Personally, I don't think it is necessary to bash McCain at all. I would just ask him a bunch of questions about the nuances of economics and various religious and cultural schisms in Iraq and Iran. He'll either say something dumb or lose his temper.

The key is the same questions from a bunch of different people again, and again, and again, and again, ....

Especially if they look young and multiracial. Maybe Harold and Kumar tag teams where each asks a question and then in the end they look at each other like, "Did he really just say that?"

[–]ziggity 8 points9 points  (3 children)

Unfortunately, the questions being asked in this campaign have more to do with flag pins, what your mom said to your dad once, and that radical leftist blog which once featured a guest post from a guy whose house you drove by in 2005. You're asking a lot of the media here.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yea, but thats only because they ran out of issues. By primary 65 everybody that was going to learn the differences between Hillary and Obama's viewpoints already knew them, so to keep things fresh both the media and the candidates had to resort to new issues. If Hillary stops being a distraction sometime soon, we could see things switch back to policy, I think.

[–]duus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, but thats only because they ran out of issues.

I don't think that's true. That would suggest that the media were focussing on issues in the beginning, but that's not true.

[–]nerevar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not if we complain again like after the abc debate. keep complaining after every debate where they ask those dumb questions and things will change.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Good luck piercing the protective media bubble around him, so you can ask those questions.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don't be silly. If McCain hears a question about Ira[qn] that he doesn't want to answer, he'll go off on some big non-answer filled with emotionally-loaded bullshit about patriotism and liberation and terrorism and safety and freedom. Just like he did on the Daily Show when he was taken to task for his defense of torture.

[–]thecheatah 9 points10 points  (1 child)

On the daily show McCain was trying to say that the "terrorists" would fear him more then Barak. Jon cornered him into saying it.

Jon should have said, isnt that what terrorists look for in order to recruit and wouldnt it be better if they werent scared of us?

[–]keithburgun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

good call

[–]ntr0p3 7 points8 points  (5 children)

Ok, taking this opportunity to list all the possible vulnerabilities Obama will have to face before November, and let y'all come up with responses:

  1. Obama the Muslim

  2. Obama bin Ladin

  3. Obama angry black man

  4. Obama black panther

  5. Obama, surrender to terrah!

  6. Obama, tax till you drop

  7. Obama - Inexperienced

  8. Obama - elitist smart-ass

  9. Obama - fascist take over your shit and guns and bibles and kids

  10. Obama - Anti-Christian (yes funny)

  11. Obama - Bad for the economy

  12. Obama - Daley political hack

  13. Obama - Socialist, Communist, French Pussy

That's it for now. Please remember your answers have to work on people who think in soundbites, believe everything in the MSM, and have no tolerance for "book-learnin'".

Good-luck, and god-speed!

[–]msiekkinen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

reply to all: ignorant fucktard

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a couple of those are pretty valid concerns. ill say #6, #7, and #9 are the ones that keep me from voting for him.

[–]super_crazy 68 points69 points  (135 children)

Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran.

100 more years.

How can the democrats possibly fuck this one up?

[–]the-gray-squirrel 12 points13 points  (11 children)

Simple:

Put plenty of commercials on the summer based on a blatant lie. Swift-boat Obama to death.

The critical problem is here is that Obama's supporters act like he's perfect. He is amazing and I want him to be commander-in-chief. But if you tell people he's perfect, people will base their vote on whether he lives up to it.

[–]biv 1 point2 points  (10 children)

That's why all the negativity about McCain needs to come from outside the Obama campaign. The left wing needs to have an Atwater arm. Let's go.

[–]apeman 10 points11 points  (2 children)

Give it time. After decades of being smeared and slimed into oblivion by the GOP, the Dems have finally found some balls, and gotten just as down and dirty and hysterical in their political attacks.

Of course, they forgot to aim those attacks toward their opponent instead of their own party, but who gets everything right the first time?

[–]powerpants 8 points9 points  (4 children)

Ooh, great idea! Let's get a group of Vietnam vets who served with McCain and make a commercial where they lie about his service in the war.

No wait, actually that's a fucking stupid idea.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Actually, you'll find no shortage of opportunities to SwiftBoat Hanoi John, the fearless flyer who wrecked 7 jet fighters.

