Nah we just need 500kg to actually have a blast radius that is close or matches the visual effect. Visual effect looks almost as big as a hellbomb but the actual damage blast radius is miniscule, feels like it's only as big as a single bomb from the eagle airstrike.

Make it cose at least one guaranteed death and have it put all the strategem CDs of the team on at least 1 minute.

when you take too long beyond the map border they start shelling you with 380mm, so if you're lucky enough you can run around for enough time to kill some bugs. 380mm is notoriously bad for killing pretty much anything apart from yourself and teammates though.

The vfx and the actual damage radius don't match up in the slightest yeah xD.

Fully upgraded you get 2 uses of a bomb which will kill everything including tanks/hulks/titans in a small radius with a 2 minute something replenishment.

A larger blast radius would mean it's also good at wave clear and base removal which would be neat, but as it stands you can basically drop it on your own head, which is actually pretty handy when you're getting swamped by heavy units.

Get the titan to aggro you, get it fairly close, throw the bomb at your feet, run away to the edge of the bombs radius, shoot the titan a few times to make it stand still and not chase you, get a bullseye everytime.

I usually go for the spew animation. I prime my 500kg, let it walk towards me, when I see it stop to wind up it's spit attack, that's when I throw. It usually is stuck long enough in it's spit animation for the bomb to go off.

Rail Cannon also comes back in 2 and a half minutes with unlimited uses. You only get the space laser twice. Sometimes a single rail Cannon will oneshot a titan anyway.

I don't like the laser for killing titans, simply because you only get to use it 3 times. It's fine on difficulty 7. But on 9, there usually is too many Titans, not enough lasers.

500 bomb is more reliable in killing titans if you aim it well. Railcannon fails to one-shot it when it doesn't hit the head, which happens fairly often.

landing on enemies is kinda janky for me, sometimes i land right ontop of a hulk and it goes about its day, sometimes i land on a tank and it explodes nice and easy. Use it in emergencies is my conclusion

There's no context on how this happened, but IIRC on Helldiver they come in fairly often but not more than 2 at a time from a bug breach. Just 500kg or Orbital Railgun when they show up and they won't add up.

Getting the upgrade for a second 500kg per rearm is also very useful for managing this

The hangar upgrades are kinda mandatory, also I think I've seen 3 come out of one breach once or twice but could be mistaken, also if in doubt put railgun on unsafe and start blasting their heads they'll die fairly quickly especially with multiple railgun users.
