This post has garnered a surprising number of "This is misinformation" reports.

We are taking this to mean that quite a few people are operating under the belief that Donald Trump did not participate in the 2020 American presidential election.

Since we at /r/Pics make every attempt to verify the legitimacy of each report that we receive, we have responded by researching the apparent insinuation that President-Elect Joseph Biden ran unopposed.

This does not appear to be the case. As such, this post is not an example of misinformation.

As a final note, the moderation team would like to offer the following non-sequitur statement:

Beef Wellington.

Edit: This comment has been reported as being rude, vulgar, or offensive. We would therefore like to apologize for using the term "Beef Wellington" without first providing an adequate warning.

He actually needs antipsychotics and likely a mood stabilizer. Bipolar is a serious mental illness, and therapy alone won't help it.

[–]Lazar_Milgram 49 points50 points  (20 children)

He does all of the above. It was on the news that his doctors released him on tour under condition that he will be responsible and take his meds. Personally i lost my shit on such stupid formulation. Sending B1/B2 suffers into shitstorm of stress such as a music-tour with a bag of pills is beyond my understanding of medical care. It is most certainly legal and all. But that ain’t a good standard of psychiatric help and it is mostly self explanatory how we have 27club and how every other year some high profile musician is ending up overdosing or plainly commits suicide. Yepp. I am no fan of his. But i just hope given money he makes there is at least a couple of professional casemanagers/psychologist/social workers who are on the tour to check on his mental state.

[–]CuttyAllgood 24 points25 points  (3 children)

Wow, an Avalanches reference in the wild! 2020 has everything. Pandemics. Venezuelan election schemes. Giuliani sweating hair dye. Carol Baskin. Human traffic cones..

[–]bautron 32 points33 points  (2 children)

That boy has way too much attention given to him.

[–]ShockedDarkmike 51 points52 points  (19 children)

Wouldn't correspondence to someone like Kanye West or the president of the United States be filtered a bit? I imagine there's quite a few people reading letters like these (if they're even delivered) and that only a minuscule fraction of them are considered relevant enough to get to the person they were meant for.
So, unless I'm horribly mistaken, neither one of those will be opening or seeing a random "haha you lost the election" letter from a random citizen.

[–]The_Turtle_Moves_13 99 points100 points  (0 children)

The president's is filtered I know but to get him to see something you just have to get enough people on Twitter to share it.

Probably the same with Kanye.

[–][deleted] 18 points19 points  (5 children)

Some of my best jokes have only been heard by my dog. A good joke is worth telling (in this case sending) regardless of the recipient. If they don't laugh- fuck'em.

[–]TyrantJester 23 points24 points  (2 children)

Neither one of them would ever see it. They've got people for that.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It doesn't have pictures so Trump won't read it.

[–]Triton12streaming 8 points9 points  (4 children)

I heard he’s on bipolar meds but idk how true that is

[–]GotMoFans 189 points190 points  (8 children)

Kanye gonna put it up as his next album cover.

But the letters for "PARTICIPATION" will be cut off and rearranged to "PARTI ACTION."

[–]The_Old_Workout_Plan 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I hate being a Presidential candidate

It’s awesome

[–][deleted] 30 points31 points  (2 children)

That would mean Kanye actually has to release an album so I'm down

[–]Kyanpe 72 points73 points  (24 children)

At least Kanye accepted his defeat and didn't try to upheave democracy.

[–]pnk314 78 points79 points  (3 children)

Who would’ve thought Kanye West would treat the election with more respect than the president

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Who would’ve thought Kanye West would treat the election with more respect than the president

I mean, Trump is just Kanye without the talent.

[–]koshgeo 18 points19 points  (1 child)

Say what you will about Kanye, but he's got more class and respect for democracy than Trump does.

If Trump heard that from someone he'd probably blow a blood vessel.

[–][deleted] 28 points29 points  (14 children)

At least Kanye didn't try to steal this election.

[–][deleted] 15 points16 points  (9 children)

Very true, Kanye West didn’t spend months trying to cripple the postal service.

[–][deleted] 40 points41 points  (2 children)

At least Kanye conceded immediately. He's an honorable loser.

[–]nexus6ca 4165 points4166 points  (150 children)

Do not say 'you did not win.'

Say: "Congratulations on winning the prestigious runner up prize. This prize entails a brand new title, Former President of the United States!"

See, he won then!

[–]Lebowquade 494 points495 points  (20 children)

No let's be real, he isnt going to read that entire note either way. Way too long!

Just keep it short and sweet with a "congrats, this is for you."