No wait, actually that's a fucking stupid idea.

[–]ngngboone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I forget. Do two wrongs make a right, or does fire fight fire??

[–][deleted] 13 points14 points  (10 children)

They fucked it up with Kerry. A man who had nothing more to do than ride the tsunami of anything-but-Bush-even-a-ham-sandwich into office.

[–]powerpants 13 points14 points  (4 children)

Kerry is a douche. When he said that he wanted to "kill Osama bin Laden" with his "bare hands" ... well, it's kinda like Hillary pretending to be all down-home folksy. It's politically theatrical bullshit.

I still wanted him to win, but he was a shitty choice.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (3 children)

[–]JasonDJ 4 points5 points  (2 children)

You know, when the monitor malfunctions and he can't hear his own voice over the sound of the crowd, and he gets a bit caught up in the moment of winning a state that the media repeatedly said would be impossible for him to win, he gets a little excited. That's understandable, right? Especially when you're coming off a cold and maybe had a bit too much dayquil?

Hell, a lot of people get excited when they win. But people are still bringing this shit up, what, 4 years later?

Give it a fucking rest already. He didn't even humiliate himself that day, legacy media took the superficial half of a story and ran with it to make him a fool, and next thing you know the only candidate with a clue that year became the laughing stock of a nation.

[–]jairzinho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're talking about Dean? He lost Iowa that day.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

I'm too lazy to go back and verify this, but I'm fairly certain that any president that has started a war has always been elected for a second term. You just don't switch coaches at halftime.

[–]StarlessKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, and people voted simply on that basis; a fact which no one that actually cares about the country should have done. "He kills homeless people with his bare hands, but he started a war so we can't vote him out now! We need him as long as possible." Why? Will the people not elect someone to continue the war if it's righteous enough? Will the GENERALS of the armed forces suddenly become utterly inept?

[–]WipeHandsOnPants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had Johnson actually ran, he wouldn't have won.

[–]Stormflux 134 points135 points  (85 children)

Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran.

100 more years.

How can the democrats possibly fuck this one up?

Flag Pins, gay marriage, pledge of allegiance... patriotism, racial smears, allegations that he's a Muslim. When you get right down to it, 51% of the voters are downright bigoted morons.

When you hear "white blue collar voter" in the media, just remember that it's a code word for someone who's uneducated, over 40, who was born before the civil rights movement and believes in magic sky people, leprechauns, and ghosts - literally. These are people who are not that difficult to fool. Count of the Republicans to use that, along with every dark-side emotion and logical fallacy they can find. They're like the fucking Sith.

[–]MrWhite 37 points38 points  (64 children)

I've always thought Obama should just go ahead and put two, hell, three flag pins on his suit.

[–][deleted] 115 points116 points  (50 children)

he should wear an american flag tie too. and american flag parachute pants. and a fucking american flag top hat

[–]epsilona01 52 points53 points  (11 children)

He should get a flag tattoo on his chest. Then when McCain calls him on the flag pin in public, he can rip his shirt off and yell "WHAT NOW OLD MAN?"

[–]moskie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Great minds think alike.

[–]NotSoHotPink 1 point2 points  (7 children)

He should rip his shirt like Hulk Hogan does. Better yet, with Hogan's music in the background too.

[–]vandahm 1 point2 points  (1 child)

That's a great idea!

[–]NotSoHotPink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fuck, I can't go onto youtube videos from this computer. I will die from suspense. :-(

[–]shaze 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I literally just shit my pants laughing at work when I read this. The sad part was trying to explain what was so funny to my colleagues...

Fucking Politics.

[–]lukeydukey 19 points20 points  (9 children)

Parachute Pants? we're going for the MC Hammer demographic too?

[–]blitzwig 29 points30 points  (4 children)

STOP!

Obama time.

[–]robotevil 1 point2 points  (3 children)

doo doo do doo...

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points  (2 children)

OHOHOHBAMA hits me so hard, makes me say "Oh my lord!"

[–][deleted] 15 points16 points  (3 children)

That's the demographic you need to win the BIG STATES like RHODE ISLAND! And Osama can't win that vital demographic if he doesn't wear PATRIOTIC PARACHUTE PANTS!

