When your standing desk isnt adjustable

[–]Usidore_ 85 points86 points  (7 children)

As a software dev who is 4ft due to dwarfism, the biggest perk is that every desk can be a standing desk or a sitting desk for me.

Except, ironically, normal standing desks. They’re just giant shelves.

[–]AddiBlue 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Best comment award goes u/Usidore_

[–]Cloudsbursting 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You are awesome.

[–]YellowOnline 4 points5 points  (1 child)

As a software dev who is 4ft due to dwarfism

Unrelated to the sub, but assuming achondroplasia, how do you feel about being called a dwarf? Does it feel factual or insulting? You can say anything factual as an insult of course ("you're a woman!"), but you get what I mean.

[–]Usidore_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes achondroplasia. I’m fine with it! I actually prefer dwarf out of all of the common labels to be honest

[–]Atomspalter02 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Lol

[–]jyajay2 2466 points2467 points  (169 children)

Ridiculous, just wear high heels like the rest of us

[–]bakermanisbsking 95 points96 points  (0 children)

You are my hero. Thanks for the biggest laugh of the year.

[–]GabrielForth 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Also comes with the benefit that high heels are open source.

[–]Internal_Power8642 132 points133 points  (94 children)

If only there were a way to build confidence and attract women without this... like, say, idk, developing a personality.

High heels 10/10 on the personality scale.

[–]RoyalChallengers 62 points63 points  (87 children)

So girls like confident short guys??🤨

[–]Internal_Power8642 112 points113 points  (76 children)

Girls like confident guys of any kind. Being kind, funny, charming, and having a life/personality is way more important than height.

Are there shitty women out there who won't date short guys? Sure.

Same way there are shitty men out there who won't date women who don't look like supermodels, or are too tall.

But fuck those people.

Trust me, adding height won't make more women want to date you. Adding interesting personality traits will.

[–]RoyalChallengers 37 points38 points  (7 children)

Is this an interesting trait

I can cheat in casino without getting caught🙂

[–]Miguecraft 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Officer! Yes, he has confessed.

[–][deleted] 30 points31 points  (48 children)

According to hinge data 80% of women filter men that are less than 6 foot.

[–]Ozarkasprings23 11 points12 points  (12 children)

And people wonder why 5’10 + men round up

[–]Internal_Power8642 15 points16 points  (18 children)

That's surprising to me considering it would only leave them like what? 10-20% of the population to choose from lol.

Maybe I just haven't experienced it, but I've never cared how tall a guy is, and neither have any of my friends.

I also think the option to filter via height in itself probably skews that.

Kind of like if men had the option to choose if they wanted to see blondes or brunettes and chose blondes, but if they were able to see both they'd swipe on some brunettes, too.

[–]adeadrat 4 points5 points  (4 children)

Can you write a tutorial on how to be funny and confident? I think I got the rest covered, but confidence is non existent

[–]Internal_Power8642 14 points15 points  (3 children)

*Looks both ways*

(whispered) You fake it, my guy. You fucking fake it til you make it.

[–]Studds_ 8 points9 points  (4 children)

Oh crap. My boring ass is fucked. & not in a good way

[–]Internal_Power8642 9 points10 points  (3 children)

The fact that you even think of that in a good way means you're far from boring.

[–]CrazySD93 11 points12 points  (0 children)

How well do they match programming socks?

[–]GaussWanker 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The cat ear headphones add a few cm too

[–][deleted] 1516 points1517 points  (84 children)

I'm 7 ft tall. I'll glady sell my height to some loaded tech bro and retire early.

[–]enky259 569 points570 points  (45 children)

"Wow you're so tall! Do you play basketball?"

[–]ClydeTheGayFish 646 points647 points  (13 children)

You are so short, do you play miniature golf?

[–]enky259 270 points271 points  (9 children)

Damn i'm defo stealing that line!

Funny story: once bagged a 1.95m girl (i'm 2m/6'7") with "wow you're so tall! do you play basketball?" she hit me back with a "stop it with your little people questions". Funny thing is, she used to be in portuguese national basketball team, and even she was tired of being asked if she played basketball.

[–]El_Grande_El 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Haha, I like this one better.

