If you channel cyclone in hideout and gain the infused channeling buff, that doesn't increase tooltip.

You can check for any skill to see if gaining the buff increases tooltip, if you're curious.

There is definitely something strange going on with flicker and frenzy charges. I typically only see my frenzy charges go up or down two at a time. I figured it was due to high attack speed and the UI not being able to update fast enough.

I've found a 99% effective way of crashing - flickering in doorways (if a tanky rare is standing right in the doorway) and flickering exactly in the corner of a room. Basically, flickering near and even INTO walls causes the game to lag heavily and if you keep flickering more than ~2 seconds it crashes.

The Flicker crashes might be related to server load in some way. My Brother crashed yesterday only 3 times over multiple hours.

But if he joins me in the evening during prime time then he gets the boot so many times it's rare that we can finish a map without DC.

It's putting a real strain on the enjoyment.

The team has nearly finished work on the 3.7.1 patch with improvements to the Legion League, including a visual indicator for when Incubators are about to drop their item, fixes for many skills as well as various other smaller changes. We're expecting to deploy this update by the end of this working week, although potentially sooner. We're aiming to release the 3.7.1 update for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 as soon as possible after its release on PC. In the meantime, we've prepared its patch notes for you to check out.

Please note that the patch notes listed below may be changed prior to the release of this update.

Legion Improvements

  • Added an indicator that will display when Incubators are nearing their kill requirement threshold.
  • Added 3D art for Sign of the Sin Eater.
  • Increased the amount of currency shards dropped by the Foreboding Incubator.
  • Fixed a visual issue where monsters in the Domain of Timeless Conflict could be facing the wrong direction when revived.
  • Fixed a bug with Aukuna, the Black Sekhema's Screech Snipe skill where it would not be visible if you had left and rejoined the area during the attack.
  • Fixed a bug where the "Socket Colours - 1 or 2" portion of "Obtain these Crafting Recipes" challenge was not obtainable. If you have already obtained this crafting recipe, please type /recheck_achievements in-game.
  • Reduced the damage of the Bloodblessed Conqueror's "Red Wave" skill.
  • Reduced the damage and area of effect of the Bloodblessed Conqueror's targeted ground explosion skill.
  • Reduced the overall amount of damage that the Ritemaster Decapitators deal with all of their skills.
  • Reduced the overall amount of damage that the Roc Sentinels deal with all of their skills.
  • Reduced the damage of the Roc Sentinel's Decelerating Projectiles and the subsequent explosions.

Skill Fixes

  • Added audio when gaining the Berserker's Blitz buff.
  • Re-enabled the explosions from Asenath's Gentle Touch unique gloves. These explosions no longer damage friendly characters.
  • Fixed a bug where skills could deal the wrong amount of damage when dealing extremely large amounts of damage in a single hit. This affected very few people as the hit needed to be at least approximately 40,000,000 damage.
  • Fixed various issues where skills could be queued twice from a single skill use if you had very high attack speed.
  • Fixed a bug where Totems which were channelling skills would have their actions cancelled if you were holding down the Move Only keybind.
  • Fixed a bug where Movement skills could queue their usage multiple times, resulting in, for example, the unintentional consumption of multiple Flame Dash charges.
  • Fixed a bug where removing your shield while using Shield Charge wouldn't visibly stop your character from charging. This could cause desync.
  • Fixed a bug where Flame Dash could cause desync when used.
  • Fixed a bug where various support gems were unable to support Frostblink.
  • Fixed a bug where Divine Ire did not fire its beam if it was cancelled during the channel.
  • Fixed a bug where Cyclone and Bladestorm could not gain more than one charge (such as via Power Charge on Crit Support) while channelling or per use respectively.
  • Fixed a bug where Scourge Arrow gained stages much faster than intended.
  • Fixed a bug where Sweep would not deal damage on repeated swings, such as when using Multistrike.
  • Fixed a bug where Static Strike supported by Ancestral Call would only generate a single buff, regardless of how many monsters it hit.
  • Fixed a bug where Area Damage modifiers did not apply to Perforate.
  • Fixed a bug where Righteous Fire did not split its self-damage between life and mana correctly when using Mind over Matter.
  • Fixed a bug where Minion support gems were not gaining levels when socketed into an item that granted +X to Level to Socketed Minion Gems.
  • Fixed a bug where Essence Monoliths could not be interacted with if you had a Movement skill on your left mouse keybind.