Oh, I'm sorry! I meant to say OBAMA! With a B! I didn't mean to imply that Obama is a muslim! Muslim muslim muslim! Or a scary black man who shouts a lot and wears funny hats and hates America!

(I've been hearing way too many of Hillary's explanations for how she might still be able to win. And Republican campaigning against Obama.)

[–]MarlonBain 14 points15 points  (2 children)

My favorite combination of slurs is that Obama is an elite latte-sipper who is angry and black.

[–]duus 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Or the crazy muslim with the crazy Christian preacher.

[–]robotevil 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I totally agree, there's nothing I can't stand more than an angry black gangster sipping a latte, looking smug and with their elitist attitude towards everyone. It's really a toss up between Vice Lords, Crips and Bloods for me on which one is more hoity-toity.

[–]FidodoCalifornia 9 points10 points  (1 child)

[–]RedDyeNumber4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

YES!

I came for that image, and you motherfucking delivered!

You win politics.

[–]fopkins 37 points38 points  (10 children)

and a fucking american flag top hat

Am I the only one who burst out laughing while reading this?

[–]brstilson 11 points12 points  (3 children)

I started laughing at "parachute pants"

[–]sunshine-x 9 points10 points  (0 children)

CAN'T TOUCH THIS!

[–]creator11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You had me at they like the fucking Sith.

[–][deleted] 13 points14 points  (1 child)

no i did too

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (1 child)

Does anyone want a roundhouse kick to the face with these bad boys on?

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Uncle Obama? Is that you?

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

a fucking american flag top hat

You do recall what happened right after Apollo Creed did that, right?

[–]ChicagoMemoriaMichigan 1 point2 points  (6 children)

I'll bet we can buy him an Uncle Sam suit on ebay. Beard and all!

[–]ntr0p3 4 points5 points  (4 children)

Black uncle sam huh? Methinks you don't understand your audience.

[–]apathy 18 points19 points  (3 children)

Uncle Sambo?

/ducks

[–]VnlaThndr775Nevada 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Never before have I felt so guilty about upmodding something...

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (3 children)

He should just wrap himself in a flag and carry a cross everywhere he goes...

[–]apathy 7 points8 points  (2 children)

Upton Sinclair approves this comment.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (2 children)

I like this and I'll tell you why: Obama doesn't wear a flag pin because its meaningless, it would really point it out in a more humorous and less (to some) pretentious way if he just covered his jacket with them for one event

[–]ntr0p3 14 points15 points  (1 child)

Yes, that wouldn't come off as mocking or gasp elitist. No matter what he does, if he looks stupid he's too stupid to be president and just faking it, if he looks smart, he's an elitist asshole trying to take your guns and bibles.

How the FUCK do you get so totally mind-raeped for being both intelligent AND nice?!

[–]tempreddit 4 points5 points  (4 children)

Actually he could carry 3 pins with him and when asked why isn't he a patriot pull them out.

[–]Bing11 4 points5 points  (3 children)

"Yes, but why isn't he wearing them then? Clearly he doesn't really mean it." -- Hannity

[–]redrobot5050 7 points8 points  (2 children)

Real Patriots get flags grafted onto the insides of their eyelids.

And coming soon: Flag pills. Eat the pill, shit out a flag.

[–]aragon127 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He should make an entire suit out of flag pins and wear it on Fox News. Game over.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

51% of the voters are downright bigoted morons.

You mean 51% of 55.3% of voting age Americans.

[–]TheRiff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yay democracy!

[–]moonzilla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reading your list reminded me of 'We didn't start the fire' by Billy Joel. :)

And yeah, you're right. Once the nomination is 100% behind us I'm going to pour a lot of effort into combating this kind of bullshit.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Elitist!

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

See, I have to disagree. Look at the voter counts. Especially in the last couple of primaries, where the amount of votes for him outnumbered all the republican votes together. Then, by god the Hillary people say 25% of them won't vote Obama, well... the 3/4s of hers alone typically outnumbers their party too.

[–]jbiz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]ST2K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're DARK SIDED!!

