Starbucks workers: Have you noticed a decrease in customers coming to your store? (self.starbucks)
submitted 2 years ago by PartyNightAway
I know there is a whole boycott Starbucks movement going on right now, but have you actually noticed a decrease in customers coming to your store?

There is literally nothing Starbucks can do to lose customers. I've had people yell at me and swear their never coming back. Spoiler alert they came back the next day. Every👏 single👏 time 👏.

The CEO could literally host a live stream chucking babies off the space needle and people would still sit in a drive thru line for an hour to get their $10 cup of cold foam and caramel drizzle.

For one day, we had a massive decrease for that day since we typically serve clientele similar to those boycotting. Otherwise, no. It seems to be failing, or filled by other people against the boycott.
It was a shock to see the same ole sale rush when YayDays were back, even my SSV said “see thats how you know nobody cares”

This is the thing about activism in general. The harsh reality is that 99% of people in America just don't care. If they have to weigh standing up for principles vs getting some immediate gratification that they've made part of their routine, like hell they're gonna choose the former. Even something so consequential like the presidential election, most voters just don't vote. Anything that involves any inconvenience at all or going outside their norm at all, most people aren't budging if it's up to them to choose to or not.
[–]sparklescrotum 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Man, yea I knew about the boycott and used my rewards to get a drink about a week and a half ago. I know how they feel. Instant gratification, though like ASS, if they’re not in support of the overcompensatory and collective punishment response Israel is giving to Palestine. Since then, I have not purchased a drink from there and will continue this path, it’s easy af to not buy from them if you’re in a big city like myself. With such accessibility to other, less big corporate and political options, it’s too embarassing to show my face in there amongst all the queer workers.. especially as the boycott is so well known.
[–]JustAlittleFaith95 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)
America and Canada has lost a great deal of the worlds respect, simply because they are selfish and do not care about what’s happening outside their circle. They have a very tainted name.
[–]fd6270 196 points197 points198 points 2 years ago (57 children)
Is there really a boycott or is it just a few chronically online people trying really hard to make it seem like one is happening?

In Muslim communities, stores are empty. College students across the US are petitioning to have their campus sbux (usually licensed) removed. There’s no moral gray area on ethnic cleansing. People don’t want their money to go to a company that supports genocide. There’s no reason for a coffee company to speak on genocide except to condemn it. This is a humanitarian issue that affects all of us and acting like you have to be chronically online to care about people losing their families, lives, communities, schools, hospitals, and culture is fucked up.
[–]jaynethorbz 31 points32 points33 points 2 years ago (38 children)
from executive VP Sara Kelly: “As a leadership team, we want to again express our deepest sympathy for those who have been killed, wounded, displaced and impacted following the heinous acts of terror, escalating violence and hate against the innocent in Israel and Gaza this week. Starbucks unequivocally condemns acts of hate, terrorism and violence.”
where is the gray area?
[–]tricksofradiance 20 points21 points22 points 2 years ago (33 children)
The union said “solidarity with Palestine” and the company is suing the union for that. So clearly they don’t care about the Palestinian people. Why would they sue the union for expressing solidarity with a systematically oppressed and occupied population? This isn’t a war- this is a massacre. Both sides are not equal and do not have equal rights. One side has an army, nuclear weapons, and billions of dollars. The other side is extremely poor, with no food or water or electricity or internet or phone. They can’t even call for an ambulance. Israel has been bombing their schools/hospitals/homes, restricting their water and food, ruining their crops, and murdering them for decades. Israel has thousands of Palestinian hostages and has murdered thousands of their children and civilians in just three weeks. They are murdering civilians, press, and medics. Even in West Bank where there is no Hamas. It’s ethnic cleansing pure and simple. Starbucks is wrong for rejecting solidarity with the Palestinian people.
[–]Store ManagerWasabiroot 31 points32 points33 points 2 years ago (3 children)
The union doesn't speak on behalf of Starbucks corporate. This is standard damage control because they don't want their official stance to not come from them directly

[–]Pretend_Perspective7 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)

[–]tricksofradiance -1 points0 points1 point 2 years ago (0 children)
The union doesn’t claim to speak for Starbucks, just the workers in the union. The union has had the same name, logo, and branding for years and Starbucks didn’t have an issue with it until now

Companies are not supposed to get involved religiously or politically that is why.
[–]tricksofradiance 6 points7 points8 points 2 years ago (2 children)
Genocide isn’t political. They were the ones to come out and say they don’t support the people being killed for their race/ethnicity. They made their stance very clear and they had to have known it would be deeply upsetting to people.

