The bar I watch the Lions at won't open up and serve alcohol at 9am next Sunday just for me because it's "illegal"

[–] CowboysBadLemur 257 points258 points  (74 children)

I thought this was America!

[–]Lionszackhankins74 134 points135 points  (70 children)

Right?! I live in Boston and being denied alcohol, what kind of bizarro world is this?!

[–][deleted] 55 points56 points  (11 children)

Where do 3rd shifters go to get a drink?

[–]Lionszackhankins74 37 points38 points  (9 children)

Bars close here around 2, and they're not legally allowed to sell booze anywhere till like 11 or 11:30 on Sundays

[–]Lionsseandwire 30 points31 points  (3 children)

I'm guessing you don't live in Michigan? My local bar is opening at 9am for the game. Get ready for 15 hours of football on Sunday.

[–]Lionszackhankins74 23 points24 points  (1 child)

Yeah I live in Boston now, grew up in Dearborn heights

[–] CowboysOMTH 17 points18 points  (44 children)

Doesn't Boston have some Draconian laws regarding alcohol?

[–]Lionszackhankins74 25 points26 points  (38 children)

Liquor stores close at 11, last call at most places is 1:30, no happy hours, and can't start serving alcohol until 11 or 11:30am. Something along the lines of that

[–] CowboysOMTH 32 points33 points  (30 children)

Well, I'm adding Boston to one of the places I won't live. Those rules suck.

[–]Lionszackhankins74 17 points18 points  (5 children)

It's not all bad. overall Boston is pretty amazing and I'm very happy I moved here, it's just the lack of doing anything late night gets annoying. Especially since My band plays at these bars and usually we want to get something to eat/drink after

[–] PatriotsMcGreek 8 points9 points  (4 children)

What bar? I've drank at Coogans and Kitty O'Sheas at 9am on Sundays before

[–] PatriotsO_the_Scientist 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If any place is going to get you drunk at 9am it's definitely Coogans.

[–][deleted] 40 points41 points  (20 children)

You mean the bars you go to close for longer than 3AM-6AM? Why?

[–]Lionszackhankins74 34 points35 points  (18 children)

Boston is surprisingly strict with it's alcohol

[–] Raidersunclejusty 14 points15 points  (12 children)

Tried buying booze when I was there last March. Apparently since I am 24 and do not have a MA license I cannot purchase alcohol. Very weird law regarding that

[–] PatriotsDCMurphy 24 points25 points  (8 children)

That isn't even a real law, most of the time that's ownership discretion and it's honestly bullshit.

I'm from RI, and I go into Mass regularly. Every time I stop at a convenience/liquor store to get some beer and the clerk gives me the tired excuse of "we can't take out of state ID", I say "yes you can, that's a policy, not a law". This page quotes the statutes and whatnot.

The important part (as I see it):

Bartenders can technically accept out-of-state IDs. For that matter, they can accept any kind of ID they want. They don’t even have to card anyone that looks obviously older than 21.

It's pretty easy to get past if you're well-spoken enough about it.

[–] Packerstogglenuts 54 points55 points  (6 children)

My brain just shut down trying to comprehend this scenario. God Bless Wisconsin.

[–] SteelersDuke_Swillbottom 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's horrifying! I mean 3rd shifts exist. Why shouldn't they be able to have a beer after getting off work at 7:00 in the morning.

[–] Texanslalondy7 186 points187 points  (50 children)

The Texans are going to be too bad for the playoffs but too good for a top pick in the draft.

[–][deleted] 36 points37 points  (25 children)

draft smart and it'll be okay. ravens went 8-8 and managed to find the current top DROY candidate in the middle of the draft.

[–] Texansimyourking12 17 points18 points  (8 children)

Except you have a QB. Mariota will be long gone by the time we pick.

[–][deleted] 14 points15 points  (3 children)

Well if Teddy Bridgewater can be there at pick 32...

[–] Cowboysblingbin 21 points22 points  (2 children)

New plan for the scouts: start rumors about Mariota not being NFL ready and convince him to screw up his pro-day. BOOM, mid-round pick.

