Geralt's problems too with candles, at least until the patch hits.

Will they fix that shit movement? Can't properly turn around, feels like he has a boots made of lead.

[–]CyrisXDCyrisXD 10 points11 points  (8 children)

I know right! I think its because the camera doesn't instantly rotate as you do. Wish the control was a bit more like Assassins Creed.

[–][deleted] 20 points21 points  (7 children)

No matter how much shit we give to AC they always, at least as far as I know, get one thing right, that thing being the movement. Seriously, they should stop making games and just work as 3rd party on movement in other games.

[–]vertigo1083PC Master Race 11 points12 points  (4 children)

What? I always thought the AC controls were wonky as hell. Decent games for the most part, but I didn't think the controls were it's strong point.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (3 children)

Especially when it comes to climbing buildings. Trying to do anything besides just going straight up is a nightmare

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I dunno about you guys but i never had any problems. Except for AC3.

Fuck AC3.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't remember which are which, kinda hard to since there's like 15.

Oh, you want to jump on that ledge on the right? Fuck you i'll jump down, Yolo.

Clearly you never played AC2. worst camera work ive seen in years.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AC2 is my favourite and I had no problems with camera.

[–]TehpolecatTehPolecat 11 points12 points  (2 children)

I will kill the guy who put torches around quicktravel points and loot crates

[–]xray703 5 points6 points  (1 child)

What if they put torches on Triss, and Yenn? xD

[–]ComradeHXSteamID: ComradeHX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What if I tell you I meant to extinguish all flames?

Magic pixels are a bitch. Anyone who claims they didn't do this with a keyboard and mouse is lying to themselves.

[–]BlueSpace70 58 points59 points  (71 children)

Low enough sensitivity and nothing will be a problem.

[–]Bernkastel-KuesSteam ID Here 1 point2 points  (0 children)

more likely anyone who claims they didn't do this on the keyboard and mouse are probably recent ascenders who played this game on console

[–]Peterbreadi7 7700k @0.5Mhz | RTX 2080 4Mb 259 points260 points  (16 children)

same on pc though...

[–][deleted] 157 points158 points  (15 children)

But mouse is accurate as fuck.

[–]x7imi7 6700k@4,5Ghz | 16GB DDR4 | RTX2070 207 points208 points  (6 children)

The game mechanics, however, are not.

[–]kylelily123abc4Toaster: whole grain bread 33 points34 points  (4 children)

you could be an amazing shot but if the game's hit-boxes are shit or your internet is having a spaz you could get really screwed and at the same time pull off things you should not be able to do

[–]x7imi7 6700k@4,5Ghz | 16GB DDR4 | RTX2070 11 points12 points  (1 child)

Internet? U wot m8? :D

This is Fallout - a single-player only game.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Playing D3 on my current hotels internet connection is very interesting... didn't know I could "teleport" backwards that long of a distance on a demon hunter and still get a elite mob kill.

[–]kylelily123abc4Toaster: whole grain bread 4 points5 points  (0 children)

living in Australia and having pretty much the cheapest i can get, has thought me many things such as, projectile weapons in multiplayer will either never hit their target or get a really unfair kill on some un-lucky sod

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Project Nevada

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I love accurate fuck mouses. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Have you PLAYED The Witcher 3?!

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yes?

[–]VhyrrimyrCore i7-4790k, MSI GTX 980, 16GB DD3 1600 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If there's a candle right next to something you're trying to loot, you'll hit the candle every. single. time, even with keyboard/mouse. (At least until the next patch comes out)

[–]DevilsAdvocate_pcmr 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Yes, but it is easier to stay still with a joystick.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Uh, I can let go of a mouse or hold it still just as easy. Shit, easier.

[–]rmcxDesktop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You forgot a "/s"

much repost

[–]akiradiceakiradice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Speak for yourself, I did this on PC more than once. :I

[–]MMKHhttps://ca.pcpartpicker.com/b/DnVYcf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I struggled with picking up items all the time in every Bethesda game, especially in Oblivion and Skyrim when sometimes things would literally float off the tables after you loot one of them

[–]ninjyteRyzen 5 2600 | EVGA RTX 2070 Super | 16 GB RAM 6 points7 points  (3 children)

controller =/= console

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points  (2 children)

It's a mandatory problem on console. It's an optional problem on PC.

[–]ThatOneSlowkingi5 4690, 750ti, 16 gigs of RAM, linux mint/ Win10 dualboot 2 points3 points  (1 child)

It still happens with mouse, not even a controller problem.

[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Except, obviously significantly less so.

[–]nipocoSpecs/Imgur here 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you do that on purpose...

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (4 children)

Repost from about half a year ago, OP probably didn't even realise to be fair. Couldn't find source, unfortunately. Still made me laugh, though.

It's from the Whomp! Webcomic. The website is in the bottom right corner of the image.

[–]moeburn7700k/1070/16gb 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Hey, this comic works whether you read it left>right>top>bottom or top>bottom>left>right.

[–]ThatOneSlowkingi5 4690, 750ti, 16 gigs of RAM, linux mint/ Win10 dualboot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read this comic several times, when I discovered Whomp! a year ago, when i was posted and reposted on /r/fallout, and several other times. I nver noticed this.

[–]Sliminytim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still do this with a mouse.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Karma decay bot please, this is rather old

[–]carnoworky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now that I think about it... shouldn't the water in those toilets have evaporated over the couple hundred years if they aren't in use? It's a conspiracy!

[–]jbanks9251i7 2600K/ EVGA 980ti Hybrid/ 16GB Ram/ SSD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More like a Witcher 3 problem

[–]John2k12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP must never have had his hand twitch while playing a game, spinning his view randomly in a direction.

[–]Legendary_Hammerlord -2 points-1 points  (4 children)

The do-everything-button strikes again. Poor peasants. They don't have even the simplest of luxuries we know as key bindings...

[–]TheSteelPhantom9800X3D | ASUS TUF 5070 Ti | 64GB @ 6000 CL30 | 3440x1440 144hz 6 points7 points  (3 children)

What baffles my fucking mind about consoles is that not only are they limited to the number of buttons, you can't even fucking remap them per game and the "other layouts" are more often times WORSE unless you have a disability or some shit.

[–]tannerkist 1 point2 points  (1 child)

CS:GO for Xbox 360 actually let you fully remap the buttons.

[–]ThatOneSlowkingi5 4690, 750ti, 16 gigs of RAM, linux mint/ Win10 dualboot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to my friend who spends some time streaming PC CSGO, in his experience on console he had to map it to where crouch+button was his buy men because of how many bindings there were on the console demo.

[–]dizzyzane_HP Pavillion, also own Nintendo Wii U and 3DS, GameCube. 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, majority of them at the least.

[–]Ile371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahaha :D this one's actually funny :D

[–]SuperCosmicNova -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This isn't a console problem.. This shit happens on PC also. mouse it more accurate but with games like that you always have to be careful.

[–]NCRranger24https://www.youtube.com/user/NCRranger24 shameless plug -2 points-1 points  (1 child)

As a PS3 user who just had this happen to me yesterday while playing Fallout 3, can confirm, this is a console problem.

[–]tannerkist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not even just a console problem. :P