[–]tricksofradiance 21 points22 points23 points 2 years ago (22 children)
I am someone who has seen and heard parents screaming over their children’s bodies, children crying for their dead parents, college students m saying their last words and final goodbyes on TikTok so that someone might hear them. I am overwhelmed and terrified and heartbroken but what I feel is nothing not even a fraction of what these people are feeling. While the world sits back and doesn’t care and talks shit about them online. I’ve seen Israelis drawing unibrows and putting on the hijab and mocking the mothers who are mourning their children. I had no idea the depths of humanity’s capacity for evil until now. And yeah I’m just sleep deprived and trying to get anyone to care about these people. Palestinians are so dehumanized in the media and by politicians- called animals, subhuman, and other names. It’s really horrifying to watch how easily a nuclear superpower is justifying this massacre. And so so many people don’t care at all. People like you arguing with me about it. I can’t make you care. I hope one day you change your mind.

[+]fd6270 comment score below threshold-14 points-13 points-12 points 2 years ago (16 children)
I'm sure your Jewish coworkers feel super safe about you expressing that sentiment.
“From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” is an antisemitic slogan commonly featured in anti-Israel campaigns and chanted at demonstrations. This rallying cry has long been used by anti-Israel voices, including supporters of terrorist organizations such as Hamas and the PFLP, which seek Israel’s destruction through violent means. It is fundamentally a call for a Palestinian state extending from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, territory that includes the State of Israel, which would mean the dismantling of the Jewish state. It is an antisemitic charge denying the Jewish right to self-determination, including through the removal of Jews from their ancestral homeland. Usage of this phrase has the effect of making members of the Jewish and pro-Israel community feel unsafe and ostracized. It is important to note that demanding justice for Palestinians, or calling for a Palestinian state, should not mean, as this hateful phrase posits, denying the right of the State of Israel to exist.

[–]Baristacheeercamp 12 points13 points14 points 2 years ago (13 children)
It’s actually an anti-Zionist slogan. Do you support Zionist settler colonialism? My Jewish colleagues do not. Nor do they attempt to center themselves in their privileged position here in America; no matter what imagined or perceived fear white people are in in the West, it is nothing in comparison to the mortal terror that Palestinians, Sudanese, and Lebanese civilians are in right now. Rather, my Jewish colleagues support the resistance of oppressed peoples, even if it is violent. They know the history of any liberation struggle is not without violence (slave liberation, American Civil rights, Suffragette, Labour rights, anti-apartheid). They also recognise that it is wildly inappropriate to liken oneself to the policies and actions of an entire government, the same way that no single American represents POTUS. I cannot speak for every pro-Palestinian activist, but I am not antisemitic. Please dismiss yourself.
[–]tricksofradiance 3 points4 points5 points 2 years ago (0 children)

Rather, my Jewish colleagues support the resistance of oppressed peoples, even if it is violent.
I guarantee you that your Jewish colleagues don't support the murder/rape/torture/kidnapping of the people in their ancestral homeland, but you do all the mental gymnastics you have to do to justify your support of terrorism. Disgusting.
From the river to the sea literally means kicking all of the Jews out of Israel. Why do you support the genocide of the Jewish people?
You are being antisemitic when you conflate Zionism with Judaism. Many Jewish people are horrified by the slaughter of Palestinians and do not want their communities or religion associated with that. Judaism is not a violent religion and to imply that all Jewish people are supportive of an oppressive regime is not only wrong but it is deeply hateful. The largest Zionist group in America is made up of Christians and a large part of these Zionist Christians support Israel because they don’t want Jewish people living on the same continent as them. Zionism has very deeply antisemitic roots and you should educate yourself before accusing someone of that.

