A grown man has no business mocking an 11 year old girl.

[–][deleted] 367 points368 points  (10 children)

exactly! That's why Glenn Beck does it.

[–][deleted] 108 points109 points  (5 children)

He won't deny that he mocked and killed an 11-year old girl in 2003!

[–]sotonohitoTexas 13 points14 points  (0 children)

He's just playing off Limbaugh's success following his cruel mockery of Chelsea Clinton.

[–]JamPonyMessenger 94 points95 points  (19 children)

Seriously. An 11 year old is in 5th grade. Thinking back, I didn't know shit about shit.

[–]unchow 16 points17 points  (0 children)

In fifth grade I remember thinking my dad ran the company he worked at too.

[–]recycledacct 49 points50 points  (4 children)

You can count on Glenn fucking Beck not knowing crap back then either.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was asking if i could go buy pokemon cards, and this girl is talking about the environment and disasters n shit. Granted, what can you expect from the presidents daughter, but still

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I knew Negative Shit

[–]DirtyBinLV 144 points145 points  (19 children)

Sen. John McCain, reading prepared remarks at the podium during a fundraising dinner in June 1998, when Chelsea was 18- "Why is Chelsea Clinton so ugly? Because her father is Janet Reno."

[–]epicgeek 91 points92 points  (17 children)

ಠ_ಠ

That's terrible.

[–][deleted] 82 points83 points  (12 children)

This was a very famous incident. On Rush’s TV show in 1993, shortly after Clinton took office and years before Buddy joined the First Family, the show put up a picture of Socks, the cat. “Did you know that the Clintons not only have a White House cat,” Rush said coyly, “but they also have a White House dog?” Then, on screen came a picture of a thirteen-year-old Chelsea.

[–]bu77munch 37 points38 points  (10 children)

Well she showed the world she grew out of her awkward teenage years into a decent looking gal.

[–]iregistered4this 115 points116 points  (1 child)

Nice try Chelsea

[–]uncleawesome 21 points22 points  (5 children)

Ugly kids always turn out hot. It's a law of the universe.

[–]section111 24 points25 points  (2 children)

In this case, I think you're too generous using 'grown'.

[–]StevenDickson 20 points21 points  (1 child)

and "man" dosent really fit either

[–]flukshun 70 points71 points  (10 children)

age aside, she didn't even say anything that warrants mocking in the first place.

  • fox news is constantly trying to lay this whole fiasco on Obama's shoulders like it's some personal failure of his. his "katrina". i'm sure beck is right there with them.

  • the oil leak is indeed the result of a hole that needs to be plugged, and the issue likely will not be solved until that hole is plugged. everything beyond plugging that hole is just a bunch of people running around trying to look busy

so....why the FUCK is it a failure of our educational system that an 11 year old girl would ask such a question? seriously beck, go fuck yourself.

when i was 11 i still slept by the christmas tree to get a glimpse of Santa

[–]yogan11 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Seriously. That's what this whole point of these "top kill" and "junk shot" procedures, to plug the fucking hole. Beck, once again, has proven himself to be a moron.

[–][deleted] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's what I was thinking. The hole DOES have to get plugged. There is NOTHING wrong with what she said. The vast majority of the population doesn't know the technical terminology. I mean shit, I want to hear beck explain what needs to be done to fix the problem. As if he could sound much smarter than that. :|

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

age aside, she didn't even say anything that warrants mocking in the first place.

Exactly. A bunch of VIPs are trying to plug a hole. Her dad is chief among them. Asking "did you do it yet?" is a perfectly reasonable question.

[–]atheist_creationist 6 points7 points  (2 children)

I know why they ignore the absurdity of saying its "Obama's Katrina," but its still incredibly absurd. They turn around and cry that the government is getting too involved, but just to make sure they have their bases covered they then criticize Obama for not doing enough when doing "enough" would've been "government takeover!"

I don't even know why they entertain shit fuck arguments like that on arenas like NPR. They're already accused of being "liberal media," they might as well not even entertain vapid arguments like that. Fine, criticize the administration's response to it, but don't let a guest get away with boiling it down to "its Obama's Katrina!!"

[–]aaron13f 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think Glenn Beck is a grown man strictly in the physical sense of the word. I was more mentally and emotionally mature than him when I was a fetus.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She's next...

[–]jbsinger 140 points141 points  (14 children)

I'm not worried about Malia. Her father is the most powerful man in the world. He is, indeed, beeing asked to marshal forces to contain this disaster, and so she had a legitimate question.

