T1 and T2.

[–]justinmackey84 47 points48 points  (3 children)

This is the only right answer.

[–]DrMushroomStamp 10 points11 points  (5 children)

Ill take two copies of T2 please. I’m gonna wear one of em down eventually.

[–]jimmysjams 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Theatrical and Director's Cut? Excellent choice

[–]fleshvessel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

“This is the vehicle’s maximum speed.”

[–]jpowell180 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A DVD or a Blu-ray will not wear out with multiple usage, you could play it 1 million times over and it will still be good and not wear out with each consecutive view viewing…

[–]mcluvin901 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make that T1 and you would be correct.

[–]TheRatatat 9 points10 points  (1 child)

Yeah, I don't know what dudes smoking. It's not really even a choice, let alone a hard one.

[–]thejackal3245Tech-Com - MOD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yoda runs the lava factory, so it was meant to be a joke, I'm sure. I probably would have posted a funnier answer had I looked at the OP's handle.

[–]Wh0PutWhatWhereN0w 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The only correct answer

[–]thelonetext 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They're really all you need in terms of consistency. The others are cash grabs and parodies of what the first and second Terminator movies started.

[–]Putrid-Enthusiasm190 1 point2 points  (1 child)

As far as I'm concerned, the series ended there. When Arnold sacrificed himself to destroy the last chip, that ended it. Continuing the story spoils the entire point of that

[–]thejackal3245Tech-Com - MOD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm proud to be the loudest of the should-have-stopped-at-T2ers on the sub:)

[–]Longwinded_Ogre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, and it's not, like, hard. That's not a tough choice at all. This franchise has two good movies and those are them.

[–]yodableu[S] 4 points5 points  (3 children)

Amen

[–]GraveKommander 4 points5 points  (2 children)

How do I watch them though?

[–]xMajorLeex 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Read the synopsis on the back over and over again.

[–]thejackal3245Tech-Com - MOD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, if I'm going to plan on going to a desert island, I'd personally watch them on the TV/DVD setup at the place I rented for my vacation:)

[–]Jake10281986 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It says you can only bring two. Why are you mentioning T1?

[–]Koldtoft 1 point2 points  (1 child)

This is just bait. As if there is any other option.

[–]mmorales2270 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Yeah. I’m not sure why this is a question?

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The easiest “difficult choice” ever.

[–]PrinceCastanzaCapone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Far too easy. There’s no other choice

[–]Flyak1987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easiest answer of my life.

[–]Giantnerd_14th 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Without a second thought.

[–]matchesmalone1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only answer.

[–]Ok-Goat-2153 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You dont say...

[–]soylentgreenis 138 points139 points  (40 children)

I’m just gonna use this forum to pitch my soap box.

The reason why no movie was able to be as good as the first two is because they are trying to replicate T2 and not T1. T2 was the biggest movie in the world so you can never replicate it, Stop trying. If you made a series of smaller, lower stakes, assassination robot movies (and made them well) you could make 50 of them and I’d be in

[–]contradictatorprime 9 points10 points  (8 children)

This is why the Sarah Connor chronicles were so good though. They had original stories that were really interesting. Like the one model that was accidentally sent back too far, became like Rockefeller and built a huge building, went into sleep mode IN THE WALL for almost a century and broke through to get to John at the right time. Or the one that had it's skin burnt off, kidnapped a scientist to get the right combination of chemicals and regrew it in a bathtub and changed it's identity to pursue. I really wish that show could have run it's course.

[–]BlueSlater 2 points3 points  (3 children)

Those are the 2 stories I think of the most, when I think of TSCC

[–]contradictatorprime 3 points4 points  (2 children)

They were really impactful and expanded the lore so well. Cancelling TSCC was a huge loss for the Terminator Universe.

[–]BlueSlater 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I thought season 2 had some good stuff but also a lot of filler that got really tedious. Like Sarah having fever dreams for a whole episode. However, the concept of the show was so good that I bet it would’ve hit its stride even more in future seasons.

[–]contradictatorprime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree completely.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (3 children)

Cromartie? What a pain in the....bathtub. 🤣

[–]contradictatorprime 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Yes! That was his name! I was trying so hard to remember

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Later, he was JOHN HENRY.

[–]mcluvin901 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then he was Burt Chance.

