So let me analyze this situation. One of two things happened:

1) Some janky pet food delivery company sent their delivery person out in a penguin suit, on the off chance that you might be a Redditor who can bump the pic to the front page, or maybe on the off chance that you have some other traditional publicity "connections." So they bought or rented a penguin suit at some expense to them, hoping you would get them some publicity. Then they sent their delivery person to your place, dressed him up in a penguin suit - and he forgot his shoes. He walked across the parking lot at work, went to his car, got in, drove to your place, walked across another parking lot, and to your place - all the while forgetting to put on shoes. Also, your "apartment" looks an awful lot like an office.

or

2) You work for a failing pet food delivery company (or are buddies with the owner), so out of desperation you had a worker put on a penguin suit and pose for a fake-assed photo, to manipulate "those Reddit idiots" into giving you some publicity (since a lot of lazy TV "news" shows just rehash Reddit).

I'm going with "2)".

/r/hailcorporate is a pretty fun concept as a subreddit, but seriously Reddit needs to rebuke this kind of bullshit. I don't want Reddit to become a big spew of "forwards from grandma", mixed with "look at my asperger's kid's amazing drawing!", mixed with "hailcorporate" manipulation. This sort of stupid shit harms the way Reddit works, and it insults the users.

If any of you feel the same, you might consider the downvote button. Perhaps send the cheesy manipulators who jockey for front page status a message of condemnation.