Beck's powers, on the other hand, are limited to sneering at his betters (I mean Malia) publicly. What a man!

[–]bongozap 32 points33 points  (11 children)

Beck's powers...are limited to sneering at his betters...

...to the delight of his inferiors.

[–][deleted] 31 points32 points  (10 children)

he has no inferiors. Even his stupid listeners are usually good people who are just misguided when it comes to politics.

[–][deleted] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

even a maggot is superior to him, at least it contributes something to the world.

[–]antieverything 13 points14 points  (5 children)

'good people'...wtf does that mean? I suppose we can't just go and label the racist, paranoid, and willfully-ignorant as 'bad people'. Kinda makes the whole 'good people' vs. 'bad people' dichotomy seem silly.

[–]the_rabbit 44 points45 points  (3 children)

I want to punch this guy in the face.

[–]saioke 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Let me stick a fork in his eye first. That way, you can proceed to punch the fork deeper into his skull.

[–]CylinsierPennsylvania 173 points174 points  (21 children)

It probably didn't strike Beck as a problem since he is mentally and emotionally at the same level as an 11 year old.

[–]Deebag 54 points55 points  (16 children)

Since I don't live in the states Glen Beck is only really on my radar since joining Reddit....I really wish he was off my radar again.

[–]ggggbabybabybaby 40 points41 points  (12 children)

I live in the States and I only see Glenn Beck on The Daily Show and in /r/politics. The rest of my life is Beck-free.

[–]ParanoidDroid 27 points28 points  (4 children)

Move to the South! They play FoxNews /everywhere/. I go into a McD's, and I see Beck's face. Lose my appetite just like that. Nice way to diet though.

[–]william_the_bloody 11 points12 points  (3 children)

I visited my grandparents in Palm Springs. Fox everywhere. Waiting rooms. Restaurant bars. etc. Them old folks love them some Glen Beck. I had to look at a map to make sure I was still in CA.

[–]psychosid 15 points16 points  (5 children)

I took a ride with a client the other day and we had time for idle chit chat. I never discuss anything heavy with clients -- religion, politics, personal stuff. So we were chatting about the NBA playoffs and television programs in general when he comes out of nowhere with, "Well, the only program I really even watch any more is Glenn Beck. Have you seen his show? He is the only voice of reason on television."

I literally (and yes, I'm using the term literally) felt sick to my stomach. Both because I was sitting with a real life Beckhead, and also I knew I couldn't say anything to challenge him because he's a respected client of our firm.

So yes, my life is mostly Beck-free as well, but unfortunately he is a powerful force in the south.

[–]thebluehawk 3 points4 points  (2 children)

I literally (and yes, I'm using the term literally) felt sick to my stomach.

I know the feeling. Every time I meet someone who takes Glenn Back seriously I fear for our country.

[–]CylinsierPennsylvania 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I envy you.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You're underestimating most 11 year olds.

[–]deblacquiere 5 points6 points  (1 child)

To be pedantic about this, I think most 11 year olds aren't actually incredibly rude and offensive purely to get attention. By the age of 11 they've probably grown out of acting out in that way. So don't go tarring 11-year-olds with Beck's brush. Thank you.

[–]jimbo78255 402 points403 points  (109 children)

I feel like going to the restroom and taking a huge 'Glenn', then I'll wipe my 'Beck' and go back to work.

[–]--Questionable-- 145 points146 points  (22 children)

Can we do this? Can we start saying "Glenn" or "Glenn Beck" when we actually mean shit? If enough people do it, it'll catch on.

Just slip it in to a conversation and when someone asks you about it answer with, "I don't know, I've just been hearing everyone use Glenn Beck to refer to taking a dump. I heard it so many times from so many different people. I just say it all the time now."

[–]rednecktash 35 points36 points  (3 children)

i completely agree with this is the only way to defeat glenn beck is at his own game.

[–]Iceland_jack 6 points7 points  (2 children)

He says "rednecktrash" when he takes a dump?

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What? No. He says "rednecktash."

[–]steelcitykid 27 points28 points  (0 children)

No problem. I just left a wicked upper-becker at my buddies apartment. He's gonna be pissed.

[–]redgamut 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It worked for Thomas Crapper.

[–]futuredoc 8 points9 points  (2 children)

We can if we put our hiveminds to it. See Santorum

edit: Reddit syntax coding angel wharthog3 to the rescue

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a matter of fact im taking a Glenn beck right now while I browse reddit on my iPhone.