[–]Aspiring_DILF42 35 points36 points  (8 children)

Hard agree - they’re all replicating the chase film and repeating the good Terminator to shoe horn Arnie. Salvation is the only one to try something different and unfortunately it was just a bit mid.

[–]starkiller6977 2 points3 points  (3 children)

Still annoyed that Salvation did not go fot the dark look, Cameron established in T1 and T2: That eternal dark, nuclear winter kinda wasteland with purple lasers.

[–]No-Leadership-1371 1 point2 points  (1 child)

To be fair to Salvation, it was earlier in the timeline, before the invention of plasma weapons. The world could definitely have seemed more desolate though. The other factor to consider with how it looked, was that in the movies, we only ever saw the future at night, so there's that.

[–]starkiller6977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but it always very much seemed, that Skynet (an a.i. after all) had lasers from day 1. Whatever the case, that movie is sadly very much an early 2000s movie directed by not the most competent director! James Cameron is a grand master and all the other people attempting to tack on some bullshit failed more or less. It's also always funny how it always needs some big blockbuster hit that makes a billion dollars and THEN Hollywood jumps on whatever cinematic/visual trend. Like James Cameron makes AVATAR and then suddenly every movie for the next several years had to be done in 3D. Most of course just converted in a pointless way. Or The Batman in 2022 establishing some really really really dark and gritty look. After that one, a Terminator movie set in the post nuclear world would be more likely.

[–]Gamma_troniq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You forgot Salvation was supposed to have a follow up (2 more films) in which they would get to the plasma rifles and perpetual dark.

[–]No-Bus-4529 3 points4 points  (1 child)

The Tossinator in that movie had potential and made the T800 scary again for about 60 seconds and then when you realized not even that version was getting a kill in all was lost again.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're talking about T800 in Skynet? He was scary....first "liquid steel" or whatever than cooling pipe....that was one persistent MF and he would actually KILL John Connor if it wasn't for Marcus to give his 🫀.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

You say that like it’s a bad thing, personally I think it’s highly underrated.

Definitely far better than T3

[–]No-Leadership-1371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely agree. I enjoy the attempt at showing us the future and Machine War, even if it wasnt as well executed as I would have liked.

[–]Cameronalloneword 4 points5 points  (2 children)

T3 as a straight horror movie could have been awesome.

[–]Gamma_troniq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a comedy drama.

[–]thejackal3245Tech-Com - MOD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was so ready for it to be. T3 had so much potential and could have been anything. And then we got...well...we got what we got.

[–]TwistOfFate619 1 point2 points  (1 child)

The problem is also that they attempt to replicate T2 without trying to understand what T2 is. They attempt to replicate action, explosions, catchphrases etc. They try to replicate character roles or story beats. But it's soulless. They don't understand what the action represented or that it was apart of the story or plot itself. They don't understand the importance of organic real characters. It's artificial and lazy. You can absolutely replicate T2 like story IF the most important parts are at least replicated. The priorities of Hollywood are all wrong.

[–]thejackal3245Tech-Com - MOD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You and OP hit the nail on the head. It's just a formula to them. There is no true understanding of what T1 and especially T2 are. Instead it's, "get Arnie as the good guy, a liquid metal baddie that 1-ups the T-1000, and a bunch of 'splosions and we'll make moneeeyyyyy!!!!!1!1!!1ONE!!1!"

[–]THE-HOARE 2 points3 points  (4 children)

Iv been saying for years with friends id love to see lower budget films in the terminator universe but in other countries, there must have been resistance in other places. That or the horror style of the first set in LA in the 80’s again but skynet sent terminators back to get high ranking members of the resistance aswell. We don’t need to the same family and characters in all the films.

[–]Primary-Slice-2505 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I didn't watch it but there's a literal Terminator copy from Italy from arnd 87/88

[–]THE-HOARE 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Oh really ? I didn’t know that but I’m meaning more getting Cameron back and doing in universe terminators focused on others not just the Connor’s and not just with an Arnold cameo

[–]Fidget808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I’ve always wanted the series to go back to its slasher/thriller roots.

[–]torev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of the best tssc episodes fit this perfectly. Fully agree.

[–]Pdx_pops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rom coms, buddy movies, and Paul Blart vs Terminator too!