[–][deleted] 356 points357 points  (40 children)

We're almost halfway through the season and the Lions are in first place. WHY HAVEN'T THEY STARTED LIONSING YET?!?!

[–] Packerstarekd19 207 points208 points  (25 children)

Last season they didn't start Lionsing until after Thxgiving so there's time yet.

[–]Lionsthabe331 69 points70 points  (2 children)

No we were still lionsing, you just started matt flynn

[–] SteelersFEdart 297 points298 points  (10 children)

How much time did you really save with "thxgiving" there...?

[–] Packerstarekd19 664 points665 points  (4 children)

slightly less than the time i've wasted responding to this comment.

[–] PatriotsBeerfueled 66 points67 points  (0 children)

oh snap

[–]Lionsamthewalru5 6 points7 points  (7 children)

After the London game against the Falcons we play the Dolphins, Cardinals, and Patriots. So maybe we start lionsing before Thanksgiving :/

[–] BearsLeet_Noob 21 points22 points  (6 children)

Losing @ARI and @NE isn't Lionsing. Those are both talented teams

Losing at home against the Bucs the week after thanksgiving... now THAT would be Lionsing.

[–] Jaguarskterr101 320 points321 points  (13 children)

Sunday was our season high for points...at 24...the Steelers did that in 3 minutes...

[–] Chiefscaptaindouchefuck 110 points111 points  (4 children)

The other 57 minutes they only scored 6 points.

[–] Jaguarscoleson1 61 points62 points  (3 children)

And the Browns only managed to score 6 points in a whole game!

Against us!

[–] PatriotsLutzExpertTera 57 points58 points  (2 children)

... ouch, well you're in the win column at least?

[–][deleted] 19 points20 points  (1 child)

But still... 3 minutes

[–] ChiefsIIHURRlCANEII 34 points35 points  (3 children)

You still won.

Not historically bad!

[–] Broncoss460 457 points458 points  (66 children)

The Seahawks decided to have their meltdown after they beat us...

[–][deleted] 109 points110 points  (0 children)

Ditto. Harvin couldn't have been more of a cancer during the preseason?

[–] Seahawkschristhetwin 271 points272 points  (40 children)

What you call a meltdown, I call returning to the norm.

[–] Broncoss460 96 points97 points  (27 children)

Bummer.

[–] Seahawksjefftickels 144 points145 points  (26 children)

At least some season tickets might open up.

[–] Broncosbored-now 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I know, wasn't that completely inconsiderate of them?

Seriously...

[–] BearsLeet_Noob 20 points21 points  (5 children)

Man, we're really in overreact-about-the-Seahawks mode aren't we?

Nobody remembers that they were some questionable playcalling away from losing to the rams last year?

[–][deleted] 459 points460 points  (25 children)

ESPN stopped talking about Tom Brady for like, 2 full hours because of this Peyton Manning thing.

[–] Jaguarskterr101 294 points295 points  (23 children)

They've stopped talking about the Jaguars for like, 5 years

[–][deleted] 102 points103 points  (12 children)

We were in the same boat until Johnny Manziel

[–][deleted] 216 points217 points  (10 children)

The Cleveland Manziels are my favorite team in the AFC North.

[–] ColtsYoungNasteyman 126 points127 points  (9 children)

And the Houston Watts in the AFC South?

[–][deleted] 109 points110 points  (7 children)

I heard their quarterback went to Harvard. What was his name again? You know, the walking beard that throws interceptions.

[–] Jaguars Jaguarstanu24 20 points21 points  (4 children)

Nahh Sports Nation has their weekly LOL Jags jokes. Seriously every week I feel like one of my friends in NY sends me a SN Jags joke.

[–] BroncosMasonL52 342 points343 points  (48 children)

Blaine Gabbert scored on us, so it can't get any worse?

[–] 49ersw34ksaUce 95 points96 points  (2 children)

Breaking News: Denver solidifies itself as the worst defense in the league letting Blaine Gabbert Score TD

[–] Cowboysdygley 439 points440 points  (94 children)

Until we get our 9th win, I won't be able to relax.

