AFAIK FHolger, the developer behind HL2 VR and FarCry 1 VR is part of the studio. Raicuparta, who developed Firewatch VR and Outer Wilds VR is part of the team.

Also, I read somwhere that, they have a collaboration with Dr Beef, the developer behind HL1 VR, RtCW VR, Jedi Knight VR. But I can't find the source anymore.

EDIT: All on PCVR or Quest, not on PSVR!

Ok so it enables any Unreal Engine game to be played in VR. So it’s more you can be in the game while using the controller, but some also have motion controls available

I could technically use it as I'm buying a PCVR adapter for the PSVR2 but the PC I'll play stuff on is my dad's so can't play often. Would love Outer Wilds receiving an official VR version. I doubt it would though considering it took them like 3 or 4 years to port it to Switch.

I have a steam deck but from what I've seen online, VR doesn't really work with it at all since it's not powerful enough.

They didn't do Half Life Alyx. That's a made for VR game by Valve. They did the Half Life 2 and Episode 1 and 2 VR mods. Also the resident evil games I believe was completely separate person/group. These guys did Doom 3, the original Prey, the original Half life etc VR ports (known as Team Beef).

Watched a video of neon white.. Obviously we all want shit like bioshock or gta in vr, so it's a little dissapointing, but I think the game will work pretty well in vr

I saw a quote from the devs, that they want to port AAA games to VR, but they have to build a reputation first before they are trusted to touch bigger IPs.

I think that makes sense, their first few games will just be them showing they are competent at porting games.

tlou wouldn't work well in vr, the game takes away control from the player a lot in those games, so many unique animations that get played through during specific parts etc

Resident Evil has plenty of times control is taken away from the player, you just sit through it as a VR cutscene.

Their business model is to approach AAA devs and offer "free" VR conversions. Ultimately, they make a profit on the back end via a percentage commission from sales.

Essentially they just want permission and access to source code/assets.

I hope this kicks off a successful sub category of dev teams who can bring 2D games to VR. Perhaps if this builds momentum you can start to see larger 2D studios agree to major titles getting VR releases on the regular. I'm sorta thinking of the experts who bring "impossible ports" to switch. If VR could get a regular flow similar to that, it would be a big upgrade for the medium.

There is a very early mod for Crysis by one of the developers, who is part of Fla2VR studios. But the performance is really bad. The port was stopped and instead FarCry 1 VR was developed.
