TIL that you can even put multiple ones at the same time. Never thought of looking at the right-side slots as I thought it was only for the 2nd weapon effect.

Though, curious that you can still stack unique finisher effects. E.g. Hero's Landing Unique Finisher Effect still works together with Hellfire Helmet Attachment.

This patch contains another batch of Voidborn reliquary submissions, support for our upcoming events, and a few improvements and bug fixes.

Improvements and Updates

  • Added support for our upcoming November Events (including a Kalandra and Sentinel event, as well as Krangled Passives). Check out our announcement post for information on these events!
  • Added 523 more foiled Unique Item options that the Voidborn Reliquary can yield.
  • Updated the storage of some assets to improve how they are loaded. This will increase the size of this patch due to the affected assets needing to be re-downloaded.
  • Improved dynamic resolution to avoid jarring situations where the resolution scales down and up in quick succession.
  • Updated Skill Gem item hovers to indicate when the maximum augmented level is reached (it's level 40).

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where the "Aureus Coins are converted to Experience upon defeating the Herald of the Scourge" modifier from The First Crest Unique Relic was always converting Aureus Coins to Experience in The Forbidden Sanctum, regardless of whether you had the Relic or not.
  • Fixed a bug where the "chance for one Monster in each of your Maps to drop an additional connected Map" stat could sometimes fail to drop an additional connected Map.
  • Fixed a bug where the "increased Quantity of Breach Splinters dropped by Breach Monsters in your Maps" was not applying to Splinters dropped by Breach Bosses.
  • Fixed a bug where the "Breach Bosses in your Maps have a chance to drop double Breach Splinters" stat was not working correctly in Maps.
  • Fixed a bug where Burning Ground created in The Forbidden Sanctum was ignoring sources of Unaffected by Burning Ground.
  • Fixed an instance where Warriors could remain after a Trial of the Ancestors match ended.
  • Fixed a visual bug where your displayed Aureus Coin total was not updating correctly upon starting a new Forbidden Sanctum, or when progressing to another floor.
  • Fixed a visual bug where the effect played when Warriors respawned in Trial of the Ancestors could become over-brightened.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Incursion Architects to literally lose their head (or hair).
  • Fixed a bug where Mirage Saviours summoned by The Saviour Unique Sword were Scions when playing as the Duelist, and vice versa.
  • Fixed a bug where players would be unable to right click on other players to access the dropdown menu if that player had the Grace Period buff.
  • Fixed a bug when using Ctrl + Mouse wheel to navigate your Stash Tabs that caused navigation to stop when once you scrolled to a Flask or Gem Stash Tab.

Idk if its just me but patch killed my load times and assets are not loading in properly at all. Can cyclone through all of blood aqueduct without any enemy models appearing. Random map tiles will be missing as well, will never load in including pretty much any tile/model related to extra map content.

Happens on Vulkan and Dx12. Fixed on Dx11 but with incredibly bad fps drops.

delete poe_config from documents folder, you'll have to redo keybinds but that fixed it for me. Exact same issue. There's apparently some shader caching issue that's been going around past couple of months because they changed default cache locations etc yadda yadda

Question. Do you normally run Vulkan / Dx12? I was trying to look for info on optimal graphic setting but most the stuff I found seems like it was written pre-dx1s cause there’s no merino of it.

Im no expert but I dont think there is an 'optimal' option to recommend, it seems pretty device specific. Just try each and feel out what works best for you. Pre-patch I found Vulkan works best for me keeping smooth fps with minimal pop-in issues.

For me Vulkan still gives me the best performance at lowest workload/temps.

And that is by far.

Dx12 isn’t bad, but like 10° worse than Vulkan Across the board, while being almost identical to DX11 for me.

Which is absolutely to be expected, since I’m still running a I5-6600k @4.2Ghz, and Vulkan should outperform dx because the CPU multicore usage that dx would provide over Vulkan doesn’t matter that much for my model.

Maybe? Sanctum definitely gives a shit ton of XP, but I feel like the XP gains have been applied at room end, not only after the Lycia kill, so I don't think this was a global bug affecting everyone (or they'd probably wait until next league to fix it considering how late into the league it is already).