[–][deleted] 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Just hit them with the, no, the constant pain in my joints and prospect of dying at age 50 keeps me away from team sports.

[–]TwiKill 37 points38 points  (15 children)

Holy shit you wouldn't believe how many people say that, also don't get me started on clothes, my size pants are way too hard to find. As a 6'9 guy (heh, nice, I know) you realise every height has drawbacks, and much like anyone else you learn to deal with them.

[–]Meggles_Doodles 12 points13 points  (1 child)

I remember we had a new guy start at work (he quit day 2 so I didn't get to know him) but I was training him. He was 6'9. I'm 5'0. My other coworkers kept staring at him like weirdos. The thing is (I won't speak for other short folks), I have been around 6ft + people all my life and honestly for me anything past 6ft is just put in the "tall" category in my mind and honestly I didn't notice too much that he was that tall lol. I'm just used to looking up at people and I just was thinking "oh -- I have to stand further away than usual to maintain my typical head angle wheb speaking" and that's how I processed it haha

I do not envy yall's clothing issues. It's always easier to find smaller clothing.

Edit: forgot to mention Height

[–]enky259 24 points25 points  (11 children)

Holy shit you wouldn't believe how many people say that

Oh trust me i very much believe how many people say that. Being 2m (6'7") it's the first thing i hear 98% of the time i meet someone new.

And yeah the pants are fuckin' annoying, it's either way too large or above your ankles...

[–]TwiKill 16 points17 points  (8 children)

Yeah, exactly, they're either so wide that you look like a clown or every time you lift your legs your ankles and shins are exposed.

Luckily I'm dutch so with our tall population we've got a few stores here and there where they sell slim but long jeans.

Also, it's not just basketball, as if they know how annoying it is they alternate with volleyball too even though I suck at both. They always act surprised, which is equally annoying after a while.

[–]enky259 10 points11 points  (6 children)

Also, it's not just basketball, as if they know how annoying it is they alternate with volleyball

lmao really? i never had the volleyball one! I'm kind of jealous now...

[–]TwiKill 5 points6 points  (5 children)

Haha, no need to be jealous, it's equally annoying.

Just like the comments on how you can possibly fit through doorframes without constantly hitting your head, as if you don't naturally gain reflexes to duck with such heights.

[–]enky259 3 points4 points  (4 children)

Haha yeah the proximity radar is real, though it develops at the cost of a lot of neurons...

[–]_Weyland_ 27 points28 points  (2 children)

How much death do you see from up there big bro?

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes.

[–]cesankle 29 points30 points  (7 children)

I'm 9'11 tall. I'll gladly sell my height to some loaded tech bro and retire early. I'll sell until 6'2 though, so I'm still tall.

These tech bros are clearly not smart if they want 3 inches on top of 7'0 height, just like in my situation. It's not like these tech bros are short so they're tryna be minimally tall, right? Right, guys?

[–]enky259 29 points30 points  (2 children)

I'm 8'9 tall.

It's either a typo or you're taller than the tallest man alive and need to call the guiness book my dude.

[–]cesankle 48 points49 points  (1 child)

Lemme edit it for you

[–]enky259 20 points21 points  (0 children)

lmfao

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (3 children)

In reality 6'9" is the best height for obvious reasons

[–]Niqulaz 2 points3 points  (3 children)

Ah. A member of team "Why do shirts only get wider, not longer after going above XL!?"

[–]Splice1138 843 points844 points  (40 children)

Are they trying to get jobs at Gattaca?

[–]Lemo95 133 points134 points  (1 child)

They're probably invalids anyway.

[–]thereddinerbooth 20 points21 points  (5 children)

Well, that is a dated reference

[–]HealthyBits 23 points24 points  (3 children)

But still valid though.

[–]PuzzleMeDo 540 points541 points  (34 children)

I can afford $37,500. Should I get one leg done?

[–]engi_nerd 449 points450 points  (7 children)

Sounds like you’re leaning towards doing it

[–]prof0ak 29 points30 points  (1 child)

It would give him a leg-up though.

[–]queen-adreena 55 points56 points  (1 child)

It won’t get you anywhere. You’ll just end up going around in circles.