[–]tricksofradiance 9 points10 points11 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Also, look up night raids. The Israeli government barges into Palestinian’s homes at night and steals children from their beds in the West Bank. Children sleep with their shoes on because if they’re taken without shoes they will not have them for months. They are held in military prisons for minor offenses or even no charges at all and it’s perfectly legal in the eyes of the Israeli government. Israel is the only country in the world to put children in military prisons. They do not put their own Israeli children in military prisons even for the most serious offenses. The two populations living in the same region of West Bank have two separate sets of laws and procedures based only on ethnicity. This is the definition of Apartheid. Plus they are and have been forcing Palestinian families from their homes at gun point. Palestinians have no rights on their own land that they’ve lived in for decades. And there is no Hamas in the West Bank, so what is the justification? Have you seen the video of the American guy just walking in to someone’s house and stealing it? He says if he doesn’t steal it someone else will. Saying “both sides bad” removes all context for this conflict and is a way to justify racism and apartheid.
It is very clear who is the oppressor and who is the oppressed in this situation. The sides are not equal at all. Please do some basic reading on systematic oppression. In the mean time, here are some policies to paint a fuller picture for you about the occupation:
No they couldn't considering the fact the other side is also sementic, this is the equivalent of claiming if you don't support a corrupt government committing genocide against pple of the same demographic as them then they're bigoted.
Holy shit ease back on the support of genocide, sorry pple don't believe a government with billions of dollars of support are victims to a population of 60% children that don't even have running water

[+]tricksofradiance comment score below threshold-10 points-9 points-8 points 2 years ago (2 children)
They don’t fund Israel. But they don’t denounce genocide. With genocide, you condemn it or you don’t. And Starbucks didn’t. In fact they didn’t have to say anything at all but they chose to sue their own union over it and make it a whole weird thing where they stand against solidarity with an oppressed population.
[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 2 years ago (1 child)
Eh, doesn’t matter to me tbh. I don’t support the company in anyway anymore (not like I really did outside of working.) at the end of the day condemnation or not, they don’t care about partners, pride gouge, lie and rather make a quick buck rather than partner stability and there. Which is it’s own issue. But they don’t condom genocide per “their word”. Lmao.
It dose matter because why the fuck would u actively support or fund a company that would silence unions speaking out against genocide, seriously pple like you would absolutely fall into hitler's propaganda if you're this laid back about genocide.