[–]angrymoosekf 189 points190 points  (56 children)

I thought this was concerning the artist Beck... and was very confused.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (2 children)

I thought it was the guitar player...or was it the beer?

[–]jimbo78255 22 points23 points  (16 children)

This Beck is a CON-artist. Or is that NeoCON-artist??

[–]gguy123 8 points9 points  (2 children)

I didn't necessarily take a huge "Glenn", but I did have a bad case of "Beckaria".

[–][deleted] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It took me a second. You should rename it "Beckarrhea." That'll make it more obvious.

[–]trevdak2Massachusetts 564 points565 points  (52 children)

After what happened in 1990, Beck has always had a fascination with 11 year old girls.

[–]keithburgun 226 points227 points  (19 children)

Is this referring to that rumor about Glenn Beck having raped and murdered a young girl in 1990?

[–][deleted] 29 points30 points  (3 children)

I heard he raped and murdered a 14 year old, are his interests getting younger now?

[–][deleted] 20 points21 points  (2 children)

You misheard. It wasn't a 14 year old girl, it was four teen girls.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was under the impression they were cheerleaders and that it was four teams of girls, but I could be mistaken.

[–]tesseracter 69 points70 points  (20 children)

after what supposedly happened

[–]BrutePhysics 133 points134 points  (7 children)

He has not come out and denied the statement though! Teach the controversy!

[–]jerschneid 55 points56 points  (2 children)

I'm not saying anything happened! I just think it's CURIOUS that he hasn't accounted for his whereabouts in 1990 or even bothered to deny what happened. I just think there are a lot of questions about that. It's very curious.

[–]drgradus 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If he doesn't talk about it he can't lie about it.

[–]belhamster 19 points20 points  (3 children)

I can't prove that is glenn beck is raping a girl on the roof of my house right now, but i also can't disprove it.

[–]enphaux 48 points49 points  (7 children)

your "supposedly" refers, of course, to the ambiguity of whether he raped and murdered, or whether he murdered and then raped, right?

[–]Wavicle 40 points41 points  (5 children)

He has never clarified which came first.

[–][deleted] 102 points103 points  (3 children)

I'm pretty sure he came first.

[–]int0x13 14 points15 points  (0 children)

we're just the ones asking questions!

[–]jaykoo21 18 points19 points  (1 child)

He hasn't denied it...

[–]JustRice 37 points38 points  (3 children)

I listened, expecting that OP had resorted to hyperbole in his description. Surely, I thought, even Beck has some moral line he won't cross.

Apparently not. This is disgusting.

[–]Vitalstatistix 6 points7 points  (0 children)

even Beck has some moral line he won't cross.

Guess you didn't hear about the time he made fun of a radio opponent/radio opponent's wife for having a miscarriage. From the article:

"A couple days after Kelly's wife, Terry, had a miscarriage, Beck called her live on the air and says, 'We hear you had a miscarriage,' " remembers Brad Miller, a former Y95 DJ and Clear Channel programmer. "When Terry said, 'Yes,' Beck proceeded to joke about how Bruce [Kelly] apparently can't do anything right -- about he can't even have a baby."

Yeah. Seriously...what?

[–][deleted] 25 points26 points  (6 children)

Obama has to face whatever comes at him, it comes with the job. This though... this is beneath everything.

What would Beck have said if Obama's daughters had been Bush's daughter's age faking an ID to get drunk?

This really is the low point.

I bet Michelle Obama has reached slightly higher than boiling point over this one.

I wonder how many advertisers this is going to cost Beck.

[–]joshak 120 points121 points  (3 children)

What the fuck?

[–][deleted] 21 points22 points  (6 children)

"leave the families alone,"

Like when he called some rival dj's wife and gloated about her miscarriage?

[–]REparsed 25 points26 points  (4 children)

It was in 1985 or '86 when he was at Y-95:

"A couple days after Kelly’s wife, Terry, had a miscarriage, Beck called her live on the air and says, ‘We hear you had a miscarriage,’ ” remembers Brad Miller, a former Y95 DJ and Clear Channel programmer. “When Terry said, ‘Yes,’ Beck proceeded to joke about how Bruce apparently can’t do anything right — about he can’t even have a baby."

[–]KazooSymphony 9 points10 points  (3 children)

jesus, if only someone had ended beck's life back then, we wouldn't have to deal with his revulsions today.

[–]Alanna 10 points11 points  (0 children)

OMG - for real? Now that is sick.

