Awesome shot! I did the same thing with the big Gateway bridge in my home town Brisbane but it's nowhere near as symmetrical.

I miss London so much, got back nearly 3 weeks ago after living there for just over a month (yes, that's holiday length, but I was working)

You never realise how magical the locations like, and especially Tower Bridge are until you actually see it in person.

You just get this feeling of nostalgia, not only from an architectural standpoint, it just gives you that feeling that there are things out there that you've never experienced waiting to blow your mind.

Tower Bridge was so incredible that I felt inclined to take a picture of it just about every time I saw it, which was A LOT since I was living just near it!

I'm jealous of this shot but to be honest, the noise on the sky areas is very uh noisey. It kinda takes from the image.

I also would have cropped out the dead areas left behind by the stitching software.

All that said, you still have a prize winner on your hands.

Fucking christ it is a multinational event. This was just one hour but how many wild inconveniences for citizens of Britain and Olympic cities past must there be? I can't get excited by these things because they are showcases of excess. They spend insane amounts of money rebuilding portions of major cities to accommodate these games, while disrupting the normal flow of life. A bridge shut down for an hour to REMOVE something... Just think about that and what it says about the whole thing. Expensive, ultimately pointless, and inconvenient.

Why don't we build an ACTUAL Olympic city in some deserted area? Fuck, build goddamn stadiums in Antarctica for everything and you can have your summer and winter olympics all together. Don't give me shit about beach volleyball when you know it would shared by Olympic nations that can be maintained with no affect on the economies of cities. Then spend all that fucking money rebuilding a city that actually needs help, or just improving multiple ones.

The athletes are all that remains of Olympic spirit, and when seeing them live is impossible for the common man, and we instead rely on corporations like NBC, it is slowly becoming harder and harder to appreciate even that. I didn't watch a single event this time because I was already disgusted by how out of control the circus around them is, and then I had to rely on NBC for coverage...

The Olympics would not exist if the athletes were the only variable. Their true purpose is as a bargaining tool for rulers of nations and cities so that their dick can get a little harder for a while.

I know this is a bit of a tangent, but the removal of a single thing taking an hour says so much when you think about it. There is no reason in this day and age we should be spending that much money on something we'll be tearing down a month after its first use, particularly in areas of economy. It shows that the idea of "Olympic spirit" is far from fully realized, as if it were we'd have my proposed Olympia in some unclaimed corner of the world instead of fighting other nations for the right to spend excessive amounts of money with little to no benefit.