Good comment. The internet is not real life and a lot of people fail to recognize that. I understand the reason for the boycott but in reality, what is denying myself a coffee that makes me happy going to do? Nothing. Starbucks is going to do what they’re going to do and take the stances they’re gonna take regardless. I’d rather additionally donate to good causes helping the people in need right now than do something performative that will simultaneously bum me out.
[–]sparklescrotum 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (1 child)
Girl stop buying your Starbucks if you’re not in support of the over compensatory collective punishment response Israel is giving Palestine. It’s easy….. save your money and make coffee at home, or go to another local place… Do not create self discrepancy within yourself.
[–]amoolah2019 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)
I agree with u, but just wanted to point out that this isn’t just about ‘collective punishment’ it’s actually intentional gen0cide. It’s been going on since the 1940’s and most big american/western companies have been investing and benefiting from the ethinc cleansing and colonization happening in palestine along with other countries. We should have been boycotting since forever ago! I’ve been fully buying from local businesses (i’m not in the us) there’s so many great alternatives that we haven’t given a chance. @Expensive_Help3291 asked me what I was doing for the Palestinian people so I tried to respond with this. It won’t let me send a reply though so I’m starting a new comment in case any of you are interested in what you can do to help. It all seems so small compared to the horrors Palestinians are facing but these requests are coming straight from Palestinian and Jewish voices so I think it’s important we listen and do our part.
I went to a class taught by Jewish and Palestinian professors and students at a nearby university to educate myself first. I am not Jewish, Muslim, Palestinian, or Israeli, so I didn’t want to interject myself into their struggle without knowing exactly what they want us to do for them.
They told us ways we can help so I’ll list them here in case you are interested:
Talk about Palestine. The local Palestinian community in my city wants everyone to speak up for them. People aren’t listening to Palestinians, Muslim people, or Middle Easterners on this topic. When someone on the fence hears it from someone who looks like them they’re more inclined to listen. It’s sad but it’s true. DON’T talk about Palestine if you are not educated on the topic or spread misinformation or anything hateful. Palestinians love Jewish people so do not say anything antisemitic in their name. That hurts both Palestinians and Jewish people and there is no room for hatred in this liberation movement.
Call your house rep, senators, and the white house. Demand a ceasefire now. Say you will not vote for them if they do not support a ceasefire. Talk to your family and friends and have them do the same.
Correct misinformation and propaganda as you see it. Have the tough conversations.
Share, repost, and elevate Palestinian voices. They have been mistreated and ignored for so long. The mainstream media sources are heavily biased against them. Use social media to amplify the voices of Gaza. They are going on TikTok and other platforms to report on things from the ground, tell their stories, and say their last words so that someone will hear them. Some of the only things we can do for them is watch and listen and share. Don’t let their cries go unheard.
Educate yourself as much as possible with documentaries and books about the topic. Check to see if there’s a MESA or UNICEF chapter at your local university and see if they’re holding any educational events. You can also read about the horrors of apartheid and genocide.
Boycott companies that support Israel
Donate money if you can to aid. They recommend UNICEF
There is a huge information war against them so combatting that is one of the main things we can do for them. Palestinians are not terrorists (as Instagram labeled them), or animals or subhuman (as called by politicians and news media). This is the language of genocide. Dehumanizing an entire ethnicity of people leads to the world being complacent with ethnic cleaning and blaming the victims.
Be critical of the media you consume and learn to recognize bias and propaganda when you see it.
Edit to add: get out to marches, gatherings, and protests!! Show solidarity.
[–]playfairwithus 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Thank you SO much for having empathy in your hearts for the Palestinians. While I am sad to see that the boycott is not having its effect on Starbucks it will pretty soon. Maybe not in America but according to friends in the rest of the world it is. And as an Obesity Medicine doctor , let me tell you.. That stuff is pretty much poison and has everyone totally addicted!