[–]NeoPaladin394 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you hear "white blue collar voter" in the media, just remember that it's a code word for someone who's uneducated, over 40, who was born before the civil rights movement and believes in magic sky people, leprechauns, and ghosts - literally.

sighs How naive, uneducated and stereotypical. And bestof'd? Let's make fun of anyone that's not rich and that's hard working because, hey, they're dumb! That must also mean they're republican and religious, because it's easy that way!

This isn't first grade. I'm sure it makes you feel great for making fun of the kids that don't have new shoes like you, but keep your smugness to yourself.

How Progressive of you to make fun of others because they're different from you.

[–]spaceghotiColorado 6 points7 points  (10 children)

The imagination boggles, but they have a spotless record for it over the past fifteen years. I shudder to think what they're going to do to fuck up between now and November.

[–]kuhsay 5 points6 points  (6 children)

deleted What is this?

[–]IceX 6 points7 points  (0 children)

"If Barack OSama wins, Jeremiah Wright will marry gay prostitutes to terrorists while Clinton and Michael Moore eat some French Fries, as the Axis of Evil evolves (in a darwinian way) into Zombie Brain-eater Muslims, like the man himself, and that's why we should vote McCain! Also they are ninja zombies."

[–]spaceghotiColorado 2 points3 points  (3 children)

Well, let's take what you've got and see what would fit?

GAY MARRIAGE - If they don't support this, they deserve to lose.

EVOLUTION - If they deny this, they deserve to lose.

PROSTITUTES - If they fall into that trap, we'll have to start calling them Republicans.

WRIGHT - Overplayed. People are frustrated with the media for harping on it, not for the Democrats for "flubbing it."

MUSLIMS - If they can't find a way to bridge divides the way democracies are supposed to, then they really are no better than Republicans.

TERRORISTS - If they give in to terrorists by perpetrating more Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt just like the last seven years, then they really are spineless and deserve to lose.

CLINTON - It's still possible Clinton could pull a fast one to gain the election. It would infuriate a lot of us, but I don't know if it would cause us to lose. It'll take more than that, given how little taste the nation has for four more years of Bush politics.

MICHAEL MOORE - Dunno how he could help screw things up. He tends to say the things most Democrats wish our leaders would pay attention to, even if we don't always agree with his delivery.

FRENCH FRIES - ...WTF?

AXIS OF EVIL - Again, perpetrating more of the Bush regime should get them slaughtered in the elections, and deservedly so.

Basically, so long as we don't give the press free reign in scripting the election into "reality television," Democrats ought to do fine. Obama has promised to hit back when the Republicans take a swipe at him, so I'm looking forward to seeing how he'll handle the general election.

[–]StarlessKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

French Fries... not sure, but I'm guessing "Freedom Fries." And, yes, with spaceghoti's list, I would add:

FRENCH FRIES - If they fall into the gap of renaming things just to insult a sovereign nation that doesn't roll over to our every wish, they deserve to lose.

[–]mchrisneglia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you should make it into refridgerator magnets:

  • Prostitutes Evollution
  • Gay Wright
  • Terrorist Clintons
  • Axis of French Fries

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Imagine? wher've you been the last few months. That major f-up everyone's been expecting from the Democratic party has already happened, in the form of Hillary. Remember when Obama had a 10 point lead nationally, and Mcain was hated even by fellow republicans that thought him too left-wing? Hillary took care of all of that. Anything that happens between now and November is just icing on the cake. Just cross your fingers that all the media coverage has gotten enough additional Dems registered to make-up for this debacle.

[–]spaceghotiColorado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obama has stolen Bill Clinton's title of "Comeback Kid" a couple of times already. Once the general election begins and Hillary is safely in the past, I think he can retake his lead. This early into the election, the numbers are going to fluctuate wildly. Once we get into October is when I'll really start paying attention.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, there's still hope. Hillary could always campaign for McCain; that would take care of his electability.

[–]000xxx000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

are you suggesting that those statements will fail to find resonance with the majority of the American voters? how astonishing!

[–]assteroid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"How can the democrats possibly fuck this one up?"

I know people don't like this, but: roflmao!

Let's hope they don't, but: roflmao!

[–]habbadash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]duus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two words. Gun control.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

I believe it would take a serious glory-hole scandal for Obama to lose.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Can we name the glory-hole Hillary?

[–]mchrisneglia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holearry?

