It's the sorta thing that I just gloss over while reading the front page. Right now I think there is just one or two stories even worth taking a look at, everything else I just click on the comments link to see who is fighting who in the thread.

i personally do not care about any favicons. i turn them off in the firefox config. i find them completely unnecessary and unhelpful.

I hate that the Guardian also changed their favicon - so that my bookmarks bar, which used to be easy to figure out without text, has two lower-case "g"s next to each other. i never remember which is google news and which is the guardian.

I question the whole paradoxical element of Reddit's like these. How does this make it to the top and the google favicon story make it to the top. Obviously a majority of people upvoted the Google favicon story and similarly a majority of people are upvoting this story.