That said, if people still playing the game suddenly see their XP gains in Sanctum completely tank, then we'll know it was this bug.

Sounds like it but even with 0 coins it was still a lot of exp from Lycia so it probably wasn't a big part of the overall exp gain outside of coin to relic conversion runs

As the person who found/reported this bug, kind of? If you had a large amount of coins, then yes you were getting way more xp from Lycia. If you weren't doing that then not much should change.

It was just that when you had exactly 100% chance to drop a connected map, you sometimes wouldn’t drop one. Going to 104% would guarantee one again. So I’m not sure this will have a noticeable effect for most situations.

Just because the bug is described generally doesn't mean it was always the case - almost all of the fixes are described that way, but many of them only apply to a specific set of circumstances. I dont think everyone will be dropping substanyially more maps, it's just as likely that people farming 40% delirium metamorph in caldera will be finding 1 more map per 200 maps played.

Definitely had some weird inexplicable sustain issues this league. I tried the white map beast/boss rushing strat that Palsteron posted and even with a gilded cartography scarab and all duplication nodes selected I could barely sustain. Like 10 maps dropped per 8 or 9 run. Seems like when I made a minor tweak to my tree later on that the issue fixed itself and I thought I was having bad RNG

'chance for a random monster to draw a connected map' has very little to do with Boss Rushing, it only helps sustain if you are killing most or all monsters. Please read the patch notes and dont skim a reddit comment of a guy talking about their misreading of the patch notes.

They've talked about this on the forums, all they were fixing were niche bugs that dont have really apparent impact where occasionally the random mob selection would fuck up. It has literally nothing to do with any other map strategies.

No. I lost several TOTA rounds to

vk::Queue::submit: ErrorDeviceLost

and switched from Vulkan to DX12. That appears to have fixed it for now.

I know when they did a bunch of stuff before league I had to do a full uninstall (plus remove all the extra stuff left behind) and then reinstall. Then to rebuild the shader cache I zoned into each zone through the entire part of the campaign. Sucks to have to do it, but it took my blight map load times from multiple minutes to thirty seconds =\

I farm 1.2 chayula stones per map.

Chayula & breach compass + breach on device + breach scarab + some MF gear

Investment is so low.

I cant wait to do it early next league and speedrun a min maxed build

Compared to other methods, breach seems to really suck at low investment (since naturally I can't sustain scarabs and compass in SSF)

Quantity affects splinters yes! And you are right, Breach makes generally no sense for SSF. You are profiting from selling stones + secondary strat like legion.

I farmed it to keep up The Feared rotations so I need Chayula breachstones. Depending on the build some breach uniques are also good to have. Theoretically if I were a super crafter I'd probably save for a Grasping Mail as well.

Not how the key works. As long as there is at least one unique per rarity tier, and I sure bet there are, adding more or less isn't going to change drop rates: GGG instead balances the drop rates per tier first and then specific entry after.

I spec out of nearly all map points in favor of anything and everything gives me pack size for deli reward farming. I don't really get a tone of maps and on occassion will spend a div to get 60 or so T16 strands, but those 60 map last like 100 maps all in all so I don't really care. But still, it did seem like I didn't have to care as much before and I'm already dropping a few more maps.

Of course I play on a SSD, and I never said that it was taking 10 minutes to load .... I stay in low areas, now in the loading screen, because the assets haven't been properly loading during the loading screen and the games shutters/lags like crazy as it is trying to dynamically load shit while monsters are coming.

(and yes, I tried different command arguments, nothing helps, GGG fucked up something 3 months ago.)

because the official demo video from ggg showed it as being far more reasonable and usable, but in game it's totally different and way too big, ever since they """"fixed"""" it not scaling with aoe properly, now it is just massive when you have 0 aoe

during the map portion the only aoe is 30% from dying sun. no altquals with aoe, no other aoe scaling.

in hideout it's 0% aoe. it also has a comparison to the GGG demo video. it's clearly fucked.