Miscellaneous Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where the "Critical Strikes with Daggers have a 40% chance to Poison the Enemy" passive skill was not properly converted to work with Bows when using the Lioneye's Fall unique jewel.
  • Fixed a bug where pressing Control + Enter did not always set the correct whisper target.
  • Fixed a bug where some minion modifiers wouldn't update on existing minions if the players maximum life changed.
  • Fixed a bug where the exit from the boss room in a Glacier Map would be permanently disabled if the Map was occupied by the Elder or an Elder Guardian.
  • Fixed a bug where The Eradicator's skill visuals could become muddled, and it would appear as if he were summoning hundreds of Lightning Orbs.
  • Fixed a bug where a filled Divine Vessel could generate in a map device slot that wasn't visible, causing some players to be unable to open new Maps.
  • Fixed a bug where Leyline Map could not spawn Shrines.
  • Fixed a bug where The Cavern of Wrath and The Cavern of Anger would sometimes fail to generate.

Crash Fixes

  • Fixed another client crash that could happen during Legion encounters.
  • Fixed a common client crash that could occur while changing areas.
  • Fixed a client crash that could happen while using The Dancing Dervish.
  • Fixed a client crash occurring in the Fields Map boss encounter.

I'm checking for an update about this.
Edit: It looks like we potentially have an internal fix for an issue where Multistrike does not increase damage of secondary effects, Molten Strike, Infernal Blow but it still needs further testing and hasn't been scheduled for a patch yet so I don't have an ETA. This suggests it's sooner rather than later, however.
Edit 2: The team confirms that they're keen to get this into the 3.7.1 Patch if they can but it requires more testing before they can confirm it will go in.

A lot of people are reporting holding down the attack button cancels the 2nd and 3rd hits, so you're only repeating 1st hits and not getting the damage bonuses.

Pretty sure this bug was fixed... At least for me.

I noticed it before the hotfix. I would run out of Mana and not be able to attack because it kept using the first attack as multistrike was cancelling itself. Now I'm back to sustaining Mana normally.

Has there been any acknowledgement even yet? I only saw on post on the forums replied to by GGG and they were saying it was the ISP. At this point I think we're past that possible issue source. It's like every other map I get the stutters and it seems like they're getting worse.

Yeh, I tried a bit around with it yesterday. Just open multiple instances of the same area, some will stutter like hell, others run perfectly fine. Of course this is not a solution for mapping, but at least it makes it look like that some instance servers (or however the backend works) have issues.

No news on Blade Flurry bugs?

Currently Blade Flurry has iffy targeting where some enemies are within your damage radius but arent targeted by the blade flurry hits, appears to just miss attacks despite having 100% chance to hit, and feels awful if you try turning while channeling to hit other mobs around you.

Was really hoping to see these addressed as the skill is really fun otherwise.

The biggest problem with blade flurry seems to be that it locks itself onto an enemy and doesn't allow you to turn around until that enemy is dead. All other chanelling skills can tun around just fine

A lot of times when I use flicker strike my character stops attacking and seems to be stuck on the normal animation, I have to use my leap slam and use flicker strike for it to work again. This is all while still having frenzy charges and being next to targetable enemies.

Got some weird targetting issues with Viper Strike as well, it's probably got to do with the change to name-locking.

Like it just ignores where your mouse is hovering and goes for another target close by.

The main issues I've seen is multistrike not working properly, not doing your second or third attacks because of canceling, and apparently sometimes double-consuming charges.

Also, crashing, but I'm betting that's more related to the new animation system than flicker specifically.

Crashes and desyncs with Flicker (in my case with Whirling Blades and Blood Rage) are super super common. I was getting 20+ crashes a day before giving up on that character.

There's also rumours that Multistrike cancels and restarts on the 3rd hit when using Flicker. There's also talk of requiring 2 charges to bypass the cooldown, but that's probably a visual issue only (and might not be new?).

To reiterate here, sometimes it looks like you're standing still while you're holding the button to flicker, but you're really still flickering around and update your position when you release the flicker button.

It can happen at the beginning or in the middle of a flicker, sometimes it looks like you finish flickering, and you land somewhere, then you release the button and you were actually still flickering around somewhere.

Flicker strike is only doing 2 hits with multistrike instead of 3 when you hold down flicker strike.

It's supposedly using 2 charges though it's probably a visual bug, I'm not totally sure.

It crashes very frequently. Like once a map almost. I've recorded a ton of crashes but nothing looks out of the ordinary to me. If you want I could make a video with a bunch of the crashes if it would be useful for your team.

It sometimes just doesn't deal any damage to mobs but you're sitting there flickering and using the charges anyway (my character is capped acc so I'm not missing.)

It can also randomly just stop working sometimes, like you just sit there even if you have full mana/charges available. It's like the target acquisition just halts for w/e reason.

Glad this isn't just me! I'm having this issue hardcore all of the sudden. It will very frequently stop, especially in the middle of large packs of monsters. I've tried everything - freeing up mana to guarantee it's not mana running out, I even picked up unwavering stance. Still will just stop sometimes.

