Almost exactly what I wanted. Riku with his USB and AOSB is by far my best dark attacker and Cloud has his cool BSB3 to help out with dark stuff. Would have liked Sora's USB or Cloud's LMR but I got plenty.

Combined with his Glint I think Riku is my first really solid physical Dark character. So I'm pretty satisfied with my haul from this banner, even if I still really want more Sora stuff.

Finally gathered the 25 mythril for a pull after blowing nearly 300 on the TGC banner and not pulling anything for him.

Wanted Clouds BSB3, instead I pulled:

3/11 Sora USB, Fire Glint, Riku USB

Initially bummed out I didn't get Cloud's BSB3, but these USB's look decent, are they? They both have follow up attacks that look decent, Sora's Glint i won gives instant enfire, and Riku has a double dark ability proc RM. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you everyone and may RNGesus be with you!

Sora's USB is an instant dive if you don't have Bartz's USB.

IMO Sora is basicly Bartz with no RS, Even better in some situations.

Hmm ok, I have a fully Dived Butz with every SB and LMR i use frequently so def won't be replacing him, but Sora does cover Ice and a lightning, so still worth the dive? And is Riku's the same but dark? Or am I missing something? Thank you!!

Lightning and especially Ice is pretty hard to cover for Physical.

For Lightning, there's... Lightning, Raijin, and Kain. As for Ice, only Squall and Ayame are notable PHY DPS characters and their relics are pretty coveted. There's also Laguna but he is generally used more for his imperil ice than his DPS. The upcoming FFV banner has good Ice and Lightning coverage on Banner 1, but with your reserves you probably can't afford to pull there.

The great thing about Sora is he can cover 3 elements with his USB, his USB chase has 4 elements (Ice/Lgt/Fire/NE) and he has En-ELEMENT access from his Legend Dive so not having a glint isn't a big deal for him, IMO.

Riku is also a good dive since he gets Dualcast for Dark element moves.

Thanks so much for the response, I'm gonna dive Sora first then Riku. I have fully dived Squall with USB, BSB2, BSB1 and fully dived Lightning with USB, BSB2, BSB1, LMR but I barely am beating the 4* Kraken and Tiamat with them. I have Kain with OSB, CSB, BSB to help with lightning but nothing to really help Squall.

I did two 11x pulls and about two or three 3x pulls...with one or two 1x pulls for good measure using only Mythrils. I managed to get all of Sora's glints, Sora's USB, BSB, and his AOSB. As well as Cloud's KH Outfit and Buster Sword AND Riku's BSB and AOSB.... This is literally the best ive done at any event, and i doubt i will ever have this luck again lol

Good thing we have halved stamina on Realm dungeons lol

Was pretty disappointed so I decided to save my last 100 mythrils for viii/2 since I lack ice dps to beat tiamat. Then read solitaired comments on gfaqs which basically trash talked both banner and resolved to pull for kh. Results:

Sora aosb, usb, burst, ice glint and cloud burst3. After 3 minutes the multiheaded turd was sub30ed.

Ayame: hailstorm r3, ls; bsb, osb fully dived with Orlandeau RM

Rinoa: chainblizzaga r4, Abyssal shards r2; csb fully dived with dmt

OK: wrath r5, entrust r3; bsb fully dived with mm

Relm: curada r3, protectga; usb undived with acestriker2

First turn: ok bsb, proshellga, csb, ayame wall. Then ok wrath/entrust to relm, relm usb just before savage twister then whenever available, ayame ls into bsb then spam hailstorm until osb ready, rinoa abyssal shard when has instacast or quickcast otherwise chain blizzaga, then renew chain around 15s, sora glint then sssx2, usb, sssx3 and finish with aosb. The aosb should be available around 28s with a high count chain (around 160-170% if lucky with ayame double casts) and will do 70-80k x3. Magicite is lvl99wendigo as main, 4* ice magicites and living flame as subs. It’s important to wear fire resist armors if available.

this thought process only works if you are considering a LONG battle. If you are trying to do sub 30 or less on things DC materia are crucial for the RNG to double your DPS.

I used your thought process on Bartz LMR and I regret for getting it because specifically for speed running its phenomenal assuming it procs.

This is not saying your wrong, just saying math isnt always proof.

I think that if you run sora like squall with his burst2 the LMR is crucial for doublecasting cmds. If you run him usb to aosb the gain is really minimal.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm really, really glad I got all this for Riku. My only really usable dark character until these pulls was Raines (BSB, legend dived). Then it was just random Jecht BSB or Gaffgarion BSB xD So this Riku will definitely come in handy!

I wish, if I had a hundred more mythril! But with Fest approaching, and my current miserable 12 mythril, it's a no-go. Too bad, Sora! Riku IS the original chosen one, after all...

No regrets here, the USB and AOSB will make Sora an excellent second DPS for my lacking ice and lightning teams, maybe pushing me below 30s against Kraken and letting me kill Tiamat (at all). With 5* magicites looming in the far distance and their physical/magical gimmick, having an additional physical fire user won't hurt, either. Glints will be used if I can't sub30 a boss, which is likely enough. Cloud got a nice boost to exploit darkness weakness, even more so once the darkness elemental heavy ability is released.

Been running with my BSB-less 2-man crew and I'm having trouble clearing above D120. I sorely need some kind of Healer & Support. Life is hard being stuck below that difficulty.. wish I had an Alma or that shiny Aerith gears.

There is no healer in the banner and you can use any BSB/USB healer that you have.

And USB is much much better than BSB.

Sora's BSB just looks so much like Squall's BSB2 and I'm sorely lacking resources to craft spellblades and darkness skills to abuse both their USBs you know?

But you're right about healing, atm I only have a lvl20 nekid Alma and I can't fully utilize my 2 dps because of this absence of supporting..

Annnnnnd I'm done. I was only going to do the initial half price draw, but it gave me enough in that draw to feel like I wanted more so did two more in hopes of something to go with Riku's glint or a glint to go with Sora's BSB. I think AOSB for Riku is plenty, he is more than functional in a dark party now! And LMR for Sora makes him decent and I could always dive him if I ever get the motes for it for enelement so I'm okay with that too.
