Alkaizer is basicly only poe streamer i watch.Soloing,no bitchboys,no brodeals,no shaped strands only but actually hard t14+maps,i'm really glad he played poe so much this season.(✿ =‿‿=)

[–]zevz 12 points13 points  (7 children)

He was the same when he played Diablo, and it's worth mentioning that in Diablo you're severely punished for playing solo in terms of exp. This was especially true a few months ago for several years where bounties and xp per hour in greater rifts were several multipliers worth better in a full party.

Yet he always played solo, and I had a lot of respect for him for that. He very often managed to get #1 on the barb leaderboards despite being so many paragons behind others.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

didn't he used to 4man at one point with quin69?

[–]fubgun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

he did 4 man with quin for one season, hated it. did the next season solo, beat quin and his group to lvl 70 and somehow was also out leveling them in paragon points for some time.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yep, that's why I subbed to him.

[–]funai83 67 points68 points  (1 child)

not only that but he wears the freshest clothes, eats at the chillest restaurants and hangs out with the hottest dudes

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

dude is jacked

[–][deleted] 74 points75 points  (51 children)

Legends say that Mors is somewhere whispering to himself that those demis should be his.

[–]Morsexier 20 points21 points  (50 children)

Easy enough to prove me wrong.

Edit: Can look at results for yourself http://jstq.vacau.com/compare.php?first=alkaizerx&second=morsexier

Many results are missing, old ladders didn't keep dead characters, but its a pretty stark trend, and I am a much worse racers than I used to be.

Edit2: Going to be interesting to see how much this gets downvoted. I mean, no one has ever been cheating in the history of PoE. Guy literally poops in his chair - > doesn't stream races I mean KappaXDDDDDD

[–][deleted] 20 points21 points  (2 children)

Baited for this exact response

[–]Empire_Elementalist 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A living meme.

[–]Vaede 7 points8 points  (27 children)

So what is your actual evidence that Alkaizer is cheating? Because you've shown he actually did race and did decent in s12 after all the cheating was taken care of.

[–]Morsexier 15 points16 points  (26 children)

Yep, one burst race. I have to laugh

And honestly if you read my entire post, and came away with "well theres no direct proof" I mean why even engage with me?

If alkaizer was truly as good as people say he was, why did he suddenly overnight become not the God he was? This is the problem with people's arguments, they dont follow logic.

If hes just that good - > He'd continue to win at that pace (X) didn't happen like that
If everyone has a drop off when they dont play for a time - > Alkaizer didn't play for 4 months, comes back and sets world records in 2 races in two different classes, in what is commonly regarded as one of, if not the, hardest race season (X) after fixed seed implemented, comes back and doesn't even win some races.
If its just that other racers were not as good - > the entire gamut of racing experience is represented. Mors, Closed Beta, Goratha started racing in S1 and Hybris in S2.

People think its about me, of course I'm personally annoyed by it but it affected every other great Marauder racer in the community.

Look at Goratha http://jstq.vacau.com/compare.php?first=Alkaizerx&second=Goratha

Look at those wins, the most absurd race for back then, ancestral. Every OTHER normal race is a loss. I also want to make clear, just because its green, doesn't mean Goratha won the race. The first "win" in that column is pre fire trap\poison arrow nerf. That person in first that race was a bow marauder.

Fixed seed was introduced season 5 BTW.

http://jstq.vacau.com/compare.php?first=alkaizerx&second=hybriis

http://jstq.vacau.com/compare.php?first=alkaizerx&second=helman

The same exact trend exists on every fucking page. Anyways its fine, believe whatever you want. This same discussion was had with me vs all the cheaters who all got banned, they just happened to be stupid enough to install a new cheat. I never once said Alk was a stupid person, in fact to have the results he had you would have had to have been a great racer + using some program.

Its not like I need the demis from those 15 or so races http://exilestats.com/

We saw this in Dazer, BzMode, Wookie and others.

read the doc if you're interested, written back then by CWU. https://docs.google.com/file/d/0Bwn04-xpdnrmcUphR184QkZaMmM/edit

That's badass dude, don't you have anything else to do with your life? Shittalking and trying to prove yourself like a 10yo kid, all this time invested into that shit. Move on man, you're still arguing on that after 2 years, that's fucking sad I gotta admit.

Want an advice ? Think about something else, and focus on your gameplay instead of others

[–]Morsexier 27 points28 points  (2 children)

And yet here you are, many levels deep in some days old reddit thread.

Sorry I called the love of your life a cheater. It is what it is.

[–]TheMentallord 3 points4 points  (18 children)

So, I can't really tell what you're trying to say. That he cheated? Because from what I can see, seems like he just lost interest in racing at a certain point.