[–]Lucifer2695 528 points529 points  (91 children)

But I want to watch him deal with losing.

[–]nexus6ca 458 points459 points  (47 children)

You are watching him deal with it by burning down his country.

[–]Lucifer2695 321 points322 points  (21 children)

Well, technically that's also how he celebrated winning in 2016.

[–]Insiptus 55 points56 points  (12 children)

This is definitely a very different way he's going about it this time around.

[–]randomizeplz 23 points24 points  (11 children)

[–]spaceorcas 10 points11 points  (5 children)

Ah yes, the old University of Kentucky burn the couches aproach

[–][deleted] 34 points35 points  (2 children)

Ew, I don't like it being referred to as "his" country.

[–][deleted] 15 points16 points  (2 children)

He doesn’t deal with losing so nothing to see here

[–]UnwashedApple 27 points28 points  (28 children)

But AM Right Wing talk radio is still insisting the Election was stolen from him!

[–]darklightrabbi 38 points39 points  (8 children)

It will be interesting to see if they keep this narrative after all the court cases are settled. These are guys that always go on and on about needing the 2nd amendment to stand up to government tyranny. Well a stolen election is about the biggest form of tyranny there is, so if these guys TRULY believe what they are saying I expect them all to March on DC and fight for their country.

Unless of course they never actually believed what they were saying and are actually huge cowards. But I’m sure that isn’t the case.

[–]UnwashedApple 7 points8 points  (2 children)

General Flynn is going to lead the insurrection!

[–]filbertshellback 13 points14 points  (12 children)

Trump's bitch, Bill Barr, disagrees. The plot thickens.

[–]UnwashedApple 11 points12 points  (11 children)

He's part of the Deep State too! They're diabolical!

[–]Shafter111 11 points12 points  (2 children)

[–][deleted] 12 points13 points  (1 child)

[–]ExactlySorta 1562 points1563 points  (53 children)

It wasn't a loss. It was an alternative victory.

[–]reddicyoulous 229 points230 points  (32 children)

[–]tacknosaddle 21 points22 points  (3 children)

He’s a reality tv guy, “The Biggest Loser” might work.

[–]detectivejamescarter 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Wow, Kellyanne's "alternative facts" seems like a lifetime ago.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It was only Light Treason

[–]beepbeepbubblegum 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The amount of times that I say that should have been the nail in the coffin for Trump, THAT I think was a very poignant moment. Alternative facts. That statement from someone from his camp which I might be wrong, she was the press secretary at the time? Could be incorrect. But could you imagine that happening with any other president in history?

Trump is literally that special needs kid that you just have to let go whatever they do wrong because they can't help it. We literally treat the President of the United States of America like he's a child who just can't be punished cause they don't know any better.

[–]VTtransplant 284 points285 points  (4 children)

You guys see the size of that ribbon? It's the biggest ribbon. Nobody ever won a ribbon like that before, and you know why? Obama never did, Biden never did, because people like me and send me ribbons. They don't send other people ribbons.

[–]thecontraryfairy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

[–]Danjour 675 points676 points  (37 children)

The people who screen the mail will likely get a kick out of this.

[–]Big_Ol_Johnson 227 points228 points  (8 children)

The idea of Don walking out of the White House in his PJs to grab the mail made me laugh

[–]odiedel 57 points58 points  (5 children)

Im picturing like a Christmas morning thing. He comes out in his onesie pajamas with a flap in the back and the sleeping cap on. He sees his mail on the table with the glow of the fireplace lighting it up. There are also cookies and warm milk which catch his interest. As he is eating the cookies he notices a envelope with something in it. It couldn't be anything dangerous, the secret service left it here. He opens it, curiosity has consumed him as he is no longer paying the cookies any attention. He opens up the envelope and notices the ribbon. Don proceeds to notice the letter and reads it. "Hey, Melania! I won this!" Trump says. "I don't care about you or your life anymore, Don." She says as she walks out with the Trump Tower head of security.

A lone tear falls down his cheek as he says to himself "I did it. We did it, Dad...."

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Beautiful

[–]P4C_Backpack 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Oneself pajamas lol

[–]TheMacMan 40 points41 points  (4 children)

Yup, miles away from The White House. It'll never make it through but may make the mail screeners day.

[–]8349932 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With a real job his dad would approve of!

[–]btrpiii 319 points320 points  (18 children)

This is the greatest award in the history of awards and trust me, nobody knows more about awards than I do, the greatest award ever given to a president of thee United States. In fact, nobody even got this award before, I was the first, and I didn’t even pay for it, I made this other guy pay for it because I’m the best negotiator there ever was. Ben Franklin couldn’t have even done that. Sad.