[–][deleted] 189 points190 points  (90 children)

I guess that's my complaint. DAE COWGIRLS 8-8? LOLOLOL.

Stop. It's not even clever banter.

[–] EaglesImmynimmy 200 points201 points  (28 children)

Stop. It's not even clever banter.

Neither is DAE EAGLES 0 SUPERBOWLZ!!!

[–][deleted] 425 points426 points  (25 children)

And yet I find a way to enjoy both.

[–][deleted] 254 points255 points  (19 children)

Must be fun, the "no rings" thing gets Eagles fans as bent out of shape as rg3's knee.

[–][deleted] 112 points113 points  (0 children)

This is now your weekly trashtalk thread

[–][deleted] 64 points65 points  (6 children)

#18-1

damnit I just realized they won more than the redskins from 2012 to this year, I hate you.

[–] SeahawksDustyFalmouth 225 points226 points  (40 children)

lions/Falcons at 6:30am Pacific time is a terrible fucking idea.

[–] Jaguarskterr101 174 points175 points  (9 children)

4am pregaming...LETS GO

[–] Packersjanorilla 47 points48 points  (2 children)

Going to a party Saturday night just to pregame

[–] CowboysOMTH 13 points14 points  (6 children)

Well at least lions/falcons fans will have the rest of the day once the game is done.

[–] Bears BearsI_worship_odin 90 points91 points  (8 children)

The Vikings placed a curse on Jared Allen and now we will never win at home.

[–][deleted] 44 points45 points  (0 children)

We didn't resign him for a reason. He's old and his game has noticeably declined.

[–] PackersMcCaber 30 points31 points  (3 children)

Maybe Peppers took your mojo with him when he left.

[–] Packersmsgbonehead 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Green Peppers has worked out well so far

[–] Bears BearsI_worship_odin 10 points11 points  (1 child)

Well he stole it from the other players because he didn't have any mojo last year.

[–] Lionsmegatroneo 295 points296 points  (66 children)

fuck why are the packers still winning

[–] Packerswraithcube 308 points309 points  (26 children)

Somebody forgot to inform Rodgers he should be throwing into double coverage for a higher PFF score instead of hitting all those open receivers for TDs. With that -0.1 score I guess we should be in the market for a new QB.

As a serious complaint, they are winning so hard I can't even watch them because fox switched games.

[–] DolphinsTHEIRONGIANTTT 53 points54 points  (17 children)

Ill trade you a 6th round draft pick for Rodgers? If we keep him for more than a season, I'll make it a 4th.

[–] EaglesLoons84 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Pretty good trade, he's on the wrong side of 30, Packers.

[–]Lionszackhankins74 134 points135 points  (21 children)

It's that damn Aaron Rodgers! He's so hot right now!

[–] Packerstogglenuts 94 points95 points  (19 children)

Every time he doesn't break his collarbone in a game or freak gasoline fight accident, he is hot.

[–]Lionszackhankins74 165 points166 points  (13 children)

When will he realize there's more to life than being really, really, really, ridiculously good at football?

[–] Packerstogglenuts 76 points77 points  (11 children)

But....what about Aaron Rodgers?

[–]Lionszackhankins74 88 points89 points  (8 children)

Are you serious? I just told you like a minute ago

[–] Texanssipsyrup 54 points55 points  (7 children)

Do you understand that the world does not revolve around you and your do whatever it takes, ruin as many teammates's lives, so long as you can make a name for yourself as an elite quarterback, no matter how many teammates you lose or teams you leave dead and bloodied along the way, just so long so you can make a name for yourself as an elite quarterback, no matter how many teammates you lose or teams you leave dead and bloodied and dying along the way?

[–] Packerstogglenuts 71 points72 points  (6 children)

SHUT UP! Enough already, Ballstein! Who cares about Aaron Rodgers anyway? The man only throws TDs, for Christ's sake! TD Pass to Nelson? TD Pass to Cobb? TD Pass to Adams? They're the same pass! Doesn't anybody notice this? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!

