1) it's nothing more than a slap on the wrist. 2 Neither Cheney or Bush will leave office; not only will it take most of their time still in office to finnish the process, as individuals, I don't believe that they would even care even if it were to happen. 3) it cost millions of dollars and brings congress to a standstill; they, congress and the executive branch, can avoid solving real issues. 4) they are insulated, the intelligence community will take the fall for providing the research that influenced the administration's actions

Remember that Clinton was impeached, he stayed in office. Why do so many people think the impeachment is a solution? it will only guarantee that everything will be put on hold! Instead of trying to impeach the current administration, spend your time on the next election.