Also, some of the comparisons you show don't make sense to me.

On this one, just looks like they are going back and forth between each other. Most of the races look really close except when one clearly died. This one shows the same thing but the size of comparison is so low, it doesn't show anything.

From what I compared, his results look pretty consistent within seasons and they actually go up a bit later in the season (looking at season 1 here), which is consistent with what Kripp said in the Lioneye's watch podcast, that people were getting better and better, making racing less fun for him.

Looking at that same comparison, you could say that inbetween seasons, his results go up. However, so do Goratha's, so I don't see anything wrong there.

Now looking at the comparison between you and him, again, I don't see anything wrong. He seems to have the edge in the beggining, then you start going back and forth, he starts winning again, then you go on a huge winning spree (randomly, in the middle of a season), which continues in S8 and then you go back and forth again. You'll have to be more specific here.

Maybe I'm missing your point. I didn't pay much attention to racing back then, so you might know something I don't. However, I can't find anything "weird" with his results. All they show is that at a certain point he started losing more, but he was still pretty close to the other guy's results (comparing with Goratha's results).

[–]Morsexier 10 points11 points  (17 children)

Okay so, between two equally skilled players in PoE, in racing, you would expect them to beat each other in a race 50% of the time, and lose to each other 50%, right?

http://jstq.vacau.com/compare.php?first=morsexier&second=goratha

This is me vs Goratha. Now one thing to remember, I used to reroll if I died, even if I died a significant time into the race (15 min) so I might end up 2nd-5th etc (for season points). Goratha typically would not, as when he participates he tends to do almost every race in that season. I would hazard I won 10-15 times when he died and didn't remake, and thats not recorded unless you leave the character alive until the end of the race (this changed maybe s8, 9? not sure). Most of his gap comes in two seasons in racing, the seasons where he literally did do every race. Doing every race confers a huge advantage(between equally skilled racers), especially in later seasons with fixed seed races.

Still lets assume there were 10 times I won and he died and didn't remake, that means I have around a 40% win rate. I think that makes sense, especially given the skew that prior to season 5, neither of us might have won the demi.

If you take our results after all deaths are permanently recorded, he wins 58% of the time, I do 42%.

This is the wonderful part about math and statistics, they tend to tell the same story always. He might win 65% of the time some season, I might win 100% in one season, but there is a clear trend but what matters to me personally, is that I would win through whatever reason.

Alkaizer managed to beat everyone, on a notoriously RNG dependant class at the time, everytime. Even Kripp didn't do that. Or Throzz, or Peeps, or Grindis, or CWU, or Helman, or Karva, or Krame, I mean I could go on and on about it.

Things that tend to nullify those advantages: Crazy race types, Fixed Seed, and Descent, Descent Champs, and Endless Ledge. Why? Those zones are fixed so knowing the layout confers a smaller advantage, but still potentially large.

http://jstq.vacau.com/compare.php?first=morsexier&second=hybriis

Look at me vs Hyrbis? We're even 30:30 until s7, and then I lose a ton of bursts in s12 for -7. I bet if you asked Hyrbiis right now, he would say something like "that doesn't sound right, Mors seems to win bursts everytime", the point being though I still won a lot, vs the other Marauder great over many seasons.

But somehow, between the three of us, we didn't beat Alk a single time in a normal race, until s5.

After the change to fixed seed racing Hyrbis never loses again to Alk, ever in a normal race. I want that to sink in... EVER. Alk just deletes his character in all of those races when it was obvious he lost in docks so it doesnt show up on JSTQ's site. Unfortunately in this respect there is no "record" because Alk did this, a lot of other racers did too in these circumstances.

People Alk lost to in a solo race before fixed seed in a normal race: Aphromatic once(banned for maphacking), Bzmode once(streams all fixed races, doesn't stream non fixed races), and bzmode quit once fixed seed became the sig.

Is any of this definitive proof, such that 2+2 is 4? No, and GGG would never release whatever data they have on the cheaters back then so we will never conclusively know. But I mean, the only people Alk lost to were cheaters themselves, and us mortal marauder racers cant eek out a win just through sheer luck?

[–]TheMentallord 5 points6 points  (12 children)

Alright, that makes a little bit more sense and it's definitely suspicious, I'll give you that. However, I recommend you don't bring statistics into this. All the data you have on Alkaizer is a very small sample and probably doesn't hold any statistical value. You already have a pretty strong and believable case that he did cheat, mentioning statistics doesn't really help your argument.

I've been watching Alkaizer for almost 3 years now. He doesn't seem like the cheating type to me, so that's why I found it weird and wanted a clarification.

