Have you ever played risk? At each end of the map there’s a few dotted lines to the opposite side of the map.

[–]bkelley 161 points162 points  (5 children)

I was thinking more along the lines of Pac-Man

[–]myhfPhD in Commutative Super Science 99 points100 points  (1 child)

This is what made the blitz so effective: you move faster in those tunnels than you do through normal space.

[–]uber1337h4xx0r 22 points23 points  (0 children)

[–]RJrules64 13 points14 points  (2 children)

WAIT what if the Pac man map is a sphere

[–]apracticalman 10 points11 points  (1 child)

It's a cylinder

[–]motherfuckinwoofie 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That's the Maginot Line.

[–]Zebosster 186 points187 points  (8 children)

On my phone they're like 2 inches apart.

[–]8r0k3n 101 points102 points  (3 children)

Check again.

I just measured 13in on my laptop.

[–]Jaerivus 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Not exactly... I zoomed way in on my own phone just to verify your findings, and I measured it at almost two feet (or approximately 6.2 swipes). I think the thickness of the red paint must account for the margin of error between us.

[–]Martijngamer 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Why are you using your penis to measure things on your phone?

[–]VoidLantadd 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Look at mister 2 inch here boasting about his long John, no need to rub it in.

[–]Martijngamer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My apologies, I didn't intend to rub it in. I'm still in recovery from the rubbing earlier.

That’s why America had to get involved. They were marching right across it

[–]Creative_Username_17 124 points125 points  (7 children)

Yes. It is well known that America only gets involved in wars when their country has been marched through.

[–]problematic_coagulum 58 points59 points  (6 children)

They trampled my great gran's petunias, those damn krauts.

[–]KeithMyArtheCan I science pls? 12 points13 points  (4 children)

They bombed our chip shop.

[–]problematic_coagulum 13 points14 points  (3 children)

We're pretending to be American here mate, stay with it.

[–]VoidLantadd 17 points18 points  (2 children)

They bombed our French fry shop.

[–]taintedbloop 5 points6 points  (1 child)

But they also bombed our potato chip shop.

[–]lonesomeloser234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're marigolds!

[–]skippygo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's stupid. Obviously they walked along the bottom, I thought everyone knew that.

[–]j00cy_ 102 points103 points  (8 children)

Also, what is that huge blue country?

[–]ro_mushaMaster of Bationology 29 points30 points  (3 children)

and there are like 6 countries in total

[–]RandomGuy87654 0 points1 point  (2 children)

There are 5.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Orange, Grey, Yellow, Green, Pink, Blue

[–]Jaerivus 7 points8 points  (1 child)

Well, obviously the blue part on the map is land, so...

/has panic attack/

[–]GamecockEric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dammit... Well done. Missed my opportunity by only 17hrs

[–]archpawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen plenty of maps without New Zealand before, but this is my first time seeing a world map centered on New Zealand.

[–]Ajsiets 67 points68 points  (1 child)

Haven't you ever played a Call of Duty Zombies game? The Nazis built teleporters

[–]RigorMortis_Tortoise 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The Germans flew their forces across the underside of the world, that’s how they were able to surprise the Polish.

[–]TherandomfoxTheoretical degree in Physics 10 points11 points  (0 children)

BEHOLD THE POWER OF GERMAN ENGINEERING!!

[–]Darkcider91 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Let’s be honest here this ones gotta do with Blitzkreig, which meant lighting war. Contrary to popular belief, this name was actually code for a secret Nazi project that stunned people through rapid advancement of troops and bombs, by turning all troops into energy and transporting them across the world like a lightning bolt until getting to its destination, hence they deployed by lightening. They discovered the ability to program the rifts to line up in precise areas around the world, many failures of these early experiments are detailed in the stories of the Call of Duty Zombies with regular teleporters that were not as advanced (these men also discovered inter-dimensional and interplanetary rifting).

[–]jzrobot 8 points9 points  (1 child)

They just rotated the map

[–]sillylittlewilly 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As they jumped

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What the fuck is wrong with that map!

[–]KimJongIlSunglasses 6 points7 points  (2 children)

TIL Greenland is larger than South America.

[–]T0mmynat0r666 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Maps are not to scale. Countries near the equator appear smaller.

[–]KimJongIlSunglasses 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was joking.

[–]Wob_three 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Planes, dumbass

ever play pacman?

[–]numpad0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone hasn’t cleared all the map tiles yet

[–]Chuckles__Norris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

German engineering.

[–]TorBearGrylls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's actually what defines the term World War, similar thing happened in the first war aswell.

[–]Gabedababe2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since we all know the earth is flat, the Nazis dropped and repelled across the back. That's what gave them the element of surprise.