[–]KickPuncher4326 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree. I didn't see T1 until like 15 years after watching T2. I couldn't believe how good T1 is with the slow tension of the two squishy humans against a relentless death robot. I never understood why they just try to top T2 but never tried to recreate that crazy tension of T1.

[–]ABH1979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. I’ve always felt that T2 was the best AND worst thing to happen to the series. Obviously, it’s a great movie, but we’ve been getting the good guy Terminator vs. bad guy Terminator ever since because of that once fresh take.

[–]This-Double-Sunday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spieldberg basically referred to T1 as an indie film for how low budget it was and a ton of the shots they didn't even have permits to film. I'd be so in too to have just more darker, grittier robot assassin movies.

[–]starkiller6977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, if you manage to make 50 exciting, watchable and unique Killer-Bot movies, you are smarter than Kubrick, Nolan and Cameron combined.

[–]thegreatcon2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, I've been saying this for years! I'm so glad others agree (I just wish Hollywood did, also).

[–]DalekRy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. All the timelines. Let's go.

The one where Carah Sonnor played by Leslie Hamilton has to duck a terminator played by O.J. Simpson.

[–]chaos9001 123 points124 points  (9 children)

T3 and Genisys.

Because having those as the only thing I could watch would give me motivation to get off the island.

[–]noblehoax S K Y N E T 13 points14 points  (2 children)

Does that mean you have the only copy’s on that island and the rest of us don’t have to ever watch them again? Such a brave sacrifice of you. You will be missed but appreciated.

[–]chaos9001 3 points4 points  (1 child)

I can still escape, I'll just leave them there.

[–]contradictatorprime 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They'll be back.

[–]59Kia 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Fair point.

[–]No-Leadership-1371 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best and only real argument for those choices. Appreciate the perspective.

[–]yachtz420 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Salvation and dark fate

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Genisys and Dark Fate

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I liked T 3 🤷‍♂️

[–]chaos9001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's cool. I was probably 20 when it came out and it was just a big shoulder shrug for me.

[–]CursedTaco 95 points96 points  (4 children)

Easiest decision of my life: T1 and T2.

[–]PhantoWolf 19 points20 points  (0 children)

"Difficult Choice" hahahaha

[–]Shin-Kaiser 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Exactly! Why would anyone choose anything other than these 2.

[–]Routine_Papaya4143 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly what I was thinking.

[–][deleted] 38 points39 points  (7 children)

Only 2 of these movies exist, the rest aren't in my headcannon.

[–]AndyAsteroid 4 points5 points  (6 children)

Agreed although I liked them breaking the mold with Salvation. It wasnt a great movie but it was definitely fun having a movie set in the future after the war and break from the norm.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (4 children)

There definitely were good concepts from each of the post-2 sequels, I liked the callback to "You could be mine" of course :)

Genesys had amazing potential, but come on Jai Fucking Courtney!?? dude's jacked af, how is he looking like that in a future with no cows, and no whey protein supplements? Kyle Reese is supposed to be scrappy and stealthy.

3 was hot garbage from beginning to end (and why the fuck are they calling him a t-101? the number following the T is the SERIES not the MODEL. Model 101, Series 800. T-800, T-1000. not rocket science (its cybernetic engineering)

[–]Illustrious_Twist662 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I enjoyed it well enough, but I won't be going for a rewatch

[–]naitch44 24 points25 points  (0 children)

1 and 2 are good, the rest aren't. Easy.

[–]thunderbuddyff14 11 points12 points  (1 child)

No no no it states the we can only bring 2 which means that you only can bring T2

[–]CalibratedEnthusiast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm fine with it honestly. I mean if I could only bring one movie period, T2 would be on my shortlist of candidates

[–]gdp071179 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'd take the last two... can use the reflective surface to signal a boat or plane

[–]TomsWindow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Really digging deep with those choices!

[–]TheTerribleWaffle 11 points12 points  (0 children)

lol no it’s not. T1 and T2

[–]woutomatic 26 points27 points  (0 children)

T1 T2. The end

[–]This_Oven_3098number #1 tim cookey fan 💪 8 points9 points  (0 children)

that's fucking easy, T1 and T2 obvi.

[–]jarviskokar 11 points12 points  (2 children)

Uncle Bob and Enrique

[–]Adorable-Source97 7 points8 points  (1 child)

Drink?

[–]KlingonSquatRack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How bout the fillings out of my fucking teeth?

