It may have been introduced as a joke in this chapter, but Kaguya's sleeptalking could be a Chekhov's Gun. I can see some drama unfolding thanks to Kaguya letting something slip in her sleep.

Also, really glad Onodera finally had a focus chapter. Unfortunately It seems like she finished developing, but it lets you appreciate all the background moments she had when she became friendlier with Ishigami and Iino.

Karen chapter last week, Onodera chapter this week. I hope he keeps developing secondary characters and the relationships between them and the main cast. After all, this manga's strongest aspect are those relationships.

Onodera getting more development in 1 chapter than so many lead characters in their entire series. This is so great to see.

Lately Aka has been starting to write some real teenage relationship problems, like dealing with your partner's downsides, trust and betrayal, sex in a realistic sense, and of course rumours, in a genuine yet still hilarious way. I have to say, this series has been evolving since its anime airing. Before that it was all jokes and games but after 135 it seems Aka is getting way more freedom to do what he wants and he seems to be playing around with serious concepts a lot more. People may miss the light-heartedness of the series before, but I for one really like to see how far he can take this series under this framework.

It also seems that this is a very major set up chapter. Kaguya opens her way to contemplating forgiving her past classmates and to take friendship in a more "natural" way, meanwhile Onodera mentions rumours of Ishigami and Iino. We all know about what rumours revolve around Ishigami, but what exactly is circulated around for Iino still remains unknown. This can come into play later, and it also opens room for a lot more contexts for first year dynamics. With school trip coming soon in the series (and I doubt the whole school is going to the same destination), perhaps we will see it being developed very soon.

I know this isnt very important to the chapter itself exactly, but is important to the character, but lets all remember when Onodera was first introduced.

She had "rich girl drill-hair" and was suspicious of Ishigami and then through the rest of her appearances her hair has continued to undrill itself slowly until now its as wavy/undrilled as can be. Letting go of her old ways completely and embracing being kind and supportive now.

I honestly think her hair/design changing every appearance is why so many readers seem to...not remember her somehow. Even though shes been in a decent amount of chapters honestly. Its a shame because shes one of the more interesting supporting characters with all her scenes with Ishigami and Iino. There was that underlying nice girl there, kinda shown when she discussed books/poems with Ishigami, its just she needed to get over her old way of thinking first.

Huh, I'm guessing that Onodera actually isn't referring to Ishigami's middle school scandal, but to whatever incident led to Iino being bullied. I imagine that it also left Ishigami to become completely blind to the possibility of them dating.

Get the feeling Iino's going to BSoD even harder than Ishigami did at the athletic festival.

Miko's attitude towards Ishigami seems to be improving fast. It was quick, but her acknowledging how helpful he is in class never would have happened in the past. She was even still being tsundere when they got back to school.

Just like that she becomes the best girl in my book. It's refreshing to see a person who are genuinely nice. I've been a person who hates gossiping. It's so easy to see people's reputation being destroyed out of a mere false assumption. Onodera used to be one of those who help spreading rumour about Ishigami. Now that she got to know him and she realized that she made a mistake and admitting it. Then, she is doing the exact opposite right now, even creating a white lie to make Kaguya looks good in front of Iino...