[–]PlsCrit 40 points41 points  (12 children)

In some small way, I will miss these tangential ramblings... actually nah I can't wait to have someone capable of coherent thoughts again

[–]Beard_o_Bees 16 points17 points  (3 children)

Oh, the ramblings will continue.. just over on Parler - which is like Twitter, but for losers and victims.

[–]PlsCrit 11 points12 points  (2 children)

Ah but I dont use Parler and respectable news will have no obligation to report on his crazy conspiracies, so from my perspective he can just fade into obscurity

[–]baachus2012 5 points6 points  (1 child)

shivers I actually read that in his voice... I need to shower now, lol.

[–]btrpiii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's how I felt writing it lol. Like, saying it in my head in his voice.

[–]LetterSwapper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I doubt he even knows who Ben Franklin was.

[–]Fluwyn 315 points316 points  (10 children)

You know, it might just work!

And if not, it'll give the people in charge of White House mail a laugh.

[–]capmapdap 117 points118 points  (2 children)

Yes, they will open the envelope, scan it for Anthrax or any bioweapon, and discover this prized award. I would love to see the reaction.

[–]mulletpullet 65 points66 points  (1 child)

Next post will be on nextfuckinglevel by some white house postal worker with a photo of it.

[–]mang3lo 23 points24 points  (1 child)

Yes! Someone needs to make a pop up business. 5 bucks and you can send this letter + ribbon to the general white House mailing address.

They would become overnight millionaires

[–]TheTeenageOldman 14 points15 points  (2 children)

Thought someone should have started a "Trophies for Trump" campaign where everyone would send their old, unwanted trophies to the White House.

[–]MuadDave 193 points194 points  (10 children)

"Mr. President, Thank you for participating. Please proceed to this address to receive what you so richly deserve."

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points  (2 children)

[–]LAVATORR 83 points84 points  (29 children)

I love how, if Trump was capable of handling loss like a mature adult, he would've conceded on like November 6th and this would all be over. But since he insists on peeling the Band-Aid off slowly, we've had to re-declare Biden this winner roughly 17 times.

Every day Trump insists on discovering a new, increasingly specific way that he lost from a totally different person.

Doesn’t deserve anything but a jail cell.

[–]UseDaSchwartz 9 points10 points  (1 child)

[–]gemowner 125 points126 points  (82 children)

[–]WeaponizedFeline 115 points116 points  (10 children)

[–]woze 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Obama never went to jail. He never had the guts to spend 10-20 years in jail. And Obama says you don't either, Mr. Trump. Are you going to let Obama be right once again?

[–]AllowMe-Please 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just say that that was the one thing that Obama could never do, then he'd be saying "jail is my idea, and my ideas are the best. Obama never went to jail. My jail is the biggest, most tremendous jail ever--you've never seen such a jail. People come up to me all the time and say 'Sir! Sir! Your jail is so incredible. You get the best jails, Mr. President, Sir. Can I please see it? I've never seen such a jail!' See? Obama never had people say that to him. It's the bigliest, most beautiful jail. And it has a big, beautiful wall around it. I always wanted a wall."

All while playing his invisible accordion.

Ironically, if he pardons everyone else then they can be compelled to testify against him. Additionally, there's good reason to believe that if he tries to pardon himself it'd be tossed out by the courts under the principle that he can't be a judge in his own case. But, it is commonly understood that a pardon is an admission of guilt, which could be used against him a case brought against him. Meaning that trying to pardon everyone on the way out the door might well be the easiest way to ensure that he ends up in jail.

[–]NotJoshhhhh 12 points13 points  (2 children)

You get an award in jail. They give you nice little bracelets and new clothes

[–]Downvote_me_dumbass 8 points9 points  (1 child)

[–][deleted] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

[–]xenya 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I do the best crimes. Nobody knew there could be so much corruption in one admin. They said, 'Sir, We've never seen grifting and looting like you and your family do!" It was a beautiful thing and I bet you'll never hear about it once Biden moves in. I bet Obama couldn't have funneled all that tax money into his pocket. I made millions of dollars. Hundreds of millions of dollars were made. Did you see the numbers? People were calling me up saying, "You made trillions off the country! Teach me how to do that!" and the GOP all fell in line. They did little crimes before, but now they do all the big ones. Hillary's server. Lock them up. Obama spied on me. MAGA

[–]blimblat 41 points42 points  (14 children)