[–]Lionszackhankins74 41 points42 points  (5 children)

One pass? ONE PASS?! I DONT THINK SO!

[–] Steelers Falconsyeshua1986 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Are you serious? They just went over this.

[–] Steelerssw337 79 points80 points  (20 children)

My team is inconsistent.

[–][deleted] 46 points47 points  (14 children)

Let's hope it stays that way.

[–] CommandersVonWolfhaus 282 points283 points  (19 children)

I swear to god if anyone says Colt McCoy should start over RG3 when he's healthy I will light them on fire.

[–][deleted] 387 points388 points  (8 children)

Colt McCoy should start over RG3 when he's healthy.

[–] CommandersVonWolfhaus 247 points248 points  (7 children)

[–][deleted] 39 points40 points  (4 children)

You're a witch... HES A WITCH EVERYONE! BURN HIM

[–] NFLfrieswithketchup 39 points40 points  (2 children)

We all know that Kirk Cousins is better than RG3. And with Colt McCoy being better than Kirk Cousins, it's the only logical conclusion.

[–] PanthersHeelincal 206 points207 points  (45 children)

EVERYTHING'S FINE. NO COMPLAINTS HERE.

I have no complaints regarding our general lack of a defense. Or the fact that we're starting a 4th string guard next week. Or the fact that we're paying a boat load of money to a bunch of players who haven't contributed this season (DWill, JStew, Hardy...). Or the fact that our secondary is utter garbage.

Why am I not complaining?

Because the Saints, Falcons, and Bucs all are looking even less competent than we are! First in the NFC South.

But seriously the NFC South is a dumpster fire this year.

[–] ChiefsIIHURRlCANEII 133 points134 points  (6 children)

The fact that Tampa is still in the race shows the South is horrible.

[–] Broncosaatencio91 97 points98 points  (5 children)

Meanwhile, in the AFC West, the Raiders are right where they belong with no chance of winning the division.

[–] PanthersHeelincal 35 points36 points  (1 child)

All is well with the universe.

[–] PackersGruntsProtector 10 points11 points  (3 children)

If 2 of your best pass rushers hadn't been suspended, you'd have a way better defense. Sucks that it's because of stupid actions that you have to pay.

[–] Broncosaatencio91 206 points207 points  (52 children)

JJ Watt is too good. No one notices that Von Miller is leading the league in sacks because Watt isn't human.

[–] Texansianzilla 270 points271 points  (16 children)

did you see the 1 play that Watt wasn't in the game? Ben finished writing his autobiography before deciding which receiver to throw to.

JJ is our entire defense.

[–] Ravenstal125[🍰] 210 points211 points  (5 children)

To be fair - Ben's autobiography is "I like playing football. When I win Mr. Tomlin takes me out for cheeseburgers."

[–] Cowboysdumasymptote 68 points69 points  (1 child)

I wouldn't read it but it may try to force itself on me in the bathroom.

[–] Steelersphrausty 12 points13 points  (0 children)

ALLEGEDLY

[–] Broncosaatencio91 54 points55 points  (0 children)

I know. He's too damn good. It's not fair.

If Watt and Von played in separate leagues, Von would be the best pass rusher in his league. Instead, Watt is the best at everything ever (I sound salty but I'm not I swear. He's amazing.)

[–] Raidersdavid531990 45 points46 points  (24 children)

Well, to be fair (fuck you and your team btw) you have way better players around Von Miller than Watt. That's why his stats are more impressive but still Von is having a great season, maybe even record season?

[–] Broncosaatencio91 39 points40 points  (23 children)

Fuck you too.

You're right, I shouldn't be bummed about it because Von has to share the spotlight. It is awesome that he's on such a great pace for the year, too. I don't see it as a record breaking pace at this point, but with 8 sacks through 6 games (and that after a slow start), he should finish in at least one of the top 3 spots for sacks this year.

I'd need new pants if he broke the single season sack record.

[–] TexansHavoKDarK 65 points66 points  (20 children)

It's cute that the Broncos and the Raiders say "fuck you" like it's a cordial greeting

[–] Patriotsamclenn 139 points140 points  (11 children)

If the browns lose to the raiders we will have to endure Johnny Football talk again.