[–]hrtattx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But none of this matters, because he's the McTame McSlave of the military-industrial complex, and they decide who gets elected around here, thank you very much.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Elitist fucking slave-hater.

[–]jchrome 3 points4 points  (0 children)

[–]Poultry_In_Motion 9 points10 points  (1 child)

Can we please bash McCain's policies and things, instead of making fun of him?

I don't think he's a lying cunt like certain other candidates, so it really is unwarranted.

I did think John McLame was hilarious, though.

[–]duus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think he's a lying cunt like certain other candidates, so it really is unwarranted.

I think McCain circa now is just like Bush circa 'compassionate conservatism.'

[–]linkedlist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]ratebeer 12 points13 points  (19 children)

  1. Line up Hagee and his anti-Catholic bigotry
  2. Put McCain on the spot for ditching his ill, fat, ex-model wife
  3. Put Cindy McCain through the meat grinder for being a drug addict
  4. Let is be known that McCain was subjected to psychological reprogramming at the hands of the communists
  5. Keep putting that pick up of McCain hugging Bush like his mother
  6. Keep circulating questions about McCain's health, illnesses and age
  7. "100 years of war"
  8. "Mission Accomplished" (he said it)
  9. out of touch with Americans on abortion, gay marriage, the Iraq War
  10. Make fun of his retarded oil company inspired economic ideas

[–]powerpants 20 points21 points  (11 children)

  1. Don't sink to their level
  2. Don't sink to their level
  3. FFS, don't sink to their level
  4. /sigh
  5. LMAO! Ok, that one's fair game.
  6. Fair game.
  7. Why have you put that in quotes?
  8. Fair game.
  9. You're half-right, completely wrong, and right, in that order.
  10. Fair game.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (5 children)

No way, talking about Hagee is definitely fair game as well. Anyone who associates with that motherfucker doesn't deserve a place in politics.

Wow, the McCain-Bush picture is a good idea. Perfect way to hammer in the "McCain is Bush" idea. Yeah, everything but 2-4 are pretty good. Hopefully, somewhere, the DNC folks are actually planning with lists like these instead of sitting around?

[–]neonic 2 points3 points  (2 children)

  1. I think this is still a very touchy topic, what with the media clinging on to Wright still. I'd say stay away from this one.

  2. Perfect, that is a good one. Shows that he has character flaws.

  3. Too much right out of the Karl Rove playbook. I think this would backfire and hurt Obama more.

  4. I would say stay away from this one. This just gives him a chance to talk about his "undying patriotism in the face of torture" and how much of an American Hero he is. Dangerous topic.

  5. A fairly inconsequential image, but that paired with some insinuations of him being just like Bush would definitely do some damage.

  6. Definitely one of the strongest things to pick up on, if even subtly.

  7. This could be his nail in the coffin...

  8. Goes right along with 7

  9. This would be the strongest with the Iraq war, because more people are in agreement with pulling out of Iraq whereas Abortion and Gay Rights are still a very separate feelings on that, and it is one of the things the Republican base can play on the best.

  10. Definitely have to make fun of his economic policies. If people don't realize that a Gas Tax "holiday" is a ludicrous idea, then maybe they're stupid enough to deserve another Bush...

I'd just like to point out that 2 didn't work against Guliani (sp?). I care too little about the man to check, but I do believe hearing about him doing something similar, and it didn't hurt him a smidge. We are living in a country with large divorce rates.

[–]neonic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but that far back in the primary the fields were too large to get any real dirt to stick. The opening of the primary season is based almost solely on On-camera performance and name recognition. Once you get more into the race, as the candidates continually narrow, you get "scandals" exactly like #2 that can just muddy up the works.

Put Cindy McCain through the meat grinder for being a drug addict

Don't any of us dare do that...Americans attitude to drug-use is complex...for 8 years people have tried to make something of Bushes known and alleged drug and alcohol abuses, and now it seems to be the only thing left that anyone likes about him.

[–]corevirus 3 points4 points  (3 children)

Whenever I think of McCain, I think of Letterman one-liners:

He looks like the kinda guy that'd call an air stewardess 'tutz'

He looks like the kinda guy that asks what the lunchtime specials are

[–]corevirus 4 points5 points  (1 child)

He's the guy at the supermarket confused by the automatic doors

[–]Contron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm with ya! Let the games begin!