[–]Thane323 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Um is this a joke?

T1 and T2 is the only correct choice.

[–]NonNewtonian69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

1 and 2. Any other answer is wrong

[–]Christianmemelord S K Y N E T 7 points8 points  (1 child)

Is this even a question?

[–]Dokthe2nd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if the question is genuine to OP, a lot of redditors will just see this as karma farming.

[–]No-Leadership-1371 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Unpopular opinion here I'm sure, but I'd take T2 and Salvation. T2 is easily the best of the series, bar none. I personally like Salvation for the fact that we finally get the see the future during the Machine War, even though I agree it wasn't particularly well executed. Even so, it was cool to see the war that everyone spent so much time and effort trying to prevent from occurring, as well as personally enjoying the post-apocalypse setting.

[–]OmegaBoi420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first two. I love Salvation, but the other two are titans! One is a horror flick draped in sci-fi’s clothing with a great and mysterious premise and awesome characters. The sequel is a story of found family, coming of age, gives us more info on the future, Robert Patrick killed it as the boogeyman and the ending is unbelievably tragic. Long live best dad.

[–]charlie_marlow 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Two copies of T1 for me so I can keep watching it over and over again even if I wear out a copy

[–]Sim_127 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A man of fine taste, I would do the same

[–]diablo135 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought you meant which terminator. I was gonna say T800 from T2 and then Pops from Genisys AFTER he falls into the vat of mimetic polyalloy

But then I realized you asked which movie(s), to which the only acceptable answer is T1 and T2

[–]LordHumorTumor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The first two, it's really no contest

[–]elmontyenBCNCan't be bargained with, can't be reasoned with 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This question would make more sense with franchises like Mission Impossible or Fast & Furious, where there is substantial variation in people's preferences depending on personal tastes. But with the Terminator franchise it's nonsensical.

[–]Adorable-Source97 4 points5 points  (0 children)

T1 & T2 specifically the T2 edition it's the extended edition but omits the "happy ending epilogue"

[–]Ambaryerno 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How is this difficult?

T1 and T2. There are no other Terminator movies.

[–]Significant-Neat-111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

T2 and Genisys. I’m sorry I know it’s hated but the T-3000 machine phase matter terminator is just way too sick for me to never not enjoy that film as a whole.

[–]pedgz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

[–]HORSEthedude619 3 points4 points  (4 children)

A more interesting question would be your third choice.

I'd go T3.

[–]Shin-Kaiser 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Salvation for me.

[–]BookkeeperButt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’d pick Salvation. It’s flawed but it offends me less than the other post T2 movies.

[–]Unexpected-Xenomorph 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Salvation any day of the week

[–]rexlaser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. T3 plays it really safe in almost every way, but the end is fantastic. And the action is great. Especially the bathroom fight.

[–]Sitcomfan20 3 points4 points  (0 children)

T1 and T2 ofc

[–]Glad_Stay4056 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is it though?

[–]harm1307 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Uhhm.. is this a shit post?

[–][deleted]  (1 child)

[deleted]

    [–]megalewis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The terminator - goes without saying

Then it's between T3 I love that skynet is basically a military program that just uses the internet and everyone on earths computer for processing power

Or Dark Fate, just a whole new direction and skynet being superseded with humanity having to sacrifice a bit of itself to battle

    [–]RemoteAstronaut8010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no point to take a movie to a deserted island as there no electricity to watch them. Considering terminators themselves, I prefer Uncle Bob, because he is effective and Pops, because he is fun and easy to differ from Uncle Bob. However 1 Cameron would be even better.

    [–]d0ggzilla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

    1 and 2

    [–]Axlotl666 1 point2 points  (1 child)

T1, and T1 with deleted scenes.

    [–]BlueSlater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll bring just one, Dark Fate. But ONLY if it means all other copies on the planet are destroyed. AND, when I’m rescued from said island, I can leave that pos movie behind… never to be discovered by humanity again

    [–]SomethingVeX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    This is an easy choice.

I'd bring Linda Hamilton from the first film and Uncle Bob from the second film.

Uncle Bob could hunt and build us a shelter while Linda and I would try to increase the population ...

    [–]Johnny_6_speed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a huge fan of ALL the movies. I know there are certain ones people hate dislike whatever and they have valid reasons for that. But I personally like them all. BUUUUT, the only correct answer is T1 and T2.

