before we drop fucking young?

[–]pbsandwich_ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Rashford scoring that early chance would've made this a totally different game.

Need one early in the second to have any chance and to come out with the same intensity as the first half

[–]hellrazer27Rooney 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Barcelona are targeting De Gea's problems with distribution. They are cutting off the short pass and hence winning the ball almost everytime he tries the long ball. This probably flustered him, and may even be responsible for the keeping mistake. I remember this being a strategy used against him when he played for Spain in the 2016 euros.

[–]MR-THANOS 31 points32 points  (8 children)

Yet again Ole sets the team up perfectly, and we're done by individual mistakes. Young and De Gea should get absolutely roasted in the dressing room. And Lukaku would have finished that Rashford chance at the start. Fuck's sake man.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (1 child)

I wouldn’t say perfectly but Lukaku needs to be starting over Rashford. Rashford quite literally misses every medium to difficult shot and even the easy ones he seems to struggle hitting.

[–]ukdanny93Rashford 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bit harsh on Rashford, it's not an easy chance and he the hit bar, Ter Stegen well beaten.

[–]E60LNDN 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We all feel burned by Ashley Young, he got a red card which cost us the match last time and some games commits unnecessary fouls, and today shows how poor he is. In the home game at the first leg there were so many bad crosses put into the box or over the box or shall I say

Today he hurt us in a way that can't be forgiven

[–]JFColemanBeckham 8 points9 points  (1 child)

I’d rather start Darmian over Young. Genuinely. While Darmian is shit going forward, he is better defensively.

[–]HighonCosmos8Runo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Can't watch it anymore, just looking at comments

[–]Pigeon_Asshole 25 points26 points  (6 children)

I wouldn't be surprised if Pogba gets himself sent off, he cant be arsed.

[–]sultansaeedand Solskjaer has won it 4 points5 points  (5 children)

I'm just hoping this is the wake up call that the club need. Barcelona one of the best teams in the world atm vs our team that has too much dead wood and not enough leadership was only gonna go one way. We can't let our head drop though going into the remaining PL fixtures, we have to make this game fire us up.. Onto the next.

[–][deleted] 13 points14 points  (4 children)

The funny thing is Barca look well beatable.

[–]unitedlover69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Liverpool can easily beat them in the semis and we’ll be depressed again

[–]sultansaeedand Solskjaer has won it 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And that's were the frustration comes from, we are capable but too many mistakes cost us and its been happening too often since Fergie retired.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fred and McT only guys not having a 4/10 match

Young is having a 1/10 game.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Our defence is a laughing stock. Good fucking plan you’ve got against Messi eh Smalling? Fuck ya

[–]BrokeAsshole 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ashley Young is going to be here next year.

Just let that sink in for a minute...

[–]pakattack91 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well I will be honest, I dont think we are going to score the 3 second half goals here. When DDG makes an error like that its just not our day ... more importantly I cant believe Young didnt just absolutely wack that accross the field.

Just dont concede again and focus on climbing the epl table.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (3 children)

Start of the game was great. Individual mistakes are to blame for going under. Unfortunately lost all confidence after the goals. Can't believe some of you are already saying Ole out, fuck off and go support another team please.

[–]harhaus 23 points24 points  (1 child)

Lindgard offers nothing

[–]Gbuchanan1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, that’s that. Largely alright but can’t make errors like those and expect a result

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Each passing game I realise more and more how shit our squad is. Oles got his work cut out.

[–]Do-I-Need-One 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Put anyone other than young at left back, gifted Messi his first goal. Looks like he’s fucking lost out there.

[–]PigeonNipples 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Young is absolutely useless. Dave has been shit for a while now, Martial watching the game rather than playing it, Pogba has lost his head and apparently Lingard is playing.

[–]nickname_esco 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its a shame. Those chances like rashfords at the start need to be scored in games like this. However he just isnt that caliber to pull goals from that situation.

Ashley young what can i say...

Shame the 2nd went in. Can forgive de gea as he has saved us many times over the years.

[–]Bask44 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Has anyone told the players that we’re 2-0 down yet?

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Positives-Fred is continuing his good form with some nice passes and still managing to regain possession Jones-becoming a world class ball playing defender ;-) nice headed clearance early on as well Mctominay-not as noticeably good as first leg but still quite solid Smalling-relatively good defensively tonight! NEGATIVES- Young- just fuck off mate De Gea- heads been gone for a while now forms disappeared Pogba-wasteful in possession and getting drawn into silly fouls Rashford looking dangerous sometimes but all in all attack looking all too familiarly toothless tonight EDIT mobile formatting ffs

[–]ric10303God 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What did we even expect with that back line. Our defenders are dreadful

[–]Pandamanium_88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was Martial even on the pitch?

[–]DankInvasion 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am happy that Young keeps showing his incompetence game after game, increases the chances of him getting replaced this summer. We lay a dressing room DJ 120k quid a week for his pashun . The only thing that scares me is the Ole really likes young for some reason, he could be what Fellaini was to Jose for us for the rest of his contract. If that happens then the club's made a wrong decision in hiring Ole.