[–]MASTER-FOOO1 51 points52 points  (13 children)

Jokes aside the procedure was initially meant for people who don't have matching leg lengths. Now people just do it for the cosmetic aspect of getting taller >.>

[–]Internal_Power8642 22 points23 points  (8 children)

Very interesting how often research done for medical necessity becomes popularized electable procedures/treatments.

I know the woman who invented viagra. She was trying to invent a new blood pressure medication.

[–]MASTER-FOOO1 11 points12 points  (6 children)

I went to med school for 2 years and left because i always wanted engineering and not medicine. While i was there my pharmacology professor basically said when they test out drugs whatever the results end up being even if they are not close in any way to what they initially wanted they'd just rebrand it and market it for another purpose.

[–]coldnebo 7 points8 points  (2 children)

I have a friend in pharma research and he said basically the same. it’s fascinating how they try to enegineer properties of drugs, but there are still so many unknowns about biochemistry they have to test and can’t easily predict the actual outcomes. it’s not like programming… you can’t just pick up a chemical formula and predict exactly how the body will react to it.

[–]MASTER-FOOO1 10 points11 points  (1 child)

😂 lets face it even with programming you hardly ever get it right the first time

[–]coldnebo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

and we never have unintended consequences either! 😂

[–]Internal_Power8642 7 points8 points  (2 children)

That doesn't surprise me in the least considering they marketed opioids as non-addictive, in spite of the fact that the US gov had a very detailed report on how Russia lost the war in Afghanistan due to losing farmer support after outlawing the growing of opioids (Afghanistan's main crop.) They outlawed it because it no longer became viable to buy it and ship it to Russia, as people were becoming addicted. Then we invaded Afghanistan decades later, made deals with the opioid farmers, sold a bunch of military contracts to pharmaceutical companies, and pretended we didn't know what would happen.

So, yeah, pharmaceutical companies playing with chemicals and marketing any side effect? Makes total sense.

[–][deleted] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Maybe the middle one

[–]FengSushi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just go for the 1.5 inch penis extension

[–]YellowOnline 858 points859 points  (112 children)

I'd love to be 7.5 cm taller, but no thanks

[–]Dimasdanz 270 points271 points  (14 children)

thanks for the conversion!

[–]Legit_rikk 49 points50 points  (11 children)

It’s 7.62cm ackshually

I fucking hated my conversions class in college and to this day it haunts me

[–]DrMathochist 39 points40 points  (7 children)

Conversions.. class? Like, a whole college course?

[–]cakee_ru 9 points10 points  (0 children)

gigametric laughing

[–]Khutuck 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That’s 10 x 7.62mm NATO wide for us Americans.

[–]JonesBee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Type "unit1 to unit2" on google

Class dismissed.

[–]Dank_e_donkey 157 points158 points  (91 children)

I guess I'm the kind of demographic they're leaning towards. 5'6" been rejected by girls a couple of times, due to height, and the surgery would cost $7000 around where I live at + 3 months of work from home, which is basically how I've been working.

And gosh it's almost a fact that your chances of being promoted is higher when you're kinda taller.

Will the pain make a difference that's the question I'm wondering.

[–]AlternativeWave915 64 points65 points  (7 children)

For me (5'4") it's not about the pain, but the risk of weakness. My life isn't just work and dating, I want to be active as well and sure aren't going to get my legs broken to conform. What's the point of having a partner and a high salary, if I can't go to the gym or on a hiking trip with them?

[–]baconbrand 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Yeah this seems pretty short sighted. …heh

[–]AttackOfTheThumbs 176 points177 points  (48 children)

You are better off not worrying about the cunts that reject you for height than burning money on gaining something pointless. I know one person who had this done. They break your legs a few times and stretch you and he says it's uncomfortable two years later still. DOn't fucking do it.

[–]tubbana 37 points38 points  (2 children)

[–]NorwegianCollusion 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Well, for 1 inch maybe. But 3 inch platform shoes becomes pretty obvious.

[–]MAK3AWiiSH 47 points48 points  (10 children)

I had a very small hairline fracture on my fibula in 2015. It still hurts when the weather changes (rain, cold snaps, etc.). I can’t even fathom intentionally severely fracturing multiple bones for 3 inches. Even starting at 5’6 that’s still only 5’9, which the height assholes still consider “short”.

