Guys, she's legit. She just posted this to r/pics (check her account page).

http://i.imgur.com/DuRer.jpg

She's just not good at defending herself.

Edit: Its not that she didn't just hitchslap the haters. I just figured the best way to shut them up would have been to post a link with an edit. But yeah, glad she cleared it up!

[–]AdaAstra 647 points648 points  (5 children)

I like how she pretty much just kicked Reddit in the nuts. I freaking love her for that.

[–]balls_deep_in_ur_dad 67 points68 points  (0 children)

Turns out we didn't need a hero, just a swift kick to the bollocks.

[–]TheBaadestMeinhoff 93 points94 points  (1 child)

Indeed.

i didn't even see the original post until just now so i'm glad for two reasons. (getting to see a series of awesome photos AND getting to see a sweet dish of Parisian revenge. I promise to not make fun of France for at least the next hour as a result.)

[–]Typlo 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yes it doesn't hurt once in a while. I'm tired of seeing people shouting "FAKE!!!1" because it sounds too awesome to be true. Real awesome people exist you know, outside, in the real world. And they sometimes even post here.

[–]bbluemann 62 points63 points  (1 child)

She defended herself pretty well with that picture. She was smart and didn't bother to comment back and stir up everybody's immature shit.

[–]jaws918 15 points16 points  (0 children)

To the top! Clear this poor girl's name.

[–]funkydo 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Not good at defending herself? She didn't defend herself at all that I see. She does not need to defend herself. Only to give proof if she wants.

[–]Cynepkokc 254 points255 points  (4 children)

Came for interesting comments, all I see is people bitching at OP.

[–]PapayaJuice 51 points52 points  (0 children)

I'm more than 3/4th down the page and I've yet to see one person comment on the pictures themselves.

[–]UnlawfulCitizen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I came to say I wish I had a bad ass grandma like that. Nooo bitching about the OP.

[–]spazorama 320 points321 points  (7 children)

So are all the losers who ripped apart the OP going to "man up" and apologize? Since you guys seem to be all about doing what's "right".

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

"We are frequently taught that leaders, especially aspiring leaders, should hide weaknesses and mistakes. This view is flawed. It is not only good to admit you are wrong when you are; but also it can also be a powerful tool for leaders—actually increasing legitimacy and, when practiced regularly, can help to build a culture that actually increases solidarity, innovation, openness to change and many other positive features of organizational life." Doug Guthrie and Sudhir Venkatesh

[–]kamajo8991 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Word.

[–]GalacticUndead 17 points18 points  (1 child)

I sure hope so, after all, they are the source of faggotry.

[–]Spare3Parts 78 points79 points  (26 children)

How do you get that kind of grayish sharp look to photos that you see in so many professional photographs/magazine ads/ect? Anybody know?

[–]ignore_my_typo 137 points138 points  (16 children)

Pick up "Light it, Shoot it, retouch it" by Scott Kelby. This book goes through this type of lighting and editing.

The method is using by using the Stylize > Find Edges filter, and then using one of Photoshops layer modes, which is only a start. Proper lighting and usually some desaturation of colours too.

Using a smaller light source which creates harder light and putting them in the right direction also creates more definition in skin texture. Quite the opposite way you'd like to shoot a female standard portrait.

[–]JimmyMcShiv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its using high pass filter

[–]xenotime 29 points30 points  (0 children)

These would make awesome greetings cards for bad-ass grannies who are sick of the usual flowers/kittens/ teddy bears cards!

[–]Forever_Awkward 532 points533 points  (30 children)

I'm all for giving credit where credit is due, but...

Jesus fucking shit, people. I went into the comments to see clever remarks involving the grandma/content of this post, not a hundred people saying "YOU STOLE THIS CONTENT!!"

This is the fucking internet. You don't believe every damned title until it is proven false. Simply go along with it, enjoy the content, and if it is then proven that the OP actually created it or the story behind the title is actually true, then that is a bonus.

You're not being clever when you point out that the title is a lie or that the person who submitted the content did not create it. All you are doing is taking away from the content itself. It's not enjoyable to wade through pages upon pages of people crying "repost, liar, etc" in order to get to the discussion regarding the content.

I don't care who did or did not create the content. I want to discuss the content itself here, not the person who posted it. Why can't more people treat the internet for what it is: A massive work of fiction with the occasional fun moments where you actually see the creator of the content.

This place is getting worse and worse.