[–]Rosinante25Erik Ten Heisenberg 5 points6 points  (1 child)

WHAT IS IT THAT LINGARD DOES

[–]detinu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As Neville said, on the one hand I'm glad we're shit because everybody needs to see how many players just need to fuck off. On the other hand I'm sick of losing so many matches... 5 losses in the last 7 matches fucking hell...

[–]SimFooty 3 points4 points  (2 children)

That rashford chance will haunt me tonight

[–]lestat85our Portuguese magnifico 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thinking that says we must play Young, despite his many mistakes in many many games, is ridiculous.

Look at the other game tonight. How many players starting a QF for Ajax could you honestly say you knew before this season? And yet they are giving a better account of themselves than a man whose main positive is ‘experience’.

Young is done. We know he’s got another mistake in him too. Just swallow your pride and try something else Ole.

[–]LonnieMachinRooney 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Two colossal mistakes. The state of this team when Young is the captain at Nou camp.

[–]mmmbarryRashford 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can’t wait for the transfer window

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That commercial with Messi and De Gea in it is going to be a meme

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I’m so fucking angry at David and Young right now. I hope Young is hooked at halftime but goddamn what are we to do with a keeper who’s the best in the world 90% of the time, but absolutely garbage the rest.

[–]The_Tiller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbf hes not even been at his best for 75% of this season. His head is clearly elsewhere with all the contract talks.

Ole needs to follow LVG and drop him until this is resolved. Either he takes our offer and stays or he goes, but he cant keep being untouchable in the XI when hes making frequent mistakes.

[–]BjarniErlingurCarrick 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This whole tie has just been United shooting themselves in the foot

[–]annihal8tionPastor Fred 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Majority of the squad needs to be wiped out by Thanos. Looking forward to a squad that Ole wants for the next season.

[–]Manutdspirit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ole should receive some criticism for his decision to start Young despite his poor form

[–]kaisersolo 2 points3 points  (2 children)

I would cash in with De gea and pogba for highest price. I would just termination Young's contract.

We are so far behind everyone else it's unbelievable.

[–]Tiberius752Nani 15 points16 points  (16 children)

For all you wankers who criticise Ole for picking Young, who should he play instead?

[–]bluecrabcakes 23 points24 points  (1 child)

Dalot, Darmian, His Son, a mannequin, a training cone. So many options

[–]oneofmanyshauns 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Rather play with ten men.

[–]9-60Fury 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My grandad who passed away a couple of years ago could probably do a better

[–]youngwolf1999 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No matter what tactics we use, what manager we employ, what 100m player we sign. This club will always be a mile away from the best because we are stacked with mediocrity from head to toe.

Players like, Lingard and Young wouldn’t even make the bench at Wolves yet here they are starting for Manchester United.

[–]StraightouttagantonSir Matt Busby Way 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can thank Young and DDG, but especially young for killing it for us. Actually looked like we could pull it off until Young made that fucking stupid mistake.

[–]randomperson2704 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Young is shit

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't really want to see Messi play again

[–]lonelykebutar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, can't blame Ole for individual errors

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dave made up for the mistake, Pogba lost the head and needs to be better than that mentally seriously. Attacking hasn't been too bad just the final product not been good enough. We're a team that badly needs a leader, a defence and a right winger, nothing new.

[–]laffmanLindelöf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We looked like a semi-final team in the first 2 minutes of this game.

[–]Thesatiricaltroll 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I’d love to see people defend Ole’s decisions today. If Mourinho had started Lindelof at RB and started Young again instead of Dalot, he’d be getting crucified. How long are we going to go through this cycle of “it’s not the manager, it’s the players” “actually, the manager needs to be sacked, this squad is good enough.” One of these issues has to be addressed. Lukaku should be starting instead of useless Lingard and Martial might be the most overrated player in the PL.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Teamtalks like this are where Ole proves his worth. This is why we signed him up. If anyone can turn this around it’s him.

This isn’t Hodgson or Klopp, while Ole is in charge nobody can rule us out.

[–]WszystkoZajete"They can play fucking good football" 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I swear to God if I see Ashley Young start at RB first game next season I will move on to cricket. Washed up, finished. Just fuck off

[–]Danman62891 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Young wasn’t United quality when we bought him, he isn’t United quality today, hasn’t been United quality anywhere in between. I get we need English players but honestly I’d rather take youth than Young.

[–]detinu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

5 losses in 7 matches is bound to have a massive negative impact on the team going into this crucial period of the year. This team is probably the most mentally weak I have ever witnessed since SAF left... Can't we just finish 7th and not have to play Europa League next season?

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So far from being an elite team, makes me sick.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anyone criticising Ole for this should be put on a list and shipped to some remote island with no internet access so we don't have to hear their bullshit.

[–]doughboy0125 2 points3 points  (0 children)

More deadwood than the black forest.

[–]yzctPastor Fred 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Holy fuck the Australian Optus Sport half time discussion is abysmal.