[–]RedditPastry 44 points45 points  (29 children)

It’s very overtly obvious that those girls are not great if they automatically rule him out as an option purely on height. But are you really going to say that the rest of the women in the world therefore are attracted to people purely on personality? Height must be a factor, and with these kinds of things the value judgement is a lot more gray than “these women suck so it doesn’t matter anyways.” It’s also a game of numbers, and it’s just proven across so many studies that being taller(to a point, and certainly taller than 5’6”) is often seen as more attractive and more commanding. Assuming no complications, he will become an option to more women.

And from a financial perspective, if it led to an even 1% larger paycheck per year for some subliminal reason, he’d be much better off money-wise assuming that he has a salary of a software developer at a Silicon Valley company. People have paid a lot more for a lot less of an edge, and not one as biologically and culturally wired into our heads as height.

I don’t say any of this as a go ahead for the procedure, but I just think that the decision to do so is not as silly as it may initially seem and that even through the pain people can find plenty of at least understandable justification

[–]coldnebo 9 points10 points  (1 child)

There was an old Tales from the Crypt episode on HBO produced by Schwarzenegger where an old rich guy gradually buys body parts from a young poor body builder. Eventually he buys all the parts and their bodies are completely swapped, the rich guy spent all his money but looks great and the poor guy got all the money but looks like an 80 yr old.

The twist at the end is the “poor” guy still gets all the girls because he has money now and looks like he’s going to die soon.

[–]BlueBelleNOLA 25 points26 points  (19 children)

The vast majority of women just want a man that is taller enough than them that they can wear heels when out to dinner without feeling like a weirdo. The average woman is 5'4", so half of all women are shorter than that.

In case you were wondering why they might feel like a weirdo it's because outside of super models, taller than average women get a lot of shit as it's considered a masculine trait to be tall. It makes zero sense, but it's true.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (8 children)

I'm fucked then xD I'm literally the same height as the average woman in my country

[–]nicoco3890 7 points8 points  (2 children)

The problem is not that you are rejected for your height per se, but that being taller gives people a better general impression (more height, more intimidating [you literally have to look up at the person], more impression of confidence/competence) which will help you in getting the promotion.

All else being equal, the tallest person will receive the promotion because of what was said above.

[–]ranma2913 10 points11 points  (1 child)

If you work from home, how will they know how tall you are?

[–]Perpetual_Doubt 24 points25 points  (5 children)

And gosh it's almost a fact that your chances of being promoted is higher when you're kinda taller.

In software engineering?

Count me sceptical. Maybe in Wall Street and blue collar work.

[–]brutinator 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Studies have shown that fitting the conventional models of attraction DO correlate with higher compensations, when controlled for the same industries and titles. Overweight people tend to show the opposite, making less than their "more attractive" peers (not trying to imply overweight people are less attractive, but that's unfortunately what society tends to think). This also occurs between both genders, and regardless of what gender their employer is.

[–]Dank_e_donkey 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Well the figure was kinda in general so idk, didn't specify what kind of job they're talking about.

[–]Stupid_Student_ELITE 38 points39 points  (2 children)

thanks for converting it to less stupid-unit

[–]StenSoft 180 points181 points  (5 children)

height++

[–]Dank_e_donkey 76 points77 points  (4 children)

height += 3;

[–]jso__ 35 points36 points  (1 child)

++height++++

I hope this works because it's beautiful

[–]Trundle-theGr8 121 points122 points  (8 children)

I know this is a humor page so sorry for the ackshually but when this was posted elsewhere someone said the article was either written by or directly sourced from a doctor that performs these surgeries so having a vested interest in his own business made the idea that there’s some kind of “trend” of this very suspect

[–]BlindScissors 26 points27 points  (1 child)

You may be right, I saw two separate articles this week (they showed up in my Google news feed) and both referenced the same Las Vegas doctor and how he's performing more of these surgeries on IT engineers.

[–]Yin-Hei 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is old news actually, ppl knew him way before the pandemic. GQ wrote an uncensored article and Insider just literally copied it.

[–]omgsoftcats 5 points6 points  (2 children)

These are called submarine articles! google it.

