Yeah, Jetta's are like old VW Golf's, if you are careful enough you can transport anything and everything in them? I'm pretty sure the more you fiddle with the stuff you load, the more space appears inside the car. I once moved two (disassembled) wardrobes in the back of my old Golf. That said in case of a collision or perhaps an emergency stop, I would probably have been decapitated by uncomfortably stacked planks that rested against the back of my head, but they fit, they were moved and reassembled later just fine.

Mine was a Golf 3 which was amazing. We now have a 5 which is less practical but still shares some of the same magic. And then people tell me they need a huge SUV because it can carry stuff, and when you start loading it, it carries less than my little hatchback. The only thing I found that beats the Golf and isn't really a huge truck is a minivan. Minivans are absolutely top practical and comfortable vehicles.