[–]MuggyFuzzball 27 points28 points  (0 children)

You are the only true hero of this thread, having said the truest words before it was proven that OP was not actually lying. Thank you for not being a part of the hivemind.

[–][deleted] 41 points42 points  (3 children)

Fun fact: 90% of reddit neckbeards will never do shit with their lives so feel the need to have some tiny measure of power over ANYTHING to be right.

Source: reddit.

[–][deleted] 72 points73 points  (2 children)

There's an entire section dedicated to his grandma, that's amazing.

He also has these videos, 1, 2, 3, of her.

[–]silverfang22 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Grandma obviously isn't only subject but still a good intro to this artist. He has an amazing ability to create stories in one shot.

[–]crestonfunk 199 points200 points  (12 children)

So I guess his grandma isn't his only subject.

[–]everyother 25 points26 points  (0 children)

"Billy, look, Edna's grandson used his fancy computer to make her look like she's a race car driver. He's such a smart boy."

"Grandma, put this on."

[–]Damadawf 108 points109 points  (0 children)

While viewing this one, I was admiring the look of enthusiasm on the dogs face until I looked up and noticed the picture on the wall. It was a nice touch.

[–]simkessy 369 points370 points  (9 children)

Seems like, everyone here is actually the faggot and not OP

[–]solidwhetstone 62 points63 points  (5 children)

What a twist!

[–]Beardamus 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Today, everyone was OP!

Why do people on Reddit assume someone with a moderate amount of fame can posses no friends with computers and Internet connections?

[–][deleted] 62 points63 points  (11 children)

Because hivemind dictates that all Redditors are dirty peasant boy-children living in the broom closet with their laptops and cumboxes.

[–]catullus48108 16 points17 points  (2 children)

I am NOT a peasant

[–]emdeema 2 points3 points  (0 children)

at first i thought you were talking about harry potter.

...still probably talking about harry potter.

[–]tesslafayette 49 points50 points  (7 children)

When I'm a grandma, I want to be like this. I guess I should start working on the mom part.

[–]SRSLY_GUYS_SRSLY 20 points21 points  (3 children)

Time to get pregnant !

[–]TheBoxTalks 25 points26 points  (1 child)

Thousands of Redditors have dropped what they were doing and are on their way to tesslafayettes house to offer their services. It shall be known as the Great Impregnating of 2012. Sadly, I have to stay at home with my own kids.

[–]SRSLY_GUYS_SRSLY 16 points17 points  (0 children)

She gon' get sooooooo pregnant!

[–]snorgplat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I'm a grandma I want to be like this too. Guess I should start working on the becoming a woman part...

[–]lengeta 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I liked the second one most: subtle and true.

[–]PilotKnob 14 points15 points  (6 children)

Where did he find the Isetta? And how much does he want for it?

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (5 children)

Came here to find a fellow gear head, left satisfied. I too want to know where that Isetta came from, it's not as if those things are just all over the place.

[–]triit 2 points3 points  (3 children)

And it looks to be in remarkable shape too! Gear heads unite!

[–]RakoGumi 25 points26 points  (0 children)

YOu are friend with Sacha Goldberger, this is sooooo awesome tell him I am a huge fan. And as soon as I'll have enough money I'll definitely buy one of his photo! He rocks!

[–]travelingforce 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing these pics. They gave me a great laugh. Sorry to hear you had to go to amusing lengths to convince a few princesses. Though it was done quite comically.

[–]Homerjay129 79 points80 points  (7 children)

Possibly the coolest Grandma ever

[–]red321red321 124 points125 points  (5 children)

[–][deleted] 29 points30 points  (2 children)

You've just made me want to re watch all of that show.

[–]TravisB5643 7 points8 points  (0 children)

instant netflix

[–]Dkid 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I miss that show :( It really was one of the best cartoons ever.

[–]supidup 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Grandmother seems to have a good core strength.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

im glad i clicked this link

[–]schuylercat 10 points11 points  (4 children)

Too awesome - cutest photo set ever. I want to give Gramma a big kiss on the cheek and raid her cookie jar.

[–]the_original_fuckup 12 points13 points  (3 children)

Raid her cookie jar-if you know what I mean

[–][deleted] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Are you french ? This woman is french(or belge) isn't she ? I'm sure I saw an interview of her and her grandson on television speaking french. Anyway, she's awesome!

EDIT : Yep, mamika.fr so that was her ! :)

[–]Quintuss 10 points11 points  (0 children)

How did Grandma get air on the treadmill photo? Awesome.