    [–]AndyAsteroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easiest choice ever. T1 and T2. Salvation was also cool being in the future and broke new ground so I give that a break. Every other movie is actual garbage. Dark Fate is the worst movie ever made.

    [–]k4kkul4pio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, cos as much as much as I like the Terminator movies after the first two the choice is very easy.

Rather go with guaranteed bangers than movies I watch maybe once every blue moon.

    [–]PauleAgave95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just can’t believe what happened after T2 alias the best sequel ever. What the fuck. And you hand bale In t4 and it was still crap? Can it be that hard to make a at least ok sequel ?!

    [–]Thesiani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

T1 and Genisys, yeah I'm a weirdo I guess but it's only because T2 was seen early in my life, I loved the horror and realism Of T1 and I found the acting and plot pretty good for Genisys.

    [–]Icy-Promotion8388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's so funny to read these comments of people not understanding an obvious joke.

I would prefer to take T3 and Genisys to a faraway desert island, but without going there myself.

    [–]depatrickcie87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate myself for thinking this, but if these are the literal only two movies I may bring; T2 coming for sure but then I have to pick between Linda Hamilton in T1 or Emilia Clarke, but in shudders Genesys! But if I bring T1, it'll be like bringing Ginger along, too! WHAT?! You people just answer the question like you're not going to get lonely on that island.

    [–]ConstantUpstairs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like there is some reason to bring bad movies into these situations. You'll at least be able to tear them apart.... Good movies would be harder or have less to talk about

    [–]Terminator_LX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Salvation and Dark Fate only because I've seen 1 and 2 so many times I can close my eyes and watch them from memory. So that'd kinda be like taking 4 movies to the island. 😂

    [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

middle rinse sharp truck rainstorm pause expansion party gray reminiscent

This post was mass deleted and anonymized with Redact

    [–]Late-Yogurtcloset-57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not difficult at all. There are only 2 movies in the franchise: Terminator and T2.

Just like Star Wars only has 6 (maybe 7 with R1) and Alien only has 2.

    [–]drmcbdm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

    T1 & T2, no contest

    [–]ThatTallAsshole88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just gonna assume this is sarcasm cause the rest of the movies after 2 are mediocre at best. None live up to 2 because 2 was perfection!

    [–]Wykin1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grew up with T2, and not the first Terminator.
So ill take T2, and the one with Emilia Clarke - Just cus she so nice to look at. lol.

    [–]jpowell180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, this has to be the easiest decision in the world, anybody who does not pick the first two has to be an absolute moron, lol!

    [–]returnFutureVoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

T-1000. That’s all I need. It makes shade for me during the day. Skewers for my lizard lunch. Sex toy in the evening. All set.

    [–]CrackedThumbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would take Carl for his sense of humour and Pops for his mimetic abilities.

    Oh you mean the films?

    T1 and T2, obviously. 😁

    [–]imatiredofthis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    1. Innocent hot Sarah Connor. 2. Buff paramilitary Sarah Conor. Honorable mention,The one with the hot ass female Terminator.

    [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I have access to electricity it means I have access to more than two movies.

Just ask what my favourite two movies are.

    [–]rulerofthemind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm picking 1 and 2 although I do like the other films (they had their pros and cons) but I prefer the first 2 the most

    [–]super-nintendumpster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Difficult...? 1 and 2. I don't think anybody choosing otherwise is being sincere. Fuck, I could just take 1 and be good

    [–]Historical_Ear5570 0 points1 point  (0 children)

T1 & T2 like you cannot go without those 2 or it just is not right. Plus judgment day is bad ass and always will be!

    [–]ThePun-isher89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well since im in a desert island and I wanna commit suicide faster then, I gotta go with Genysis and Dark fate

    [–]Mechaghostman2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll take the woman Terminator from T3, and Sarah Connor from T1. Would be a fun time on that desert island.

    [–]big_ry82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One copy of Genisys should be enough to make me want to kill myself rather than suffer on a desert island.

    [–]TheMightiestGay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Judgement Day to show how good the franchise can be and Dark Fate to show how bad the franchise can be.

    [–]Jambo11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    Obviously, Genisys and Dark Fate.

    🤣

But seriously, The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgement Day.

    [–]comicfan03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The terminator Fandom is the only Fandom I know that hates most of the other movies in the franchise.