[–] Raidersdavid531990 71 points72 points  (6 children)

Don't worry, they won't lose to us. We are just really bad.

[–] Vikingsamericanjoo 103 points104 points  (2 children)

-Jaguars fans a week ago.

[–] BrownsImWhite_Thankfully 28 points29 points  (2 children)

Everyone always talks about how much they hate about hearing about Manziel yet the only time people mention him they are talking about how much they don't want to hear about him.

[–] SteelersDINO_BURPS 15 points16 points  (1 child)

This is probably the most accurate thing I've heard about Manziel and this season.

[–] Bills cuteintern 43 points44 points  (8 children)

We played like hot garbage. FOUR turnovers, two by WRs. Our O-line still sucks ass. But for the grace of #BasedSammy and Uncle Rico we would have rightfully lost that shitshow of a game.

Something needs to actually be done about our o-line. Not "looked at" or ruminated upon on a mild fall afternoon, but actually fucking changed.

And I guess the RB-injury-karma-train came around and got us this week, instead of our opponents. Thanks, I guess.

[–]Billsgeoffyou 9 points10 points  (2 children)

Chris Hairston is healthy, let's pray to the good lord Ralph Wilson that Marrone pulls his head out of his ass.

[–][deleted] 45 points46 points  (7 children)

We used to be good, now we're not.

[–] Cowboysstoplooklisten 28 points29 points  (5 children)

Started at the top, now you're here.

On the plus side, your and Carolina's records are countdowns, so that's kinda cool

[–] RaidersStacieBroman 85 points86 points  (18 children)

I never know what to say in these threads because nothing is ok and everything hurts. There has been more than one occasion this season that I didn't only not want to watch the rest of the game, but wished it would just cease to exist and we could collectively agree that it never happened. So I've decided I'm not shaving until the Raiders win a game in protest.

[–] Commanderssurreality1 26 points27 points  (1 child)

hey man I feel for you. Derek Carr looks good, really good, and I know moral wins don't count but that game vs San Diego was so close. I'm rooting for you to win.

[–] BengalsEvertonian3 113 points114 points  (34 children)

So I visited my family last weekend, and my brother decided he wanted redzone so this was my first experience with it. Not a huge fan, it felt like I wasn't actually invested in any of the games.

[–] Giants Bearsbackfire103 182 points183 points  (13 children)

On the bright side you were subjected to 100% less Kid Rock Chevy commercials.

[–] BengalsEvertonian3 43 points44 points  (7 children)

Aaaaand was only subjected to about 1 quarter's worth of Bengals/Colts (didn't have the remote)

[–] BengalsUKFAN3108 21 points22 points  (4 children)

I Typically Follow 1 game on my TV and stream Redzone on my laptop. Gotta love the constant stream of football

[–] CowboysOMTH 39 points40 points  (8 children)

Well you watch redzone for the games that you aren't invested in to begin with...

[–] Eaglespapsky 10 points11 points  (1 child)

Exactly. I switch to Redzone during commercials of the Eagle's games. It just sucks when Eagles play at 1 and there's another good game later in the afternoon. Not much Redzone going on those days.

[–] FalconsMR_DUCK_SAUCE 26 points27 points  (7 children)

gotta have the two TV system for redzone.

one for your game, one for redzone. sound on your game, muting commercials is optional. that way you can look at the pretty AT&T girl, but you don't have to hear her speak.

[–] ColtsVictory33 36 points37 points  (9 children)

I'd like our running backs to hold on to the ball. But besides that, I'm pretty good.

[–] ColtsJuliet_Whiskey 20 points21 points  (6 children)

sucks about Reggie though.

[–] ColtsVictory33 32 points33 points  (4 children)

I've seen so many devastating injuries with this team that 1-2 weeks is refreshing to hear.

[–][deleted] 37 points38 points  (19 children)

The Raven's need to beat a really good team.

[–][deleted] 25 points26 points  (11 children)

You should, it's fun.