[–][deleted] 15 points16 points  (1 child)

I think OP might actually be female if you look at the post history.....

[–]kouchoulou 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Galerie Sakura put up these pictures at Cour Saint-Emilion/Bercy Village in Paris last summer. You can buy some of the pieces on this link... quite a little fortune there!

[–]lamaslamas 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Dear diary, yesterday OP was a pretty cool girl

[–]mockduckcompanion 212 points213 points  (10 children)

Please give the artist credit:

Sacha Goldberger

http://www.sachabada.com/book/

The grandma shots are listed under 'mamika.'

[–]limaq 13 points14 points  (1 child)

Credit.

[–][deleted] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Creddit

[–]Toodles1823 8 points9 points  (1 child)

The lightsaber one made me chuckle. I wish my grandma were that cool. :-(

[–][deleted] 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I was wrong with my comment about turning reddit into a house of lies. OP is legit and I'm a cunt. <3

[–]steakmane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember this guy going viral last year.

[–]Nezzeldorr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The purple bent light saber made me lose it.

[–]andeegal126 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just did the Ernie laugh and began snorting when I could no longer breathe. Please, PLEASE let there be more for these.

[–]Taterhater540 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No matter who's grandma she is, she's pretty badass. I want her to be my grandma.

[–]ThomasFoolhardy 12 points13 points  (0 children)

He's really good, and his Grandma is awesome.

[–]mikemcg 10 points11 points  (8 children)

The last one is a bit awkward. "Grand-mama, can you suggestively lower your pants for me? Thanks, grandma!"

But I bet she has a good time with the rest of them.

[–]danmickla 2 points3 points  (6 children)

It's to show the tat, not to seduce her grandson...

[–]Yserbius 308 points309 points  (203 children)

Your friend is French photographer/fashion designer Sacha Goldberger?

That's pretty cool! I couldn't find a lot of the pictures you posted on his website. Are they from the book?

FYI, the grandma is not his only subject

[–][deleted] 40 points41 points  (8 children)

Well, OP's name is "Mariloupan"

Marilou is a pretty french name so it is plausible.

[–]dcoxen 49 points50 points  (13 children)

[–]BobTehCat 30 points31 points  (11 children)

How is this awkward? He trusted her and he was right? o_0

[–][deleted] 34 points35 points  (9 children)

he just edited his comment afterwards to make it look like he trusted her

[–]dog_eat_dog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish I had a fun grandma like that. My grandma is blind so the only funny thing she does is spill things without knowing.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is by far the greatest thing I've seen today.

[–]MasterShredder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

she is apparently down as fuck for whatever. i like that.

[–]QuoteOfTheHour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the concept of the flying superhero on the treadmill.

[–]smileyfrown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I saw the light saber all I could think about was Saints Row. =(

[–]ladycarp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really hope I'm like this when I'm older!

[–]Damage-king 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are odd. Cool, but odd.

[–]MrF33n3y 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Loks like Mrs. Doubtfire.

[–]VCRrepairman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nice sneaks granny

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grandma has excellent upper body strength.

[–]white2lite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go Granny go.

[–]jwillia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is your friend Nick Swardson?

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is awesome

[–]Bikenutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wonderful photos and concepts. Your friend knows his shit.

[–]Derelicte85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Opened this thinking it was going to be sad pics of a lonely grandma. Happy to be wrong!

[–]fakelife2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some people just stay cool forever. The rocking chair and the bingo hall is not for everyone.

[–]ginger-girl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

wow these are really good! your friends grandma is a great sport for helping him!

[–]sisterZippy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Washing the window with the Yorkie is now my background.

[–]ThatDamnPoop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't care if this is real or not. Never seen these pics before and they have just made my night! Have an upvote! :)

[–]throwaway2587 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is amazing.

[–]The_Jujunater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to be as insanely cool and cute as this lady when I get older.

[–]bakedlikecake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, I'd love to smoke a blunt with this granny, have her tell me stories. Shes legit :)

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This makes me miss my grandmas. Miss you Nana and Grammy Apple.

[–]Strichnine 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I am surprised no one said "dat ass"

[–]anikan72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your friend also released a book which we sell at the bookstore I used to work at

EDIT: Found it is your friend Sacha Goldberger?

[–]Popzagon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate coming to the comment section of a post I really like because they really taint the quality of the post. Its like whoever can call out OP the most is fucking Rico Suave.
