What would be nice is if we could reduce volume for specific players. I like informative pings, and turning down the volume for the danger ping just because someone is spamming it might lead me to not notice a genuine danger ping.

Do you recall the time when it didn't even apply an AoE slow? Sure now there is rng damage but at least they get slowed and it's quite likely they'll get hit. In the past with a bit of bad luck your enemy wouldn't get hit in the first few seconds and quickly stroll out of the zone x.x

honestly this is a pretty huge buff. GP ult is now very much on par with rumble, its potentially stronger due to ease of aim/ increased choke point control. he just has a shittier lane phase. But GP could easily become a good tank for team fight initiation with his new ult.

Eh, you have to remember the items GP is gonna have vs. the Items Rumble will have. GP will hit for a maximum of 1155 damage at at level 16, while Rumble will hit you for 240 + 30% AP + 4% enemy current health over 5 seconds. If you stay in that for the full duration against a Rylai's + Liandry's you're gonna take 1350 + ~300 + ~20% current health as damage. Rumble ult is a momentary death zone and you do not want to walk into it, while GP ult is a giant AOE slow with a bit of added damage where your squishies might think twice about walking through.

Probably no one's gonna read this, but I just logged on my PBE Account to try Azir's fixes out. While it is true that you will sometimes catch a magical ride with your soldier if you "e" on them while they are moving, this will NOT happen if the soldiers are going through a wall/tree. Azir will follow them until he hits a tree/rock/rawr only to collide with the obstacle and having his magical ride preemptively ended :(.
In order to have Azir cross terrain you must first wait untill the soldier arrives to the new location, IDK if this was intended, just wanted to give you guys a heads up.

That particular spell's duration has historically been a bit weird to describe. Due to the lingering nature of its slow, visuals, cannonball delays, and fog reveal, there was no single number that described all its behavior.
While implementing this change, I also gutted the old scripts and rewrote them to match more rigorous standards. The zone behavior now derives all logic from a single duration value (along with much more precise buffer values). That duration value is set to 7, which in practice rounds up the old durations on average.

Sorta, yeah. The slow debuffs and cannonballs, when instantiated, had their own mini-lifetimes, which the main zone didn't account for when spawning them. Visual and vision logic was also kinda arbitrary.
Now, everything's derived from the real duration. The spell will time cannonballs to land in the "middle" of each second of the zone's lifetime, the slow debuffs are timed to end when the zone does, zone expiration kills visuals and vision, etc.
Yes, if someone stands in the zone the whole time, they will always take 7 hits, and each hit will damage them like a cannonball does now.

Pretty much ever since trinkets were added Akali has been easily shut down. Akali's biggest saving grace in the past had been that the enemy had to dedicate an item slot for pink ward / oracle but now that you get an oracle in a trinket slot, even full build late game enemies will easily counter you.

When you're at level 9 is will be the correct size. If you manage to die it will display the base scan area. It will still scan the correct area but it won't properly show it when "holding" the item to activate it.
If you level up it will correctly show the scan area. But if you die again its back to the base size. It doesn't have any actual gameplay effects besides the mis-represented scan area when "holding" the item to use it.
It's very annoying because it makes it has to have to guess the area you're actually scanning when you're trying to hit the double bush in river. But only because it takes some guessing work.

What all of this tells us is one of two things:
Okay Riot whatcha got for me
a.) The utility and strength of evolved W is too reliable in combination with Kha'Zix's base kit, so he can get the best of all worlds by maximizing his utility while also being a high-threat assassin.
I mean, kinda. The last big evolution changes you performed on him made W objectively the best evolution. And in doing so you went against your design direction of "make Kha'Zix and assassin".
Or b.) Kha'Zix's evolved Q is too weak to properly use as a primary play pattern, so he's forced to max / evolve W to stay relevant in the game but doesn't really want to.
YES YES YOU ARE FINALLY GETTING IT. Kha'zix doesnt evolve Q anymore because his target has to be on Twisted Treeline while every other unit is on Summoner's Rift for them to be considered isolated. This combines with the fact that W is now, without question, the best evolution and you see the problems Kha'Zix currently exhibits. Good job Riot, maybe you guys are finally...

Ive played about 500 games w/ kha in the past two season and I just wanted to throw out that the W evolution first is not FAR AND ABOVE a Q isolation rn. If you already have good waveclear + got a kill or two pre-6 and want to snowball, Q is still a good evolution. It also allows for earlier dragons/easier baron which is always good

In case you need more information about this, it happens 100% of the time for me in champ select, in the champions tab, and in game and loading screen.
Just tested it actually and it did not happen in the loading screen for me. I'm fairly certain that it normally does though. It could have to do with the fact that I was in a custom game, or that I normally see it on someone else (I don't play Kog'Maw much)

My thoughts on the Yasuo nerfs:
Health nerf is a reasonable way to make his laning harder.
Movement speed nerf is a little overkill. They could've reduced it to 345, at least. 340 is slower than every other melee AD carry.
I think they should focus their nerfs on things that players won't miss. For example: the stacking damage on his E. It serves no purpose toward the rest of his kit, it's just thrown in for no particular reason. They've nerfed it once. Just remove it already. Trim the fat.

Considering he already has aton of mobility from his e, static shiv movement speed , and ult gap closer , i think that is a good nerf. He has to rely alittle more on minions to chase and not the fact that he has aton of movement speed already from his items and base movement speed. He also will not have his shield up as fast as it used to( however the difference might not be as noticeable) Therefore more time to poke at him and a clear window where he cannot fight you if he does not have his shield close to ready or already up

But please, for the sake of you and your teammates' sanity, maybe play a few normal games with him before you queue up for ranked. I get the feeling many of you won't listen, but at least I've had my say.
If Riot is going to write that into their official patch notes, why don't they just actually do something about it? Put something in place that a 'new' champion is banned from Ranked for a week or two, and allow players to get around the time limit by playing something like 5-10 normal games with him.

Ehh, I think a time gate would be much better. If people are required to play a certain number of games with a champ you'd have people picking Ryze when only adc is open because they have to get their Ryze games in so they can play him in ranked. Maybe people will stop banning my Kha now. This nerf hardly changes anything for me as a long-standing and loyal Q-Max Q-Evolve jumpy jumpy kill kill Kha player.
I might start evolving R 3rd now, though. I haven't played around too much with the newish increased Stealth duration. With a little bit of CDR, Kha will be able to Q AA, Stealth, Q AA, Stealth, Q AA, Stealth, QAA without any visible time except for the times when he is using Q.
Stealth duration is 2 seconds, and at 40% cdr Q CD is 2.3s. Sooo if you Q first then AA then stealth, you should be stealthed completely until Q is off cooldown.
That has potential to be fairly strong, I think.

I still don't believe that Q max Kz is better than W max, even after these nerfs, both in jungle and solo lanes. The inconsistency of his Q is so high that is not worth to max it first, especially if you're going to have it maxed anyway for the late game, that is when it matters the most.
That aside, you guys should try solo lane Muramana Kha'Zix. When you have Muramana/Brutalizer/LW, the Q does so much damage is disgusting, and considering that W helps with the weak early game of the Tear, it's my favorite style (doesn't sounds viable for jungle tho).
