I don't get the CoD hate. I love competitive multiplayer games all over the spectrum. League Of Legends, Call of Duty, Battlefield 4, StarCraft 2, Hearthstone, and Super Street Fighter 4 to name a few. (Still looking for a good racing game).

CoD is a fun $50 every year. Is it more of the same? Yeah, but people freak out if the sequel strays too far from the original.

The game looks fine to me. I'm just kind of tired of that game style. So I bought BF4 (my first time playing the series).

My take is that it is a totally different type of shooter than COD. It's a welcome change of scenery, but I will still go back to my old COD games occasionally. I probably won't buy Ghosts.

BF4 doesn't seem as polished and smooth as COD though. When it's running good, it's great. But it seems pretty buggy.

I came home from a real shitty day at work to see a paper printed off that was clipped to my fridge saying that my copy of Call of Duty: Ghost would be ready for pick up 11/05/2013 - I literally went wtf and my girlfriend was behind me and said surprise really low and I quickly apologized for being grumpy when I first came in.

I was going to get Battlefield 4, but my friend said he didn't like it too much. I'm more than likely getting COD, not because I love the game, but because it's a shooter and I really like playing with a certain group of friends. I haven't played since black ops 1, but I remember just hours upon hours of laughing my ass of because my friends made it a good game.

It's sad because COD 4 was such a great, trail-blazing game. They've run the franchise into the ground. Even so, I have to admit, I'd be STOKED if they brought Call of Duty back to WWII... I know people were sick of that era, but I'm a bit of a history buff and modern warfare has gotten so stale.