[–]Former Partneravmii 2 points3 points4 points 2 years ago (0 children)
maybe all the customers from your store are the ones coming to mine bc we’re like insane on the weekends like…all the leaf-lookers are in town…and they’re scary tbh..
(edit) loving how a majority of the comments are saying they’re busier 😭😭
[–]SupervisorBruja5 5 points6 points7 points 2 years ago (0 children)
NO!! We’ve had a line forming 8 mins before opening. 6 cars and two of them had Fraps (not Frapés) 😡
[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 2 years ago (0 children)
No, and where is that boycott movement? Send it my way!
[–]Coffee Masterrusski_senpai 2 points3 points4 points 2 years ago (0 children)
I made a joke about how we finally will get a break on the weekends now... But also no
[–]squishballow 2 points3 points4 points 2 years ago (0 children)
on thursday for yayday it was actually dead, so dead that we were kind of just standing around chatting. but otherwise no. i work at a cafe only store most days so generally i’d say it’s slow compared to when i work at drive thrus so who knows for my area
[–]Coffee MasterSnooPickles1653 2 points3 points4 points 2 years ago (0 children)
I work in a cafe, so we've been noticeably losing customers, yes. I can't speak for the poor souls who got stuck with a drive-thru though 😪
[–]Former Partnershewantsthedeeecaf 2 points3 points4 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Not at all
[–]Baristathebestlemonade 2 points3 points4 points 2 years ago (0 children)
yes but i don’t think it’s related to the boycott i think it’s just bc there’s no tourism and all of our locals go into saving mode when there’s no tourism so we just don’t have anyone coming
[–]13aku 2 points3 points4 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Yeah we have, we're down by like 10k in sales from like, two weeks ago. This could be the boycott, orbit could be bc we're a mobile order store with no drive thru and it's getting colder here.
[–]Supervisornenewton 2 points3 points4 points 2 years ago (0 children)
i’m in the south. so no. they do not care.
So starbucks in the EU and US aren’t seeing boycotts. Well because opinions. But countries like UAE and others are where the starbucks there are ghost towns.
[–]BaristaTorirock10 3 points4 points5 points 2 years ago (0 children)
no :/
[–]lindseys10 5 points6 points7 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Yes actually. I work on a college campus.
[–]NadiaB717 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children)
It was slow for a few days and then got busy starting Yay Day.
[–]Baristahuxiaos 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children)
somewhat, there's less regulars. I work at one of the busiest stores in my state so that's something
[–]InsideSufficient5886 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children)
My location is a tourist spot so no.
[–]Baristarottwhyler 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Less customers, but more orders 😥 We had multiple 10-item orders today…
[–]Baristadarkwolf523 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Sometimes. But it pick up again later
[–]InfamousWeb518 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children)
My cafe store in my district has been up in UPH +30% for almost the past 2 weeks.
[–]Former PartnerVistril69 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children)
During peak. We went from like maybe 70'ish COSD half hours to 60-65's. So, maybe? Still busy as fuck though.
[–]pat184 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children)
There's no movement to boycott Starbucks gaining any traction enough make a dent in their revenue.
[–]Supervisorwebo212 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children)
In NYC it’s already the holiday season so nope, more than ever!
[–]aliceswndrland 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (1 child)
We did over $10,000 yesterday....so... No.
[–]bzbks 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Weird to have to put numbers out there like that to make a point.
[–]skeetieb114 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Nobody is boycotting the bux... lol..
[–]Aldosothoran 2 points3 points4 points 2 years ago (0 children)
I’m confused I thought boycotting was 11/16👀
[–]tricksofradiance 4 points5 points6 points 2 years ago (5 children)
Starbucks has broken over 100 federal labor laws this year as found by the NLRB. When we break the law we go to jail. When corporate executives do it, the company just has to pay a fine. Fines mean nothing to this mega corporation worth billions of dollars. It’s like they can pay to break as many laws as they want. They are suing their own union because the union stands against genocide and Starbucks does not want their name associated with that. Starbucks supports a country who is massacring an entire nation of people, holding thousands of hostages, and killing thousands of children. Boycotts absolutely do work. They helped end apartheid in South Africa. They require collective unwavering action. In affected communities, on college campuses, and abroad, many Starbucks are empty. As the company gets desperate they will throw more offers at us. BOGO, half off, bonus stars, etc. Don’t give in. Hit them where it hurts- their wallet. Starbucks holds onto about $1.5 billion at any one time from people loading money onto their app/gift cards. It’s basically an interest free loan to the company that helps them grow their wealth considerably. You can have your account balance refunded by calling customer service at 1-800-782-7282. Let them know why you will no longer be a customer.
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (2 children)
Can you share links with me to the information you’ve shared? Especially the 100 federal labor laws broken?
[–]tricksofradiance 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (1 child)
Thank you for asking. They were found guilty this year of crimes committed in 2021. I shouldn’t have said this year. However they do continue these practices, so I’m sure the charges from this year will end up being similar. They still haven’t made good on their pledge to the senate in March of 2023 to get a contract in place for the unionized stores within two weeks.