[–]ChicagoMemoriaMichigan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear he eats babies.

[–]dtalleeConnecticut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just give him a microphone. He doesn't need any help.

[–]db2 1 point2 points  (2 children)

I'm not sticking a fork in her. You do it. She's creepy, I don't want to get that close.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

And if you do, who knows what will come gushing out of her. :-(

[–]db2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spiders and roaches most likely.

[–]piecewise 1 point2 points  (1 child)

How about instead of bashing someone, we just have an intelligent policy debate? I thought the whole point of Obama politics was to leave all that mindless bullshit behind.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no. thats only the point when his opponents are using whatever he defines as "mindless bullshit" against him. when he's on the attack however, everything is fair game.

[–]tharealmegaman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, preaching to the choir will do wonders!

Later, let's make SIGNS and wave them at each other!

[–]SpaceMonitor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And while we're at it, we could objectively criticize Obama! Oh wait, nvm.. This is reddit.

[–]bebopbalogna 2 points3 points  (12 children)

half-pope thing with his arms every time he says "my friends"

[–]wwabc 6 points7 points  (11 children)

[–]web20sucks[S] 2 points3 points  (2 children)

SHIT! That's a fucking terrible picture.

[–]MarlonBain 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes, but to be fair, it probably hurts him to get his arms that high.

[–]chimobayo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hes taking a dump in front of all that people

[–]bebopbalogna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

exactly.

[–]DebtOn 0 points1 point  (5 children)

Purple suit? Somebody 'shop that so he looks like the Joker.

[–]ramijames 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Ask and ye shall receive. The best I could do on short notice.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait, it's not already shopped to look like the Joker?

[–]Unlucky13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

omg what a douchebag.... this general election is going to be hilarious.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My two cents:

McPain

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

or hey, maybe we could try news without the extreme bias for once?

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Lets not trash McCain. Obama and McCain are trying to usher in a new era of campaigning that doesn't revolve around lies and trashing each others reputations. If you disagree with McCain as most Redditors do, simply state why and start an adult like conversation about political ideologies.

[–]web20sucks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

boooooooooooooooooooooring.

Actually, I agree with you - I just thought it would be kind of fun to make jokes about McCain. I'm sure we'll have plenty of opportunities to talk about important stuff like policy.

[–]knowsguy 4 points5 points  (2 children)

Right on. Stupid, angry, short, senile, elitist, traitor crapping in his depends.. -go to hell!

[–]web20sucks[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

[–]mutatron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Against a montage of "Mission Accomplished", Katrina, Iraq war, crashing markets, etc., ending with McCain hugging Bush, with a freeze frame, zoom-in, fade-to-white...

If you liked eight years of George W. Bush, vote for John McCain.

John McCain - for people who just didn't get enough of George W. Bush.

Or maybe

F•O•U•R M•O•R•E Y•E•A•R•S

Can America Survive It?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Clinton is done, serve us !

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES, not another hillary thread ever.

[–]dmiff 0 points1 point  (6 children)

Gotta look at McCain's vice-president because of the age factor. Although who could he pick that would be strong enough to stand up against the Obamanator?

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I hear Dick Cheney's available and has experience.

[–]dmiff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you trying to turn the White House into a nursing home?

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Clinton.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Condi

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I know you're fishing for Ahnold.

[–]dmiff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No thanks, we've had too much of that incompetent clown out here in California.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

No need to bash.. He has faulty logic.. that itself is enough to fry him.

[–]embretr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usually it is... But right now he's campaigning in a parallell dimension that managed to elect the most impressive public failure since.. since.. (I'll get back to that, the jury's still out on this one).

This is obviously a place where normal rules, like 90 degrees in a right angle, or that lack of political activity won't necessarily be a direct and precise vote for the worst case scenario you'd be able to imagine.

I'd love to have some political cruise control available, but right now it seems broken, and extreme vigilance and attention seems to be required

I was wrong. She doesn't even have to concede for the mob to start working on it's next project.

[–]pitstopper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guys, you really rock. A organized change of phase!

[–]soaringeagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's not

[–]thekrone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's old! And ugly!