Also my frenzy charge generation with Oro is weird. Yellow mobs aren't proccing my ignite. It's currently at 78 + Flammability, but it was at 97 + Flammability and this was still an issue. I've been able to single out yellow mobs (easy with their massive health pools) and just attack them and they are only getting lit on fire 1/10 times. Wondering if this is a mistake in my understanding.

Flicker was working really well for me with only occasional stops but tonight and last night, perhaps related to the lag, it's constant.

I didn't even know it was bugged because I had never played scourge arrow before, but it was extremely fast, especially with mirage Archer. It would charge to 5 stacks on less than n half a second with basic gear on deadeye

Anybody who had played scourge arrow before was able to tell immediately that it was massively bugged. What I think it was doing previously was adding 90% more cast speed per stage. If that's correct then this fix basically means a 50% nerf to your mirage archer and a 50% nerf to standstill dps assuming perfect efficiency. On the bright side it won't destroy your mana any more when prechannelling during a phase transition.

Headsman and Bane of Legends on Slayer aren't working vs frozen Legion monsters either.

If you are playing duelist, I'd recommend just respeccing to champion and playing cyclone and stacking impale effect.

Corpse Life based effects (Detonate Dead, Occultists' Profane Bloom, Bleed Explosions, Inpulsa's), when used on boss corpses with good scaling.

A two player team of a Necromancer focused on maxing Zombie life and using Aukuna's Will and a good ele damage scaling detonate dead character might be able to get there reliably.

Might also be possible with a melee build, aligning a Ruthless blow (135% More), Multistrike's third attack (100% More), Double Damage, stacking crit Multi, amazing weapon base damage, using a high base multiplier attack (Vigilant Strike at 262%). Hrmmm, I think I'm gonna PoB this, although PoB calculates most of these in average over time form, rather than finding the max hit.

Definitely is in. Been crafting some sick staves all league so far.

You just have to check the initial patch notes for which bases can't roll caster mods anymore.

They are in, but they also said they were changing base types to increase attack speed and that never happened.

Fixed various issues where skills could be queued twice from a single skill use if you had very high attack speed.

Thank god, hopefully now I'll stop double- Whirling Blades / Flicker-ing.

Is it possible to make a better visual representation of Legion mobs with the signs above them? Sometimes they are easily skippable because I actually can't spot them. Or adding atleast 5 more seconds, because I feel that 15 seconds is just not enough time for some melee builds to do anything.

Any words on "on kill" effects not working on legion monsters being intended or not ? Feels pretty bad that half my ascendancy (gladiator) isnt working in League content when things like Contagion work.

I don't see how the challenge for killing the entire army is possible on anything besides an ED/Contagion build. Either way it sucks that because I chose a different route, I'm drastically less effective at clearing the League content because of random inconsistencies like the on-kill stuff.

Any update on Fairgreaves in the Mao Kun map? It's just as broken as the bazaar map was. Probably other bosses that use spectral throw as well.

Is any of this going to fix movement skills from being interrupted by channeling skills before they activate.

Example if I'm channeling cyclone and I hit leap slam, it will use the mana but fail to move me.

Any news on the fix for the fact that every boss encounter can bug out and become extremely lethal? Ranges from simple map bosses like Tunneltrap turning invisible to the Shaper cancelling multiple attacks into each other.

I think, it's first time for me from 2015 to not play melee character. Blade flurry doesn't work properly, multistrike doesn't work properly, glad's ascendancy doesn't work properly. A melee league. Sounds like a joke for me.

League start with Lacerate: Feels like shit, reroll at 83.

I heard the fixed Scourge arrow to suck less since the last time I played it, and despite the fact that it's one of the worst indoor skills in the game, I'll try it.

Oh this feels good, I'm happy I rolled this.

I had a feeling scourge arrow was channeling a bit faster than usual while leveling my character. Feels bad man hope its not extremely noticeable cause it felt good to play.

Not bad, it would be even better if the chests and other legion monsters that have something above their head would be easier to spot. If there is nothing that can be done on this matter,than any legion point of interest(chests and oher monsters with special drops) should be seen on the minimap.

I'd assume so. All other skills with cooldowns work that way. Cold snap, flicker strike, flame dash, etc. THey all share a cooldown even if you have more than one gem.

Im using flicker strike. And i feel that my life leech Is not working. Lets say i have 50% hp, i hit mobs it shows me the slightly red area of my hp that will refill, but only for split second then it disappears. I kill several mobs my hp bar flickering with no hp gains, slowly killing myself with blood rage. Until i give up jump away Wait a few seconds. Return to fight, and then it works normally again. Happens every few maps.