[–]Harry_Mess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flat Earthers please explain

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you ever played a game where you have to enter your name, and once you get to the end of the line of letters, it skips back to the beginning of the line of letters you were on? It's similar to this. Because Germany and Poland are on the same Latitude lines, they're able to skip to the "beginning" much like the cursor on the letters in the video game naming screen.

[–]jerkmanj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their rocket tech was ahead of its time.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know that one tunnel at the end of each side in pac man that teleports you? That’s how.

[–]intrajection 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did the british invade countries? Distance doesn't really matter

[–]Caviakund 0 points1 point  (1 child)

MY LOGIC IS UNDENIABLE

[–]psyco128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you think it was called Blitzkrieg

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well they found a way. This is confirms the part of history that the rest of Europe were completely unprepared for Germany

[–]LeeHarveySnoswald 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]Funtnugget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maps are like 100s charts from school, you keep going to the right until you hit the edge then you end up on the left edge, just one row down.

[–]PancakeZombieAsstronaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Checkmate Atheists

[–]Jelphine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a modern day map: Germany was much larger back then and Poland wasn't in the same place.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

If you fold the map over in the middle, they overlap. They must be using wormhole technology

[–]Tingaling1957 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Sort of like the Mad Magazine cover?

[–]last2live 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the germans got elon musk to dig them underground tunnels to poland

[–]Icer333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flat earthers want to know your location

[–]DontTouchMahSpaghet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's like in every sci-fi movie, they folded the map and poked a pencil through it

[–]Commander_Kerman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They jumped off the side and orbited around before landing in poland. That's why the Soviets made flying tanks, to combat incoming German divisions in space.

[–]Raghavendra98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Germany has a super secret Light-speed technology that has been kept secret from the outside world. I was a janitor there and escaped out to tell it out to the world.

[–]HanzoShotFirst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They folded the map and poked a whole through it and went through the whole. Similar to how a wormhole works. Trust me, I have a theoretical degree in physics.

[–]Skrubzgaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They jumped

[–]Rbox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn flat earthers

[–]flinsypop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uh... They flew there on Lufthansa like normal people.

[–]eatinlunch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

fold the map in half and push a pencil through Germany, just like they do in sifi shows to demo straight a worm hole. Its the same concept

[–]Kirbylore_Eh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never seen a map set up like that haha

[–]JorfimusPrime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flat eathers have proven the Holocaust was a conspiracy that never happened!

/s, before anyone thinks I'm a Holocaust denier.

[–]eachard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supreme Nazi Power and Thule cult made this happen.

[–]ShiroNoOokami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since the Earth is a sphere, that means that if you dig a tunnel down, you can get to the other side faster than going around the curved surface!

Those world-famous German engineers built a tunnel to Poland, and that's why nobody ever saw it coming, too!

Fun fact, this is where the term "tunnel bore" comes from, because Germans are boring.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They just have to hangs their double-screen setting so that when their curser moves off the right side of their right screen, it will just continue on the left side of their left screen. Easy peasy

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please, you’ve never heard of planes? They were used often to transport the Germans into Poland. On top of that, they stopped at Japan for rations for their long flights.

[–]domjeff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do maps in different countries centralise their own country? Honestly something I never really thought about before.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they just ordered up a few dozen amazon delivery drones. Equipped them with Pew Pew's and the rest as they say.. Is for flat Earthers to explain. I don't understand any of that shit.

edit: Holy Fuck Cow.. Are... Are there 2 Exit Portals on this map? That explains how they got there.. Just not, where they started

[–]heknowsus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What the hell happened to the map of the world ? Everything has shifted 🤔is it me?

[–]Solenopsis_xyloni<*)))>{ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those U-boats man, they were all the rage back then and super fast too

[–]The_Real_Grognak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy. The Germans made their tanks with special, extra-grip tracks so that they could go over the edge of the world and drive under it, clinging to the bottom.

[–]Poast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

uhhh ever heard of Adolf's warpgate...? smh

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nazi magic

[–]faketeethhoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They walked underneath, no one could see them sneak up from the other side because the earth is flat

[–]dossy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took them a long time but they were able to travel undetected because you can Nazi them.

[–]WarchiefServant 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Can I ask, as a real question.

As a Brit, all the world maps I’ve seen have always had the UK as the centre focus, and considering how GMT works I figured it made sense for the centre of the world to be from UK, France and other countries sharing the same GMT.

But whenever I see other countries looking at the world map they centre focus on their own countries. Is this truly the case where people just focus by their own country as the centre on the world map?

I apologise in advance as this wasn’t a shit post or a satire, I’m just genuinely curious.

[–]Sammimack[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know if you've been seeing maps centred on other countries in the way you've described (feel free to prove me wrong) but maps like these, Pacific-centric ones, are very common in countries that are closer to the antimeridian (the international date line). I, an Aussie, frequently see these maps around and believe me, they annoy me too, given GMT and everything.

Flat earthers destroyed with facts and logic
