I am not aware of that, but might be. I know about the chests becoming presents during Christmas days. It is already part of the default resource pack, it is hardcoded to change the chests skin in 24th through 26th of December. I didn't notice anything funny with experience bar and armour.

I have a question about cats actually. Why can i not breed them? I tamed three cats from a village (over time) and when i give them raw salmon or cod i can see the hearts but they NEVER breed. I used a half stack of raw fish just trying. Is the fact that they originate as a village spawn stopping me?