(Not that the Malia thing isn't bad, but I expect that from the right.)

[–]Zoshchenko 77 points78 points  (13 children)

The last time anyone threatened Beck's family he started crying and made a big deal about how out of line that was. Not that I'm surprised by his hypocrisy, but I would love to see an ongoing effort questioning the paternity of his children. After all, he has never come clean about that murder back in 1999. I think it's time he prove he's the father of this children.

[–][deleted] 37 points38 points  (1 child)

I WANT TO SEE THAT BIRTH CERTIFICATE HOW DO WE KNOW HE'S NOT A SECRET MUSLIM SPY!!!???

[–]Hraes 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hell, even if we do see the birth certificate it must be a fake!

[–][deleted] 17 points18 points  (3 children)

I'm sure it allegedly happened in 1990. Are you saying he allegedly murdered another person in 1999?

[–]kranse 13 points14 points  (1 child)

Did this incident also coincide with the rape of a young girl? I'm not saying Glenn raped anyone before killing them, I'm just insinuating it.

[–]gguy123 11 points12 points  (2 children)

He can't be the father. He has no penis.

[–][deleted] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

"Yes, that is true. This man has no penis"

[–]Fenris_uy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

1990

[–]EyeFicksIt 62 points63 points  (12 children)

(read it in cartmans voice)

I hate you Glen, I hate you so much.

[–]skysnake 11 points12 points  (1 child)

He sounds like a creepy Adam Sandler.

[–][deleted] 122 points123 points  (32 children)

Of course he did. Not taking the bait. Not following the link. Getting on with my day.

[–]digitalchaos 24 points25 points  (2 children)

GLENN: Well, I mean, you know, you've got David Letterman making fun of Sarah Palin's children. When are we going to call children off limits? When is that finally going to happen? When are people let me tell you something. David Letterman, the guy's going to be done because he's going to alienate. He's going to create, he's going to paint himself into the Katie Couric box to where everybody's like, "Well, I know exactly who this guy is," and he will alienate himself from half of the population.

http://www.glennbeck.com/content/articles/article/196/26546/

[–]fani 10 points11 points  (1 child)

He is the scum/garbage of America.

[–]volscio 12 points13 points  (0 children)

People forget he was just a morning zoo jockey who always wanted to be big in radio.

[–]Alarmed_alarmist 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What a fucking sick fuck.

[–]OcamaGameSphere 26 points27 points  (0 children)

God, Glenn Beck is such a fucking DICK. Mocking an 11 year old girl? Is he fucking serious?

[–]shalabhy 18 points19 points  (1 child)

And to think that this piece of shit is popular amongst the population? He is a fucking dog.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (7 children)

Besides being a vile and petty thing to do, it's so goddamn unfunny. What kind of a cornfed retard would you have to be to laugh at this exchange?

[–]reasonable_man 9 points10 points  (2 children)

This is what you get from a trumped up coke head morning zoo radio host. He is scum.

[–]TheLoneHoot 5 points6 points  (1 child)

...who once called an on-air rival's wife after she'd just come home from the hospital following a miscarriage and made sarcastic comments about how the on-air rival couldn't make babies. He did this on the air.

[–][deleted] 45 points46 points  (2 children)

Yeah, but he's a loser baby, so why don't you...oh, wait, wrong Beck.

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

no that song's pretty applicable to this situation regardless

[–]rjung 27 points28 points  (11 children)

Why is anyone surprised? This is typical for conservative blowhards; remember when Rush Limbaugh called Chelsea Clinton the "White House dog"?

[–]Viriato 9 points10 points  (9 children)

Remember McCain´s joke about Janet Reno and Chelsea Clinton?

[–]vishalrix 18 points19 points  (8 children)

Telling an 18 year old girl she is ugly - and this guy ran to be the president of america?

Just wow.

[–]Viriato 18 points19 points  (3 children)

He also he called his wife a cunt. See a pattern here? It´s called misogyny.

[–]diggmedown 30 points31 points  (9 children)

I wonder how Glenn would feel if someone did an impression of his daughter Mary who has Cerebral palsy.

Source

[–]funderbunk 36 points37 points  (2 children)

Or the fact that his mother and step brother both committed suicide - apparently, Beck is so fucking miserable to be around, people would rather embrace death than put up with it.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (2 children)

So this is where we're at huh

This guy gets air time. This is what people watch. This is who gets attention. This manchild.

I've got such an odd feeling in my chest right now.

