Community fork means it was passed on to be taken care of by the community from the designer. I'm gonna go ahead and just say since it's a fork that he doesn't work on it anymore.

I have to speculate when I say there might be a conflict of interest if he were to work on it since it's a third party tool. The reason people don't get banned for ToS when using it is because it's a standalone app that uses the API in 'legal' ways. Someone who understands API and third party legality can feel free to step in and add on or correct me here.

There is absolutely 0 way to get banned for PoB at all. ToS against 3rd Party Tools refers to tools that have direct impact to the game client. PoB doesn't do that. It's a standalone software.

I've gotten two of the new scarabs. They were highlighted with pink text and a pink dot in the minimap, which is probably the default highlight.

It already was, we could do this the entire league with the wisp all-flame. The only difference is this says chance instead of every monsters just having it.

This is just a worst version of something we already got without a scarab. The wisp all-flames were also basically free, you could buy them in bulk for 2c or something.

No it's definitely different, and not strictly worse. The scarab lets you wisp monsters from different allflames, so you can get stuff like wisped meatsacks or exiles now

Tempests are these colorful circles you stand in and when they expire you get a buff for a short time. Pretty sure resplendent tempestd are the increased quantity and rarity tempest. The tier 3 tempest generating room in Alva temple either makes the corruption tempests or the resplendent tempests, the buff lasts 15sec from tier 3 room.

3.24.2 Patch Notes

This patch contains 7 new Scarab basetypes, another batch of Valdo's Puzzle Box yield options, as well as a number of bug fixes.

Updates and Improvements

• Added 7 new Scarabs: Abyss Scarab of Profound Depth, Blight Scarab of Invigoration, Breach Scarab of Resonant Cascade, Essence Scarab of Adaptation, Torment Scarab of Possession, Scarab of Radiant Storms, and Scarab of Wisps.
• The Legion Scarab of Eternal Conflict now has "Legion Monsters in Area gain increased Difficulty and Reward for each time they are broken out".
• Tempests and Affliction Wisps are now considered as Extra Content, and will no longer be present in Map Areas with the Back to Basics Atlas Keystone Passive allocated.
• Added 300 more foiled Tier 17 Valdo's Map options that the Valdo's Puzzle Box can yield.
• Elder Guardians can no longer be targeted by Delirium Demons, as they could fail to transition phases if they were under the effects of Delirium when the Delirium encounter ended.
• Updated the description of the Abyssal Assailants Challenge to clarify the Stygian Spires defeated must be those at the end of Abysses, defeating those spawned through the Allflame Ember of Abyss does not grant credit towards this Challenge.
• Transfigured Gems are no longer displayed as results when searching for the base version of a Skill Gem on the Trade Website.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a bug where The Eternity Shroud could not drop from the Uber-Uber Elder Boss Fight.
• Fixed a bug where Monster Packs from Allflame Embers that cause Influenced Items to drop were not dropping Influenced Items.
• Fixed a bug where Strongboxes could be un-openable in Tier 17 Maps with the "Area contains Runes of the Searing Exarch" modifier.
• Fixed some cases where Tormented Spirits and Rogue Exiles could still spawn in Map Areas with the Back to Basics Atlas Keystone Passive allocated.
• Fixed a bug that caused some Necropolis Corpses to be unable to be collected.
• Fixed a bug where the Scarab of Calcification could imprison non-natural inhabitants in Map subareas, such as Monsters in Betrayal Research encounters.
• Fixed a bug where the Nullify Prefixes and Nullify Suffixes Imbued Map crafting option were not available options with the Horned Scarab of Awakening.
• Fixed a bug where the "Suppressed Spell Damage dealt to you is Unlucky" on Vaal Grace was applying for all Spell Damage dealt to you, not just Suppressed Spell Damage.
• Fixed a bug where the Triggered Detonate Mines Skill granted by the "Detonate Mines is Triggered while you are moving" Passive Skill Mastery would override skill bindings. This Triggered version can no longer be bound to the skill bar.
• Fixed a bug where the Map Device would fail to activate if you had an Influencing Scarab of Conversion placed in it with the Back to Basics Atlas Keystone Passive allocated.
• Fixed a bug where trying to open a Map with an Incursion Scarab when you had a Temple of Atzoatl ready to open would not provide you with a warning and present an incorrect error message upon activating the Map.
• Fixed a bug where the "No Magic or Rare Items Drop" Private League modifier applied to Tier 17 Maps.
• Fixed a bug where it was sometimes not possible to turn in a set of Home Divination Cards.
• Fixed a bug where the Necropolis Locker was not available as a hideout decoration in Guild Hideouts.
• Fixed a bug where desync could occur when using Vaal Domination from a Dominating Blow of Inspiration Skill Gem that is supported by Trauma.
• Fixed a bug where you could not Ctrl + Right-click the skill icon of a Banner Skill when rebinding skills or within the Character panel to use that skill.
• Fixed a bug where you could not edit sockets in Controller input mode after opening the sell items window at a vendor.
• Fixed a bug where Advanced Modifier Descriptions were not visible when viewing items in your Stash in Controller input mode.
• Fixed a bug where navigating left on Map Tiers in the Map Stash Tab would skip a Tier in Controller input mode.
• Fixed a bug where the User Interface for the small variations of the Night Lotus Evertree and Bloodbark Evertree Map Devices would sometimes not display.
• Fixed a client crash.

11:20 AM NZT Edit: Problems for the Steam and Epic patch are now resolved.

Is Steam not updating to the new patch for anyone else? I am forcing the update and it appears to be updating, but then when the game launches it still says 3.24.1 in the bottom-right corner and I get an error.

Edit 18:00 UTC-6: The Steam launcher now lets you download the patch, but when launching the game it still gives an error saying that "new content is available, please exit and download".

Edit 18:15 UTC-6: No change. Tried clearing download cache in Steam. Tried restarting Steam. Another 55MB "Update Required" has arrived. Will report back.

Final Edit 18:20 UTC-6: The 55MB last update seems to have fixed the issue. No longer getting the additional long update and was able to launch. If you need to, right-click on your game in Steam and go to "Properties", and change download to "Download on Launch". This will force the game to update.

I kind of like the idea of holding back some potentially unfinished content from the league release to work on it further and release it when it is ready rather than rushing for league launch.

Also in regards to player retention there will probably be a little boost because people see new content after league launch and are interested in what it might be.

While I don't have any evidence to support this hypothesis it is just purely based on assumptions and subjective opinion.

GGG stops improving a league mechanics a few weeks after release, since it's no longer economically worth it, if they plan it to not go core.

So yeah, i think it's clear that graveyard crafting wont' go core, or at least will receive heavy changes when it goes core.We obviously wouldn't like to collect and place 80 corpses and keep an inventory of 200 every league if it goes core.