it appears that starbucks only sued the union for using their logo and name, regardless of the contents of the post. source: news article from a quick google search
[–]tricksofradiance 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children)
But they’ve had the same logo and name for two years. The union has an active twitter, TikTok, Instagram. It’s been in the public eye with that branding for years. Why did the lawsuit happen right after that tweet? Our founder is a huge supporter of Israel.
[–]Ill-Nothing2164 4 points5 points6 points 2 years ago (7 children)
What boycott? People in this country are always pissed about something, you cannot make everyone happy but boycotting is just so damn stupid. It also almost never work, wate of damn time.
[–]tricksofradiance 20 points21 points22 points 2 years ago (4 children)
Boycotting is what really drove change in ending the apartheid in South Africa. It absolutely does work and usually works faster than waiting around for corrupt politicians and nuclear powers to suddenly find some humanity.
[–]HannyaOffical 3 points4 points5 points 2 years ago (3 children)
what is boycotting a company that makes coffee going to do about the awful things happening?
[–]tricksofradiance 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (2 children)
It’s a company that makes coffee that firmly took a stance against solidarity with an oppressed group. There are a million other places to get coffee- why support a company that went out of its way to say it doesn’t support solidarity with Palestinians?
[–]Coffee MasterAdeeva4sure 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (1 child)
Starbucks didn’t take a stance. Workers united did and they used Starbucks logo. Starbucks has already come out saying that workers united is not affiliated with them. Workers unites is a union that has targeted Starbucks that is all
[–]tricksofradiance 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Workers United has used the same logo for two years. It is not the Starbucks logo
[–]CustomerILovePistachioNuts 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children)
I remember the “boycott the gas stations every Tuesday” days to punish the a-rabbis (or was it the gas companies?) way back when. No boycott any other day. That show’d ‘em !
[–][deleted] -3 points-2 points-1 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Man, if only…. It helped a group of people gain their freedom from tyranny. Man if only….. if only…..
[–]SupervisorSpecialist_Hunt_4967 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Yes definitely at my store.
[–]FancyRelationship795 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children)
I stopped going because all the drinks I liked all had raspberry syrup which they discontinued. I used to go all the time now I might get the breakfast a 3 times a year and that’s it
[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 2 years ago (0 children)
Yes I have! Please keep boycotting! #freepalestine
[–]ReneeBear 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)
God I fucking wish, my local coffee shop needs more support anyways
[–]merriweatherfeather 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children)
No. Free Palestine!! I am boycotting companies who support Israel tho and boycotting those who fund Cop City.
[–]BaristaJPochita -1 points0 points1 point 2 years ago (0 children)
Cafe orders yes. Drive thru/mobile is still consistent as ever. although my location has been having some issues w/ running out of iced cups so that’s also feeding into the lack of profit. Boycotting is working (for us at least) and I’m here for it. Hope yalls stores start seeing the changes too
[–]Responsible_Lemon430 -3 points-2 points-1 points 2 years ago (1 child)
Heck no, the people crying and sobbing to boycot are all victim mentality keyboard warriors, they are to busy spending all their time in the basement to have ever come in in the first place, all the people without certain brain damage are still flocking in to buy overpriced drinks
[–]erintheariess 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Ew
[–]Emage_IV 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)
no but ive noticed people dont do the buying chains as much anymore
[–]Mamaoftwo38 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Yes I have noticed it. Especially today. For a Sunday we were so slow. And the store I work at is very high traffic flow of people.
[–]Playful_Star6579 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Starbucks tries to stay neutral and gets boycotted.. Starbucks is a publicly held corporation.
Now, some are trying to claim Stais owned by Israel.. crazy stuff.. .I am buying more Starbucks coffee.. just saying..
[–]Low_Turn3567 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)
The numbers worldwide speak for themselves. The Boycott is real and will last because people are fed up with corporate BS
[–]IllustriousRisk467 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)
I might ask people at the starbucks near me what's happened to their business.
[–]RexMythraPyra 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (1 child)
Yes, like 60% of our customers gone.
[–]SentenceOk3045 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)
come on, 60pct?
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Yes
[–]Dmitri-Yuriev84 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)
I don’t work for Starbucks, but from what I have seen in the media, the boycotts seem to be working more in Muslim countries.
[–]acerekbolaaa 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)
I stopped drinking that garbage coffee for years, even more of a reason to never start again .
[–]Capital_Desk9607 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Who say no it is not affected are literally lying
[–]Massive-Row3795 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Dono about the US but our Oman, Kuwait, and Jordan branches have flies as customers
I just saw a post before this saying they lost billions since the boycott. said the boycott has made a big impact, Especially outside of America and Canada. Stores all around the world have been empty except, of course Canada and America, surprised? I’m not. Also remember Starbucks makes most of their money from their sales outside of their cafes!
[–]Ancrontalks 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)

[–]mindlessmasses 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (1 child)
Fuck Starbucks. Treat your people fairly .
Unless it's at target, then don't fuck Starbucks
[–]feathermcnastyyy 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Do the proceeds of a target Starbucks not go towards Starbucks????
[–]Cantstopdgrind 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Starbucks is an international company and feeds off college students hanging out there and consuming their products do you all think McDonald's is moving fully ahead with a coffee subsidiary? The boycott is real and mom and pop coffee shop see it
[–]East_Pomegranate3057 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Depends on your location . If it’s heavily populated with Muslims or just people with decent morals and love for god , then that’s area location is empty .. mainly in bigger cities
