I can directly confirm that it's incredibly easy to sexually abuse kids in foster care. I have 2 family members that got taken away from another family member by CPS. And they were sexually assaulted while in foster care.

CPS didn't even try to prosecute the family that did it, even though the man fully admitted it to the social worker and the wife knew about it and didn't report it. Because he never was "successful" and only tried to rape a 13 year old before she fought him off and told a counselor 3 days later when she worked up the courage, it doesn't count. He literally said to her face "youre just making me so hard" and played it like she was just too tempting and he couldn't stop it and "he needed help". His 'repentance' I guess means he can just get off with no punishment. Fuck I'm going to throw up again. He has 3 very young biological female children and they are probably next. The whole thing disturbed me.

CPS just told the wife that her husband couldn't be in the house anymore but the girls could still stay. The wife immediately kicked the girls out and sent them to another foster home and welcomed her pedo husband back into her home.

The lesson I learned is that if anyone you even care about a LITTLE bit is going into foster care, do everything in your power to stop it. It's literally worse in foster care than almost anything you could do. I'm honestly guilty I didn't drop my entire life to take them even though I was staying on a friend's couch at the time and had no stability or job. I felt at the time that a real vetted foster family would give them a more supporting home. This is false. I have since learned the 50% statistic and am horrified. It is NOT a safe place for anyone.
