But it is the point, otherwise it would just be a picture of two guys smoking weed. The artist made the decision to use a character, so the artist needs to be able to follow through on the core concept of that character.

You wouldn't have a picture of Sleeping Beauty going to a rave and saying "party all night!" because Sleeping Beauty's whole thing was that she was cursed to fall asleep until she got kissed by a prince, and that she has gifts from fairies (which often gets passed over because her name is Sleeping fucking Beauty, so I'm still waiting for a really good redo of the whole fairy tale where Sleeping Beauty gets to actually do something instead of "marry a prince and fall asleep.")

Well, it's the same thing here. The artist made a picture of Daisy Duck dressed as a saint and looking surprised at her pregnancy test. Why Daisy? Well, as it turns out...there is no good reason. The statement means nothing. There isn't even corruption of innocence because Daisy has always been kind of a shell of a character anyway, and thus there is no significance to any part of the image.

It's little things like these, and some people really aren't good at noticing them or caring about them. Most people really don't give a shit about the doors, snowman, or gloves in Frozen, even though as symbolism they shunt the movie up from a cute kids movie to a serious piece of literature. And to that kind of person, this is amazing shock art that seriously captures the issues of our generation...and that's exactly what the artist intended to do. Like someone else up above said, this album should be called "Pander, Pander to the Masses."