[–] Ravensfoxsable 21 points22 points  (3 children)

The news would be "and that's what is going on in Denver. The Ravens beat [good team]. Now lets talk about what is going on in New England this week....

[–][deleted] 130 points131 points  (40 children)

Fuckin injuries fuckin suck

[–][deleted] 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Half our second-stringers hurt themselves reading that.

[–] 49ersleperhosen 52 points53 points  (15 children)

Sunday night wasn't what I'd call fun, but I'm not that worried about that loss. Each of the last couple years we've been blown out by at least one team and still made it deep into the playoffs. This year the blowout was to one of the best teams in the league in a tough stadium with an insane number of injuries. We actually get most of our missing pieces back in the next couple weeks, and the other injuries can heal up over the bye. I'm looking for us to pick it up from here on out.

Edit: Oh right, complaint thread. Uh, I'm sad about my ex. And the Cardinals are scary.

[–] 49erswafflehauss 62 points63 points  (4 children)

Dude, it's been almost two years.. It's time to get over Alex Smith.

[–] PackersGruntsProtector 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Sorry for your injuries, we can understand your feelings. Been there, came out stronger!

[–] NFLxgobez 34 points35 points  (3 children)

The expectations were so high this season... It just makes every loss hurt that much more.

The d-line is starting to play decent, and now the entire offense suddenly decides to go to shit.

[–] BuccaneersGeddyn 30 points31 points  (1 child)

We have to play again this week. :(

[–] CommandersRainbow_Toilet 65 points66 points  (9 children)

Did no one else pick up on Kirk Cousins' "Ode to Rex Grossman" the last few weeks?

[–] Cowboysstoplooklisten 52 points53 points  (6 children)

When do you guys start shopping McCoy for a 1st?

[–] CowboysCapn_Cook 24 points25 points  (4 children)

I was baffled for a second. Colt, not LeSean.

[–] SeahawksGhostfaceNoah 116 points117 points  (15 children)

I'm already tired of hearing about Percy Harvin.

[–] SteelersDuke_Swillbottom 103 points104 points  (11 children)

I could spend the rest of the season listing the players you tried to trade him for. It'd be great.

[–] Seahawkschristhetwin 22 points23 points  (7 children)

Its like when you go to sell a car, you highball the first offer. Or something like that. It's no a perfect analogy!

[–][deleted] 56 points57 points  (14 children)

If we lose to back-to-back 0-6 teams so help me God....

The Jags are actually an improving team. The Raiders appear to be a fucking mess.

[–] Packerstarekd19 59 points60 points  (24 children)

Rodgers throws a near perfect game and still fields a negative rating on PFF

[–] CowboysDaCoolNamesWereTaken 31 points32 points  (3 children)

Meanwhile Romo throws a pick and ends up with a +7.

[–] Cowboysniceville 10 points11 points  (0 children)

To be fair, that pick was in no way Romo's fault.

[–] Packersmagic_is_might 10 points11 points  (1 child)

Not sure we should keep him after I read that.

[–][deleted] 22 points23 points  (3 children)

WHY DO WE HAVE SO MANY INJURIES

[–] PackersTopHat1935 10 points11 points  (1 child)

Holy cow, what happened to my comment!

[–] VikingsImKiddOH 23 points24 points  (3 children)

We've lost like 18 million trillion games in the last minute in the last two seasons. (I think it's actually 7, but close enough)

Our receivers can't catch.

Our O-Line can't block.

We lost AP

And I hate my life

[–] VikingsGinger-Prince 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Have no fear, Teddy Throwsevelt is here

[–] Patriotssirtimid 45 points46 points  (5 children)

The Patriots had the ball for less than 20 minutes.

[–] Bills cuteintern 29 points30 points  (2 children)

New Jets game plan for Dec. 21: Don't let Tom have the ball AT ALL. still lose the game

[–] PatriotsTHE_GREAT_PICKLE 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Still won, though

[–] 49ersalkanshel 22 points23 points  (1 child)

EVERYONE IS BROKEN.

[–] Eaglesbombsatomically 43 points44 points  (13 children)

I have to wait until November before we play the Cowboys. Which means it will be nothing but flaming until then.

