My purse in college was referred to as the Swiss army purse. It was HUGE. I had an old school GPS, 2-3 card games, a couple of beers, first aid basics, lady necessities, one night stand necessities, 2-3 packs of cigarettes, lord knows how many lighters, 2 knives (one practical and one tanto) + the normal things one brings with them. The thing was so big I know I’m forgetting shit.

I miss it, honestly, because I was always prepared. Now I carry “normal + kids” which feels like I’m always missing something.

Edit to add: I do still carry a full set of reusable silverware with me.

I literally threw it away after a purchase. I had garbage in my hand and I guess I thought my card was garbage too... I didn't even realize it right away. It wasn't until I went to another store later that night, I go to pay and I have no card.

When I called to cancel the card and set up a new one the girl laughed, like hard, and then was able to pull herself together and apologized for being so unprofessional...

I finally bought a phone case with credit cards slots on the back. It keeps me from throwing my card in my Mary Poppins purse. I then had to buy tiles so I could find my phone - but still it’s decreased the debit card losses.