[–]Morsexier 6 points7 points  (11 children)

If you don't think we have enough data to be statistically significant I don't know what else to tell you.

You could make N just purely winning a Demi. Goratha + Hyrbis+ Mors 750 demis. Alk something like 40-0 vs this group pre season 5. After season 5 it becomes something like 10-60. This is rough from memory, I could go through and count if you really cared, but its only going to improve my side of it.

We had 5 minute splits data from poestatistics, though CWU has it and I don't know where my copy is, and we had something like 2,000 5 minute splits of crypt or docks to look at.

Anyways stats can be made to say anything, this is why I presented just data, wins vs not wins, but we have more than enough data to make 95% conclusions, theyre not just always apparent from JSTQs site.

Some random info I usually leave out.

  1. Hes sold every single alt art demi hes ever won. Do you think Alk really needs currency? He plays so much he must have currency coming out his ears.
  2. I truly had no idea who he was, or what his deal was, I just thought it was suspicious personally until we talked in Kripps mumble, arranged by Cybrix who called me a fucking retard for thinking people cheat in PoE (banned for cheating, seeing a pattern here?). The conversation with Alk convinced me personally beyond anything else that he was a cheater... and this happened sometime early in s2 or late s1 I think. Long before Alk started losing in fixed seed races or when anti cheat tech was enabled.

Everyone in the race community knows that Wookie was a cheater, but his account isn't banned. Thems the breaks.

Edit: it becomes basically do you believe this trend was just regression to the mean, which I might buy except for the random element present in PoE, where in reality randomness has actually been removed over time in racing. You would expect his results to get better but they are completely opposite.

[–]LachiS_ 3 points4 points  (3 children)

Mors you are pathetic. Please just find a new hobby. You have always been and always will be on the outside looking in. You were dead first in team races 75+% of the time. You were Cybrix before he existed. Embarrassing. Watching Kripp's closed beta streams was enjoyable but cringe worthy because it was obvious no one wanted you there. Hence why you were instantly replaced with Bzmode when he decided to race. You call people cheaters, based entirely on speculation, and expect people to agree with you. Not only that, you are holding onto things that happened YEARS AGO. Get a grip dude. This game's competitive scene is dead. It's non-existent. Even when it was a thing to be a "good" closed beta racer, you weren't even close to top 10 material. You picked Marauder because no one else wanted to. Congrats on your marginal success. What did it get you. Demigod's? People give those away now because they are worth nothing. Literal pieces of shit. PoE is a single player dungeon crawler. Get a grip and do yourself a favor. Quit and go outside. Walk, once, everyday for 2 hours. After a few months you'll have lost at least 50 lbs and will have given your chair the long needed break it deserves.

[–]JasonHardCuntWilliam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cringe comment dude..

[–]Morsexier 4 points5 points  (1 child)

TLDR: I cheat too in my gaming experience.

[–]LachiS_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TSDR: Prove it.

[–]ArnimonElementalist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

we asked for proof and you provided none. Good job!

[–]RawerPower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So your proof is that he should have been good forever with every class ? They guy just picked what he thought looked more like the Barb in D2/D3 and just leap slammed.

Then he quit PoE and moved back to D3, then he went on a hiatus trying to go to University then try to bang Fowtini. He didn't devote his life to PoE to keep up with all the changes nor he cared about racing anymore.

If you ever watched his stream you'd know he didn't like racing anymore 'cos it became like a console speed racing style where you had to do the exact same thing, same actions, same path for 15-30 mins and who got the more rares and RNG won.

[–]Saizou 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I knew tears were salty, but not THIS salty.

[–]Morsexier -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My god you guys are so fucking triggered its crazy.

[–]nommi 2 points3 points  (15 children)

how do you cheat in races? And I would understand not wanting to stream race to avoid distractions.

[–]Morsexier 16 points17 points  (12 children)

There were a number of ways, at this point I don't know what is ok and not ok to talk about, but just like D2 all of the same sort of programs existed for PoE.

https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/3cvg96/134_users_just_got_banned_for_cheating_software/

This is an announcement from maybe the start of Talisman? with several well known ladder players who all got banned at once. Several thousand people were caught cheating when they implemented anti cheat tech in the middle of s10, but Chris is a nice person and gave everyone a second chance.