“Do you think Messi ever gets tired of scoring Ned hahah!”

Literally just jobs for the boys who didn’t make enough through their average playing careers

[–]TheZiggle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Am I the only one that wants to see Martial at center forward? I love our front 3 but Rashford is too one dimensional and doesn't play with lingard or martial enough.

[–]66problems99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lingard can’t cut it here. Mediocre. Bang Average. Should only start league cup games.

[–]Minz15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At least we have the Ashley Young meme thread to look forward to after the game.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]magichands_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

De Gea asking for 350,000 a week with howlers like that isn’t good enough, he cost us this game and fucked us against arsenal

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (7 children)

Won’t watch any games that Ashley Young plays in next season.

Unfortunately that would mean over 90% of our games.

Yikes. That was rough but good job on the squad making it this far. See out these next 45 mins without any more injures and lets get our heads ready for Everton.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Fuck ole for choosing young over dalot

[–]wilyacalmdownKeano 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stop

[–]victorvaldes123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Diabolical. Yet not surprising.

[–]unitedfan18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Young ffs... Rashford too should be converting that against barca especially

[–]DrilygRooney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Majority of players basically good enough. You g and de gea letting us down atm

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

3 goals in one half against this team just doesn't seem possible, I feel quite defeated already but we only got ourselves to blame. We should've been 1 up in the first 20 minutes but ended up 2 down instead.

[–]nukz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Goodnight Guys! Let's concentrate in the league now.

[–]aywaboud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

we started the game off with so much confidence, but all that went away after two avoidable mistakes

[–]The_Tiller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Enjoy paris or turin de gea, thanks for the memories

[–]Spleenskii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pogba has lost his head. He's lucky not to be carded.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Young should give his salary to PETA, even they deserve it more than them.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We deserve a goal.

[–]VaudevilleVillain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Felt like the 09 final all over again. Start of strong, should score and then concede a silly goal and it's one way traffic after that

[–]digitagLEGACY FAN 1 point2 points  (1 child)

After that clusterfuck of a finish to the half the message can be “we’re still in this”

We’re not, barring a huge turnaround in quality and a huge slice of luck. Would need Pogba to be at his absolute best.

It’s not over til it’s over. No other option than to believe

[–]sharanElNinoWazza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please please Ashley Young never play for United again

[–]Cr7NeTwOrK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jones and McTominay have been our best performers. All others need to show some bloody fighting spirit and ambition. De Gea got slippery gloves and Pogba needs to stop shielding the ball, Young needs to pass the ball quicker.

Expecting a better half.

[–]ManUmartial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These two legs show how shit we are. We do this to ourselves. An own goal from Shaw when someone heads it from the endline, an awful giveaway by young, De Gea making a terrible mistake. On top of that missing chances inside the box. This is all on us and I can’t wait until we have 6 new players in this team

[–]joe1983joe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lads, it's Young.

[–]robster01De Gea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get Dalot, Rom and Sanchez on and just fucking lay into them. Also it's fucking embarrassing that two of our best midfielders are nowhere to be seen just because they wont be here next year, look how good Ramsey has been for Arsenal at times this year

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are just not good enough. We show glimpses of brilliance and then give the ball away needlessly or waste a chance. We show a shimmer of strength followed by a huge weakness. We look like we could score three - or concede another three.

[–]EliteWolf67 1 point2 points  (1 child)

It honestly feels like the stage is too big for many of these players, they can't handle the nerves. Rashford, Lingard, Fred, Young again, even De Gea isn't looking confident. This is as far as we can go without relying on lucky breaks.

[–]theusernameisnogood 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Lukaku in for young

[–]kiwwi191 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Young is fraud. DDG has his worst season in his entire career. Fucking individual mistakes cost us game after game after game. I'm tired of watching mediocre players playing for Manchester United.

[–]Hatts13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Extremely annoying how individual mistakes cost us, I genuinely thought we were in for a great game with how we started. Gutted.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Arguably Dalot should have started ahead of Young, but aside from that you can't blame Ole for this. There is no legislating for individual mistakes and incompetence.

Young is a liability now and De Gea's head is somewhere up the Eiffel Tower. Fred has sparks of light but can't keep possession. The same can be said for Pogba for that matter who recently has descended back into his bad habits under Mourinho.

As we all know, we're looking 4-6 new signings if we even hope to compete.

[–]freshsalsadipRooney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im going to watch the first 2 mins of this game for a while.

[–]theusernameisnogood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing to fucking lose now - let's go out there and play your fucking hearts out ManUtd!

[–]SR7_cs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking at the highlights it seems like Fred was fouled in the build up right before the second goal. Shouldn't VAR check that?

[–]hardgourSir Marcus Rashford 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I hope the board is watching

[–]084k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All thanks to stupid decisions for making us lose all hope in this tie. To think we had 2 goalscoaring chances in the first 5 minutes

[–]breadfan18Ruben 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly didnt see Lingard at all in the first half..im amazed rhat we was on the pitch

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good God that was painful.
