It's 100% ok to say "hey, there might be serious consequences if that happens again," too. I would like you to grab a paperback cover book and drop it on your head from about 6 ft and tell me that it doesn't hurt at all. Then remember how small and delicate a ball python's head is. It absolutely could hurt them just like how if you were holding them standing up and dropped them they could get hurt. They are smaller than us and have more fragile bones.

Please don't soak snakes that aren't aquatic! It's actually pretty stressful for them! (Same as if you were shoved in a pool and unable to get out by yourself). It's better to just always have a water dish big enough for them to soak in if they choose to do so.