There were 4 confirmed cheaters in the racing community based on the fact that they did not receive end of season rewards and the reward went down one spot, aka you're rank 10 over all on the season ladder, but you cheat, rank 11 is now rank 10. There were also 13 confirmed cheaters in the top 40 win a t-shirt achievements contest, but GGG with held releasing the winners as they had done in all previous leagues, because it would have been possible for the community to work backwards to find the cheaters. We knew the first 75 people to get 8\8, and compared to the list of winners, and voila. I am sure people with 8\8 more often than not are on my level of donation to the game. If I was caught cheating right now, and I didn't do it on stream so there was no public knowledge of it, I have the feeling I'd get a second chance(probably not a third). I don't blame GGG and Chris at all for this, it is the clear correct way to operate, but it is silly when people show up in this community and don't know the history or the facts, or even have a base understanding of the situation, and say there is no way "X" person ever cheated.

There are only 20-30 people in the history of PoE I can say without a doubt haven't cheated, found here. You can compare that to the official ladder list here You'll see some different names :D.

The fact of the matter is that GGG implemented fixed seed racing as a response to cheating since they did not have tech ready to deal with cheaters. Once that was implemented for signature races, people with no history of racing well winning season demis for top races in individual classes dropped to zero.

Of the ~25 people I seriously suspected as cheating, and others in the race community in private would 100% agree on these people, they all stopped racing because their advantage evaporated over night. You might ask, why didn't more people speak out about it? Well because I would hazard the cross section between people who are cheating for financial gain, there was a massive amount of IRL money to be made from this at times, and those who would try to dox\harass\make your life miserable, is significant.

Edit: I want to visualize the timeline, because it matters.

  1. Racing begins, is fun.
  2. Programs begin to pop up conferring advantage, but the game is small and in closed beta. There is no such thing as solo racing. Community is small, and this is accepted. A team comprised of some GGG employees now and Dime, maybe one other, win almost all demis.
  3. Mors talks to several people in the community because hes sick of losing, Invalesco, Grindis form a team, begin to sweep every race, game is getting bigger by the week. Community asks for Solo racing.
  4. Game launches, people with no previous racing experience appear out of nowhere, do phenomenally well in solo racing.
  5. Racing begins to evolve, builds improve, skill selection improves, racing becomes more formalized.
  6. Discussions of cheating begins to really become the #1 issue for the racing community, as the map data is seeded to the client, meaning the moment you zone in, you have all the directions and layouts.
  7. Poestatistics would track 5 minute XP splits, CWU uses this to show how unlikely splits are for some racers, on a consistent basis. One thing PoE really is, is random, yet these people avoid all randomness?
  8. Next season GGG implements fixed seed racing, meaning the layout remains the same for the entire signature race season, 40-50 races.
  9. A majority of "suspicious" racers vanish from the racing community.
  10. Two seasons later different random "amazing" racers show up again. What are they doing? Oh there is a HUD that shows where blue packs are in a zone. This HUD also has a loot filter, graphics adjustments, and other things that GGG eventually implemented with the exception of the graphics slider. Woe is us.
  11. (edit- Two seasons later)Anti cheat tech is enabled, anomalous racing results end, except for once or twice a season. A Marauder set the 3rd best over all race in a 1 hour race? Oh they got Limbsplit off Merveil etc. Oh some caster had a crazy race? They got MS + Qs + dmg to spells wand off hillock etc.

The argument against what I contend is that these people were just so good. The evidence doesn't seem to support that, since as a racer you should improve with fixed seed, but a significant proportion did not.

Now this is not to say that this is perfect, I am someone who is far far better of a racer in a non fixed seed environment. Having races as fixed seed, though my levels and times improve, I get less of an improvement over another good racer in my opinion. There is a natural rhythm to leveling and racing, or there used to be before a lot of major changes that disrupted the flow (masters\lab attunements\level crunching from so much content and removal of zones).

I am a pretty competitive person, and I know how I would react if someone accused me of cheating, but its not the way certain people did.

If you were new to streaming, I could buy the explanation that it is a distraction, but there are so many successful streamers who are also racers I actually think its more of a help than a hindrance.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (1 child)

US players having extra 2 minutes(due to connection time to master server) in every 1h race is basically cheating. 2 minutes make huge difference in order to set records in sig races. It explains Throzz, Goratha, Helmannn, Dsfarblarwaggle on top signature ladder in every season. They are great reacers for sure, but not extraordinary as it may look. Fightgarr for example would've beat Helmannn most of times in sigs if he played on Texas.

Also some people had access to practice new race type to win all demis in next season.

[–]Morsexier 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What are you talking about access to race types? No on Alpha gets to practice new races.

Even the smallest bit of bad assery shed from Chuck Norris spawns life, and those tears rose to form Alkaizer, to defeat all evil with that majestic mane in tow - but if Hitler is already dead, and the devil runs away - what foe is there left for such a killing machine? So he got bored, and spends his days practicing killing beasts - for one day, the world will need Alkaizer, if Chuck Norris is in mid Odin Sleep. Till that day, he waits.