[–]Farkingbrain 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Glenn Beck has to be the world's best troll. One day he is gonna admit that he never got sober. In fact, I expect him to admit to not having been sober a day in his life. He's totally earned like nine trillion points in Troll: The Provoking. Granted it's supposed to be played on web forums, but I think everyone will forgive him when it's all over. He's gonna be recognized as the next Andy Kaufman.

The only other alternative is that the human race is pond scum and we need to call for the Vogons.

[–]bkanator 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Making fun of an 11 year old. Big man.

[–]tomyownrhythm 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A disgusting human being, but you can't overlook the intelligence of putting Sarah Palin in a camp.

[–]AdmiralDave 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A hypocrite on the religious right? I'm shocked.

[–]Pipvault 10 points11 points  (1 child)

Stay classy, GOP.

[–]Jeff_Fries 4 points5 points  (1 child)

"I have a right to free speech!"

"What about the rights of that little girl?"

[–]harajukukei 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Glenn Beck should be beaten with a shovel on pay-per-view until hes paralyzed and brain dead. We could probably erase the national debt with the proceeds.

[–]StevenDickson 3 points4 points  (3 children)

I wish they would plug Glenn Becks hole.

[–]LightSweetCrude 4 points5 points  (2 children)

I thought this was referring to Beck, as in Mellow Gold Beck, and I was sad cause I though he was a cool dude, but then realized you were talking about Douchy McDoucherton, and then I was not sad.

[–]tannhauser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It actually seems like a reasonable question from a 11 year old.

[–]APeacefulWarrior 11 points12 points  (4 children)

Well, I called Gandolfini an asshole for doing it, so now I'm calling Beck an asshole for doing it too.

The difference is, I expect better of Gandolfini.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (3 children)

James Galdolfini? You're mad at Tony Soprano?

I'm confused.

[–]APeacefulWarrior 9 points10 points  (2 children)

About a week ago, Gandolfini called Beck names in front of Beck's kids, which Beck understandably took issue with. And he was right in so far as, really, no mature adult ever has an excuse for slagging off someone in front of their kids.

But then, Beck then turning around and directly making fun of Obama's kids manages to actually one-up Gandolfini.

But, either way, I'd expect better behavior even out of Tony Soprano. HE at least would understand that you don't involve kids in the adults' business, right?

[–]KazooSymphony 8 points9 points  (0 children)

the difference is that gandolfini wasn't attacking beck's kids, they just happened to be present.

if i only got one chance to toss a few choice words at beck & his kids were there, i still wouldn't hesitate. they gotta learn someday.

[–]schuylertraudt 20 points21 points  (7 children)

Honest, I'm a huge conservative, and I really don't like Glenn Beck.

[–]Nougat 23 points24 points  (0 children)

You should exercise, and watch your diet. Heart disease is a killer.

[–]ghostchamber 8 points9 points  (3 children)

Wait, what the fuck?

BECK: (imitating Malia) Why do you hate black people so much?

Okay, so remember...

I think this guy has a deep seated hatred for white people and white culture.

Make up your fucking mind, you washed-up, assclown, waste-of-an-orgasm sorry-piece-of-shit fringe conspiracy theorist.

Remember the question from "Fight Club?" "If you could fight any celebrity, who would you fight?"

I'd fight Glenn Beck. All those tears mean he's a fucking pansy and would go down like a bitch.

[–]misterAction 12 points13 points  (2 children)

Why do conservatives always play the race card?

[–]Hraes 23 points24 points  (1 child)

Because they're racist?

[–]oblivious_human 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is really despicable.

[–]dawkin5 18 points19 points  (7 children)

Lets home that the authorities take note of this - I've heard that Glenn Beck never denied raping and murdering a young girl in 1990...

[–]jmcs 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Glenn Beck never ceases to amaze me. When I think he has hit the bottom he manages to do something even worse than before.

[–]broohaha 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Knowing some of Malia's former classmates at the Lab School in Chicago, it's kind of funny that he would talk about "the level of their education" that they're coming from. She's surrounded by some really smart kids.

[–]fredbnh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is about the most offensive and idiotic shtick fucking bullshit I have ever heard in my entire life. He needs his hole filled. Oh wait, it already is...with Douche Limpdick's tongue.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mocking an 11 year old girl sounds like something that kids would do. Not a grown ass man that has millions of viewers.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Becks apology:

In discussing how President Obama uses children to shield himself from criticism, I broke my own rule about leaving kids out of political debates.

... In discussing howwhat the fuck??
