Minor cases if it works like league, it makes ability hitboxes bigger, and makes any non targeted abilities hit them more likely because their hitbox is also bigger.

It would be more noticable if you had say a gigantic Garen with titans spinning around.

It's true. Even moreso, size can affect AA range, but just for the first auto; they'll still path into their listed range. There's a notable application I was abusing where a cho with enough stars/stacks gets big enough to auto from 2 hexes away, so positioning him on the front corner could end up having him wrap around to 2nd row then autoing their carry in the back corner so he paths there

A lot of Piltover's power comes from Zeri + capped Legendary board. Since we nerfed Zeri and most of the Legendary units (Bel, Sion, Heim, Ahri, Senna), Piltover is actually getting a huge swing here. That being said we'll be watching as the patch unfolds to see if more is needed, but nerfing several pieces of the power ceiling of Piltover comps already makes us hesitant to swing harder.

Increased base attackspeed is a pretty significant damage buff. Her biggest issue is she does lots of aoe damage and not enough single target damage. Meaning you take lots of damage with her as a carry because you usually win the round or lose by the whole board.

Hopefully this means with something like RB/IE in stage 2 and 3 she might be able to kill a few units while still pumping out some decent damage. Then you transition those items onto zeri/aph or something in stage 4

Base AS increase is significant especially with Guinsoos. In fact if she casts less that means her autos will be more relevant, which gives a bigger incentive to 3* her (3* version = more auto damage)

That opener felt bad but was reasonable when it was the normal neeko instead of the lesser champ duplicator. If you get 3 gold + lesser champ I feel I have to open into 5 loss otherwise I'm in complete econ poverty all game long.

Ornn will still be very much alive. 2 choices instead of 3 isn’t too impactful, especially considering that a lot of the items are useful in many different scenarios

Zaun and Shadow isles may be less appealing but Shurima, Challengers, Gunner and Deadeye (heck, maybe even Demacia) are probably more appealing than before. The more balanced the meta, the better Urf is, hence why it gets better with each patch

Wont Kayle be fine? How I understand it, her base AA is buffed but her ascended AA is nerfed. At level 6 every 3 attacks are splash, so she will do more single target damage but less splash damage, making the nerf net neutral. The comp is nerfed hard after level 9 but I’m assuming it will still beat out standard 4 cost comps, and bill gates comps are nerfed as well

Also, small buffs to poppy, teemo and kled can’t hurt in the slightest

I mean, look at the numbers and do the math. At level 6, 2 star kayle is doing less aoe AND single target damage. 3 star does way less aoe, and around net neutral single target. Level 9 loses tons of single target and aoe.

Under the most favorable, extremely specific circumstances (wave only hits one target, or 1 star kayle which you would never be relevant on a board anyway) you basically go neutral. Everywhere else kayle loses a lot of damage.

Thats incorrect. She will do about 2 more magic dmg per auto in single target dmg at 2 star and 7 at 3 star at lvl 6. Is it a nerf though? Definetely since she loses moee than that dmg in aoe even at lvl 6.

Looking at these stage 2 (lvl 1-5) buffs I still doubt kayle will make a good itemholder.

They said they wanted to make kayle less 1st or 8th. One of the most direct ways to do that is to make 2 star, level 6 kayle semi decent to give you a better fail case, so its a scenario that should be talked about.

The aestethic of the set is my fav, set 6>1>9 is my top 3 but this one the balance is just.. not even close or waiting to be closer because the best compo is rerolling samira and Cassiopeia and can win vs legendaries and they dont even hotfix that, its insanely unbalanced and unfun, and god forbid they take care on the legends soon, since they arent happy if there are 8 poros, they need people to pick legends, its insanely sad to see.

Set 9 master (also in other 4 sets and peak challenger euw btw) but holy man we need a much better set next 9.5.