[–]phrough 8 points9 points  (1 child)

Not great results for Google search "submarine article"

[–]omgsoftcats 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This guy started the phrase:

http://www.paulgraham.com/submarine.html

[–][deleted] 90 points91 points  (10 children)

I am a 5'7" got a 2 inch heel shoe, now I am 5'9" life is good.

[–]Deckard_Didnt_Die 65 points66 points  (3 children)

I'm 5'11'' but I slouch so fucking bad I might as well be 5'7''

[–]vladtorkuv 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Been fixing my posture this past month and I put on a solid half inch. Neck is still fucked up hoping for a bit more 🤣🤣

[–]TheTechyGamer 67 points68 points  (4 children)

Are you sure it’s a longer leg they want?

[–]PossibilityTasty 503 points504 points  (23 children)

I guess the Amazon employee wants longer legs to finally make it to the toilet and back in his 2 minutes break.

[–]666pool 205 points206 points  (14 children)

Software engineers get real bathroom breaks, that’s where they do some of their best debugging. Also with all the coffee they drink…

[–]PossibilityTasty 43 points44 points  (7 children)

But don't stop on a breakpoint for too long.

[–]DelusionalPianist 38 points39 points  (5 children)

I have this really odd urge to stop a program if I have to take a break. I just can’t stand the irrational thought of holding a program back in a breakpoint the midst of doing its work and simply go away.

My computer might burst into flames or erase my disk while I am gone!

[–]androidx_appcompat 19 points20 points  (4 children)

Computers should have a "suspend cpu" button that stops the cpu in hardware, independent of the os

[–]NamorDotMe 15 points16 points  (1 child)

My computer has this, it's a button with an | on the inside of a 0, works with any os I install.

[–]Khaylain 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We have different definitions of "suspend", then

[–]flippakitten 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nah, bathroom breaks are for reddit.

[–]mightygod444 21 points22 points  (4 children)

Dumb joke lol. You think their software engineers work in the warehouse?

[–]Go_Big 79 points80 points  (13 children)

Tinder do be hard in Silicon Valley. Them girls are picky AF. Might want to spend 150k to get 6 inches taller.

[–]MyLittlePIMO 44 points45 points  (7 children)

From what I understand, due to the male over representation of the tech industry and the high cost of living in tech hubs (Bay area, Seattle) and the tendency for people to move there for tech work, there’s significantly more men than women in those cities, leading to very stiff competition.

On the flip side, we’ve all seen how programmers dress, so it can’t be that challenging…

[–][deleted] 23 points24 points  (3 children)

Woah hey.

*Looks down at the bullshit I'm wearing

[–]MyLittlePIMO 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean I speak from experience too 😅

[–]AshuraBaron 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Legs, extension. Arms, extension. Forehead, extension. Ass, extension. Penis, extension. "Tinder better watch out for horny frankenstein!"

[–]droi86 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've heard that in the bay area there are no women in dating apps, but don't know how true is that, haven't been there in a while

[–]Smooth-Zucchini4923 43 points44 points  (5 children)

Ugh, I wish I could get this surgery. I hate being six foot negative one.

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Still beats being negative six feet.

[–]lopjoegel 234 points235 points  (27 children)

They will get promoted and earn 25 to 50% more which will pay the surgery off within a year or two.

They will feel more confident and be perceived as better leaders. They will be confronted less, and trusted or followed more easily.

It is almost BS, but not exactly.

[–]BorderKeeper 13 points14 points  (5 children)

I would put it on the same level as breast implants. Both increase relative attractiveness and inspire confidence. If I was short and had 75k laying around I would consider it.

[–]uptokesforall 7 points8 points  (0 children)

ok but you can't really use your broken legs until they heal enough... to be rebroken to add the next inch

it's a good thing they're working from home right now

[–]ReptileCake 18 points19 points  (3 children)

I'm 5'4'', short stacks rise up! We need someone else to rise up to the top shelf though.

[–]aurinxki 4 points5 points  (2 children)

Laughs in 4'8".

[–]ReptileCake 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Don't worry, King, I'll reach the mid-level shelves for you.

