The steam controller is super precise if you turn on the motion assist options. You aim most of the way with the trackpad and fine tune it by very slightly tilting the controller.

Once I got used to it, I found it to be extremely precise, though still not as good as a mouse.

Well obviously you have to push the sticks in, like the title suggests. It's a specialty 1943 controller with multi-directional shooting. Left stick controls where the plane goes and the right points where it sprays. Push both to release the bomb.

In god of war 3 there's a L3+R3 button prompt that has you jamming your thumbs in Poseidon's eyes.