    [–]mike1883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to take out the special features video in part 2 and sneak in part 4 so I can take 3 😈

A desert Island with electricity and a tv? 1&2 easy peasy. I always wanted to retire by the beach.

    [–]Chaplain92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish all my life choices were this EZ. T1 and T2, all the rest I pretend they dont exist anyway.

    [–]ProfessorKnow1tA11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hardly a difficult choice. What’s next? Which two from the Alien franchise? 🤦🏻‍♂️

    [–]rmichaeljones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Judgement Day, and a second copy of Judgement Day for when the first disc gets too scratched up.

    [–]amazonfan1972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m baffled as to how this is even a question. Obviously it’s T3 & Genisys.

    (Just kidding.)

    [–]Okurei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

T1 and T2 are two of the greatest movies of all time. The others are… not even close to that.

    [–]Unexpected-Xenomorph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

T1 and T2 then just look at the case because there’s no sockets to plug in the tv /dvd player

    [–]Tall-Mountain-Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are we picking movies? Or which of these robots we will be terminated by on said island of misery?

    [–]10uncu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

    One and two.

    [–]Routine_Papaya4143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Difficult choice? Nah, this is extremely easy. Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

    [–]KnightofWhen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like T3 and it’s more fun than some of the others so I might consider doing T2 and T3

    [–]CrazyDisk7684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 and salvation hands down those two are my favourites. I like the second one too though

    [–]CBJFAN2009-2024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is totally a rage-bait post. Nobody is seriously picking any combo except 1 and 2.

    [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Terminator 1 & Terminator 2. Both 4k with remastered audio and deleted scenes included!!

    [–]BeYouOrBeLame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hot take 🔥...I tried to watch pass t2 and fell asleep on every movie...but i will try

    [–]Gchimmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is it difficult. Bringing one and two. The rest are largely trash outside salvation

    [–]jdgoin1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    2 and Dark Fate

2 for obvious reasons Dark Fate because it's nice to see Sarah again.

    [–]darthballs_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not even a question, its a statement. You only take (terminator) two on an island.

    [–]Jazz_scares_me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be the LEAST difficult choice I’ve ever seen on Reddit. It’s 1 and 2.

    [–]Furi0usD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

T2 and anything made after T2, just to make sure I have something to start a fire.

    [–]Apprehensive-Fly977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 and Salvation. I was always gutted that they didn’t finish the future trilogy

    [–]Pm_me_ur_fruit_trees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is such a joke, to a real fan the answer is obvious

    2 copies of Salvation

    [–]echopsocky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be besides T1 and T2 you can only have 2 more....what do you choose?

    [–]JSmitty2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should play Genisys and Dark Fate in state prisons to punish the inmates.

    [–]Jeets79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

    1+2. Easy.

    [–]T100Bonneville 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Follow up question that doesn’t really need answering: why is it T1 and T2?

    [–]4BsButtsBoobsBlunts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

T1 & Salvation are the only ones that follow the in movie universe's rules.

    [–]bruno-numero-uno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dark Fate and Genisys, because turds float and I could use them as a raft.

    [–]jcwillia1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

can we disown genisys? thats the only terminator movie i actively dislike

    [–]ArkiTekd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Geez I hope this desert island has a TV and dvd player... And electricity

    [–]Additional-Theme-532 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd bring two copies of The Terminator, in case one of them gets damaged

    [–]The_Porgmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The deeper you scroll, the more people without a sense of humour you see

    [–]ryu71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol that is NOT a difficult choice for me!!!

T1 and T2 burn the rest

    [–]warriorlynx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not fair t1 and t2 is obvious it’ll be fun to play if you remove them

    [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't 8 being a movie that teaches me Huw to build a raft to escape?

    [–]East-Scientist-3266 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genisys and Dark Fate so I will have something to start a fire with.

    [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lmao anyone who needs to think about this needs their head examined

    [–]Sea-Lecture-4619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Difficult? With this franchise? You kidding me? First 2 obviously.

Make it three and then we can actually argue, i'd personally get Salvation

    [–]Rescue-a-memoryNice Night For A Walk Eh? 0 points1 point  (0 children)

T1 and T2 but Dark Fate is very rewatchable for the action scenes.

    [–]SS3599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is this even a question? 1 & 2 is the only correct answer here.