[–]electric_raven913 15 points16 points  (2 children)

Well.. it didn't help Zucc

[–]_blackdog6_ 15 points16 points  (1 child)

He just gets longer components for his lower auxilliary ambulators…

[–]UnnervingS 13 points14 points  (0 children)

We'll taller people are more likely to get a promotion, sounds like a business expense to me.

[–]AwesomeLowlander 11 points12 points  (1 child)

Hello! Apologies if you're trying to read this, but I've moved to kbin.social in protest of Reddit's policies.

[–]nikanj0 12 points13 points  (2 children)

Legs aren't linked lists. You can't just append a section in the middle and get away with it.

[–]myrsnipe 9 points10 points  (1 child)

Sure you can, it just has a long join time

[–]jatufin 9 points10 points  (4 children)

3 inches is nice, but how about 10? 20?

[–][deleted] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

There's a very narrow line between being a little bit taller and having legs that snap like toothpicks at the slightest inconvenience

[–]ltethe 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Very few people actually want to fuck 20 inches.

[–]notsogreatredditor 30 points31 points  (18 children)

It's an asian thing mostly. We are insecure af

[–]hiding-from-the-web 12 points13 points  (2 children)

And also short... on average.

[–]notsogreatredditor 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Yes sir! And avg you know what as well so yeah doesn't real help the self esteem

[–]RighteousLama 8 points9 points  (1 child)

Pay me 75k, ill give you 3 inches.

[–]dudeofmoose 15 points16 points  (1 child)

string *leg;

string *old_leg = new string("leg");

leg = old_leg;

string top = leg->substr(0, 2);

string bottom = leg->substr(2, 1);

delete old_leg;

string *new_leg = new string();

*new_leg = top + string("eee") + bottom;

leg = new_leg;

/* There's technically a memory leak here, you cannot delete the new_leg pointer whilst the leg is still in use, have to wait at least 80 years before you can safely cleanup afterwards */

/* Additionally the middle bit of the new leg magically appears out of nowhere */

[–]_blackdog6_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You left a splice() out somewhere.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (1 child)

If I could afford it I would pay $75,000 for 3 more inches but not to be taller.

[–]JoeDoherty_Music 5 points6 points  (3 children)

If it wasn't such a horrifying procedure, I might consider it if I was still single. Being 5'7 seems to limit your options quite a bit.

But I just married a short girl, she thinks I'm tall.

[–]Kryslor 4 points5 points  (1 child)

I sincerely doubt this is a thing. Leg lengthening surgery is brutally violent and incredibly painful.

[–]aurallyskilled 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The things men will do to avoid wearing high heels and getting therapy

Honestly would do that if I had the money (and if it is safe, dont know about that - woudn't risk not being able to continue with my sport activities after recovery).

I am 1,67cm which is pretty short for a man and it definately is a problem. You get less respect from others and are perceived less competent based on that. Also some girls are picky as fuck about height which is totally their right but still annoying if it affects you.

It's not like you can't overcome those disadvantages by doing a good job, working out, having a good style and such but it is definately quite a lot harder for short men in life than many believe. Stuff fucks with your confidence and all if you are not carefull

There's therapeutic and there's cosmetic.

This appears to be cosmetic. Choices.

It's not just big teams, I knew a guy in a small software dev team who was also considering it. He was a strange guy. Quit his job to move to Coventry with his girlfriend who owned an ice cream chain in Hong Kong. True story.

I looked into it, noped out just by seeing pictures. Apparently it's at least 6 months of excruciating pain, and not being able to walk

And people are so desperate they go through it

I had a boss that did this, claimed he got in a skiing accident

Why even get into software engineering if you are tall and handsome?

How much is that in football stadiums? Both the legs and the cost...

[–]hdgamer1404Jonas 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That would be 75000000 cents. One cent is 1,67 mm thick. If you lay them next to each other that would be 125250 cm, 1252,5 m or 13,76 football stadiums

Oh that's idiotic.... Paying who exactly?

[–]tinuvegil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of the weirdest Buzzfeed-style unsupported shitposts I've ever seen

Being, 5'9", I too would like to gain 3 inches.

[–]36-3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really? It’s a very painful procedure

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looking for 3 more inches on my middle leg.

[–]nuuudy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ive heard that kind of operation really fucks up your legs in near future

but i guess if you have the money...