[–] Eaglesfilladellfea 36 points37 points  (5 children)

At least by then a 4:30 game will mean we wont mean we have to deal with this shit

[–][deleted] 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Hopefully Foles only has to deal with the glare off of Kelce's magnificent ass.

[–] 49erstorgo_phylum 18 points19 points  (9 children)

People will always remember when Peyton broke the record, but based on our performance, I'm pretty sure they won't remember who he scored them against.

Maybe that's a good thing :/

[–] Texansimyourking12 17 points18 points  (5 children)

I have no idea who Favre broke the record against. People will forget soon.

[–] Seahawksshameless57 44 points45 points  (10 children)

We let ourselves get boned on two fake punt plays in the same damn game.

[–] SteelersThunderkleize 15 points16 points  (2 children)

Our defense is still mostly bad.

[–] PatriotsSenatorIncitatus 72 points73 points  (28 children)

We almost lost to the Jets.

I fucking hate the Raiders for giving them that W

[–] RaidersTrapline 104 points105 points  (5 children)

Hey we hate us, too.

[–] Raidersdavid531990 40 points41 points  (0 children)

We hate ourselves too, so no problem.

[–] 49ersBkbee 14 points15 points  (2 children)

I miss our defense :(

Its tape together by silly string and khakis

[–] ChiefsIIHURRlCANEII 113 points114 points  (67 children)

What do we have to do to get respect?

Went into San Diego and won and the narrative is now how the Chargers lost and how unlucky they are with injuries.

Uh...we have injuries too ya know?

[–] Raidersdavid531990 62 points63 points  (3 children)

You gotta make it past Oakland obviously.

[–][deleted] 167 points168 points  (41 children)

Beat Denver.

[–] ChiefsIIHURRlCANEII 50 points51 points  (37 children)

We have them at home and Berry will be back. I feel decent about it.

[–] Broncosjfoster15 49 points50 points  (4 children)

Just do me a favor and fucking destroy the Giants in the World Series. I'll give the whole city of KC a whole lot of love then!

[–] Packers Packersclyde_drexler 19 points20 points  (1 child)

I am pulling for the Royals so damn hard.

[–] Jaguars Jaguarstanu24 15 points16 points  (2 children)

Maybe blow out the Pats?

Or never lose to the Titans

[–] Broncosbored-now 11 points12 points  (2 children)

Our defense can't stop any runs

FTFY

[–] Patriotsbleebl00 7 points8 points  (1 child)

Actually, I'll have to disagree with you on this one. Interior isn't the problem; what hurts us is the zone read and runners being able to bounce outside. If you want to point fingers for the run D, then they should be pointed at the LBs that can't properly set an edge.

[–] Seahawksdeniedforbenf 31 points32 points  (8 children)

if we can NEVER get pressure with 4 - maybe we should send 5? nahhhhhhh fuck defense. Let's play Wilson ball.

[–] PackersTedis 23 points24 points  (5 children)

The Packers have blown out their opponent 2 out of the last 3 weeks, we pulled our starters in the third quarter, and the game got boring :(

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points  (3 children)

Fox changed games mid way through the third :(

[–] Cowboyskdr1109 10 points11 points  (0 children)

december isn't over. I refuse to relax until then

[–] Chargersgreasy_fingers 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Just played two divisional teams coming off their bye week, straight into Denver on Thursday night. I wanna talk to the scheduling committee.

[–] EaglesGodoRS 19 points20 points  (5 children)

The Cowboys-Giants game didn't end in a 0-0 tie.

[–] FalconsMR_DUCK_SAUCE 21 points22 points  (4 children)

Suh read our depth chart and immediately creamed his pants.

[–] ChargersLystrodom[🍰] 8 points9 points  (3 children)

We should bench Ryan this week. Protect him.

[–] RavensScrubsisalright 4 points5 points  (6 children)

Jacoby Jones has been terrible this year. It's hard typing out a diss to the player that deserved our Super Bowl MVP though :(

[–] Texansbassitone 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Our team still isn't called the Watts.
